Abstract

Non-bank financial institutions such as leasing need to provide the best service to consumers. In the midst of high competition between financial institutions and banks, PT Bussan Auto Finance Pematangsiantar must understand the competitive strategy by using a customer service strategy. This study aims to determine the effect of SERVQUAL on consumer satisfaction at PT Auto Finance Pematangsiantar. The sample used in this study was 98 people with a non-probability sampling technique with the slovin model. The primary data collected was then processed using SPSS software. The data were tested with validity, reliability and normality tests. Then a hypothesis test was conducted to determine whether there was a significant effect and a determinant coefficient test was conducted to determine the magnitude of the influence between variables. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect between service quality and customer satisfaction of 76.5% while the remaining 23.5% was influenced by other variables. To develop this research, other variables such as marketing mix and customer relationship management can be used.

Abstract

Lake Toba is one of the priority tourism destinations which has natural, cultural, and spiritual wealth. In realizing Lake Toba as the Monaco of Asia, it is necessary to pay attention to various aspects, one of which is the tourism image of Lake Toba in the eyes of tourists. The increase of destination image is influenced by the trust of tourists in tourist objects. This study aims to determine how the influence of destination image on tourist visit decisions in Samosir Regency. The sample used in this study were 100 tourists who were visiting in Samosir Regency. This research is descriptive and quantitative research. Data collection techniques using observation and distribution of questionnaires to tourists. The sampling technique was random sampling with a simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that destination image has a significant positive effect on tourist visits. Where the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.258, which means that destination image has an influence of 25.8% on the decision to visit tourists to Lake Toba, Samosir Regency, while the remaining 74.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study such, covid-19 condition, service quality, tourism performance. and others.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, bisnis kuliner sudah sangat menjamur di mana-mana. Di Kota Pematangsiantar sendiri terdapat ratusan tempat kuliner dengan berbagai variasi jenis makanan yang dapat dipilih oleh konsumen, seperti rumah makan, cafe, dan coffe shop. Bisnis coffe shop dinilai tidak hanya menawarkan makanan dan minuman saja, tetapi juga menawarkan fasilitas yang dapat memberikan kenyamanan bagi pengunjungnya dengan harapan pengunjung akan merekomendasikan tempat ini kepada teman ataupun kerabat mereka sehingga akan meningkatkan pengunjung coffe shop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh fasilitas terhadap minat beli konsumen dengan word of mouth sebagai pemediasi pada Publik Kopi Pematangsiantar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Teknik anallisis data terdiri dari uji normalitas, analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara fasilitas terhadap minat beli konsumen dengan word of mouth sebagai pemediasi pada Publik Kopi Pematangsiantar. Saran dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pihak coffe shop sebaiknya menerapkan diskon dan promo dengan konsep yang berbeda setiap minggunya, menggunakan mesin grinder yang dapat mengurangi biaya dalam pembelian bahan kopi dan menghasilkan kualitas kopi yang jauh lebih baik, serta memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai wadah promosi yang lebih efektif dalam menjangkau pengunjung yang lebih luas.  Today, the culinary business has mushroomed everywhere. In Pematangsiantar City itself, there are hundreds of culinary places with various types of food that consumers can choose from, such as restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops. The coffee shop business is considered not only to offer food and drinks, but also to offer facilities that can provide comfort for visitors in the hope that visitors will recommend this place to their friends or relatives so that it will increase coffee shop visitors. This study aims to analyze the influence of facilities on consumer buying intention with word of mouth as a mediator in Publik Kopi Pematangsiantar. Data is collected by using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument test used is validity test and reliability test. Data analysis techniques consist of normality test, qualitative descriptive analysis, and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that there is positive and significant influence between facilities on consumer buying interest with word of mouth as a mediator in Publik Kopi Pematangsiantar. Suggestions from the results of this study are the coffee shop should use a grinder machine that can reduce costs in purchasing coffee ingredients and produce much better quality coffee, apply discounts and promos with a different concept every week, and use social media as a better promotional platform. effective in reaching a wider audience.

Abstract

In terms of technological developments today, more and more people have vehicles to run daily activities. Therefore, vehicle taxes become superior in providing income and become a greater source of income than other types of local taxes. The objective of this research is to know the influence of vehicle taxes to local tax revenues at the BERSAMA SAMSAT office of Pematangsiantar. The sample in this research is in the form of vehicle tax revenue of Simalungun Regency report in the period of 2013-2016 at BERSAMA SAMSAT Office of Pematangsiantar since the data in the form of the latest financial statements t so that can be calculated the development and the problem. The data collection method in this research is documentation and observation method. The data analysis method in this study using microsoft excel, that is by simple linear regression test method. The result of this research is that partially vehicle taxes positively influence to local tax revenue of Simalungun regency and Pematangsiantar City with contribution of influence given 99% while the rest 1% is the influence of other factors not examined. Thus the better the acceptance of vehicle taxes, the local tax revenue of Simalungun and Pematangsiantar City will increase.

Abstract

Work discipline can improve company progress. This study aims to determine the influence of employee work discipline on employee performance at PT Bridgestone Pondok Bandar Jambu, Simalungun Regency. This research is a quantitative study using all employees as the sample. Data collection techniques is done by distributing questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results of the data were obtained by using SPSS, the data were tested by validity test, reliability test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, normality test, and simple linear analysis. From the research results, there is a significant positive effect of work discipline on employee performance where the magnitude of the influence of the discipline variable is 51.6% while the remaining 48.4 % is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this study such as work environment variables, leadership style, and others.

Abstract

Service is very important factor in the service industry. Improving service quality can retain consumers and increase satisfaction. This study aims to examine and explain the magnitude of the effect of service recovery on customer satisfaction levels. The object of this research is Panin Bank KCU Pematangsiantar. This research is a quantitative study with a sample size of 97 customers using a purposive side. The collecting data method is using a questionnaire. The analysis technique uses a simple linear regression analysis model. Data are testing for validity test, reliability test, normality test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of the SPSS test showed that there was an effect of service recovery of 58.8% on satisfaction, and the remaining 41.7% influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The t-test shows that there is a signifikant positive effect on customer satisfaction. The results of this study are to provide information to management in making service improvement policies. For subsequent research, the research variables can be developed like service quality and customer relationship management

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus epidemic that hit Indonesia had an impact on policies in changing creative, adaptive and innovative teaching and learning processes. In preventing the spread of the covid-19 virus, the Indonesian government closed schools and universities for a while. Campus management conducts health protocols without reducing teaching and learning process between students and lecturers. One of the activities carried out on campus is by conducting online or online classes using various applications such as zoom and E-learning. This research method is done by qualitative methods. Data obtained by conducting a survey of 50 Indonesian Business Polytechnic students online. The purpose of this research is to get information about problems and obstacles faced by students when conducting the online learning process. This research is expected to be able to provide input for higher education institutions in managing and providing policies during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Service quality is one of the most important in government services because society will give good value from the services of their community. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the influence of the quality of public services on community satisfaction in Simalungun district, This study used a qualitative method and the data was collected by using questioner and observation method . The sample is using 100 samples with random sampling. The data collected then tested the validity and reliability and then analyzed using linear analysis using SPSS. From this study, it can be seen that there is a positive and significant influence on service satisfaction in the Dolok Batu Nanggar sub-district of 53.8% while 46.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. For further research can be develoedp using relationship management or loyalty variable.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of environment and working motivation on employee performance of Pematangsiantar mayor's office. The research method use quantitative. The sample of the research is 100 people by using purposive sampling. The data were tested with validity and reliability test with SPSS. The data analysis with multiple linear regression method.The result statistic showed the influence of environment and work motivation on employee performance are positif significant with R Square 78.1%. The 21.9% influenced by other factor outside of the variabel.

Abstract

The rapid development of hotel business in Pematangsiantar be an opportunity as well as challenges that must be faced by Sapadia Hotel. As a company which engaged in services, service quality becomes the key factor of success in the competition. The objective of the study is to find out the influence of service quality toward customer satisfaction at Pematangsiantar Sapadia hotel. The data collection method i is by using questionnaire and observation method, the sample of the research is 100 people by using random sampling. The dimensions to measure services namely assurance, tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, and emphaty. The data were tested with validity and reliability tests and processed with SPSS and the data analysis method which is used namely linear regression test method. The findings indicate that there are a positive and significant relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction by using R Square 58, 9% while the rest 41,1% influenced by other factors not examined in this study. For further research development can be used using other variables such as brand and loyalty.
