This on time production to produce 570 kg of pine wood sawdust. This certainly has an impact on the surrounding environment because this waste accumulate in partner UMKM without processing furthermore. Furthermore Whereas pine wood waste can be processed into panel board products by adding coconut fiber and mushroom waste as an adhesive. Waste mushroom is a by product of processing mushrooms where the mushrooms with quality that do not meet export standards are piled up and become waste that disturbs the environment. Therefore the KKN PPM activity aims to provide the introduction and diffusion of pine wood powder processing, coconut fiber and straw mushroom waste into panel boards that can overcone the problems faced by UMKM .  The method used to achieve the above objectives is to carry out intensive assistance by the KKN PPM implementation team and student to the furniture UMKM group community both in the production   process to marketing . Abstract

This study aims to determine the best concentration on the comparison of jackfruit skin starch and chitosan with the addition of virgin coconut oil (VCO) as a plasticizer and the characteristics of bioplastics. The research method consisted of the following steps: extracting jackfruit skin starch using two processes, namely the delignification process and the bleaching process. The production of bioplastics was carried out with the following treatments: Jackfruit skin starch: chitosan, each with a ratio of P1= 100%:0%; P2 = 85%:15%; P3 = 70%:30% and P4 = 55%:45% with the addition of VCO of 10% of the total starch of jackfruit skin and chitosan and stirred for 1 hour until homogeneous. The resulting solution was then printed on a glass mold with a size of 20 x 15 cm and dried in an oven at 60oC for 6 hours. The bioplastics were cooled at room temperature for 6 hours then removed from the glass plate and stabilized in a desiccator before being analyzed. Data analysis used the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 4 treatment levels and three replications. The results showed that the addition of chitosan and VCO had a very significant effect (p<0.05) on the characteristics of bioplastics. The best treatment ratio was obtained in the ratio of jackfruit skin starch: chitosan 55%:45% with each thickness value of 0.1682 mm, tensile strength of 0.5933 MPA, 20% water absorption and 50% biodegradability test which can be degraded for 3 weeks.

Abstract

The sperm sexing technique is the separation of spermatozoa carrying the X chromosome and the Y chromosome, which allows farmers to choose male births for beef cattle businesses. However, the process of centrifugation and sperm preservation can cause oxidative stress which gives rise to free radicals. Therefore, an antioxidant ingredient is needed in the diluent, including noni fruit extract which contains lots of flavonoids. This research aims to analyze the addition of noni fruit extract in a diluent to improve the quality of Y-chromosome spermatozoa at a storage temperature of 5oC. The results of the study showed the results of analysis of the progressive motility of Y-chromosome spermatozoa, showing a decrease in progressive motility, on D7 and D-9 there was a difference between control vs P1 and P2 (P<.05) respectively 37.63% vs 49.96% vs 48.56%, while on day 11 showed a very real difference between P0 vs P1 vs P2 respectively 24.32% vs 36.77% vs 40.87%. The addition of 3% and 5% noni extract can improve the quality of Y spermatozoa stored at 5oC. This is because noni extract contains amino acids, ascorbic acid, and flavonoids as antioxidants so that it is able to prevent free radicals, scavengers, and damage to the spermatozoa plasma membrane can be prevented. The addition of 5% noni fruit extract in the diluent to improve the quality of Y-chromosome spermatozoa at a storage temperature of 5oC for up to 11 days.
