Abstract

Abstrak: Prevalensi kejadian cedera tertinggi pada anak dengan usia sekolah. Cedera dapat menjadi kasus kegawatdaruratan dan menimbulkan luka yang serius jika tidak diatasi dengan benar. Kesiapan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan penanganan awal kegawatdaruratan menjadi poin penting untuk mencegah memburuknya kondisi penderita. Pertolongan pertama yang tepat pada kasus kegawatdaruratan di sekolah harus didukung dengan pengetahuan yang cukup. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan siswa/siswi mengenai pertolongan pertama kasus kegawatdaruratan di sekolah. Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMP N 9 Model Kota Lubuklinggau. Metode kegiatan ini diawali dengan pretest, penyuluhan materi, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan dengan metode simulasi, dan posttest. Jumlah peserta kegiatan sebanyak 20 orang siswa/siswi yang aktif dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sekolah. Hasil evaluasi terlihat ada peningkatan nilai rerata pretest dengan kategori cukup baik (55%) menjadi baik pada nilai posttest (90%) dan peserta menjadi terampil dalam penanganan kasus cedera yang sering terjadi di sekolah. Pelatihan pertolongan pertama pada kasus kedaruratan di sekolah harus diberikan sejak dini sebagai bekal memberikan pertolongan sesegera mungkin guna menghindari bahaya yang lebih kompleks.Abstract: The highest prevalence of injury in children of school age. An injury can be an emergency case and cause serious injury if not treated properly. Readiness of knowledge and skills for early emergency management is an important point to prevent the deterioration of the patient's condition. Appropriate first aid in emergency cases in schools must be supported with sufficient knowledge. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of students regarding first-aid emergencies in schools. Community service activities have been carried out in SMP N 9 Model Lubuklinggau City. The method of this activity begins with a pretest, counseling the material, followed by training with simulation methods, and posttest. The number of participants in the activities was 20 students who were active in school extracurricular activities. Evaluation results show that there is an increase in the average pretest score in the good enough category (55%) to be good in the posttest score (90%) and participants become skilled in handling injury cases that often occur in schools. First aid training in emergency cases at school should be given early as a provision to provide help as soon as possible in order to avoid more complex dangers.

Abstract

Abstrak: Anak usia sekolah berjumlah 30% dari masyarakat di Indonesia. Anak pada usia tersebut sangat penting dibekali pemahaman tentang kebiasan perilaku hidup bersih sehat karena beresiko terkena penyakit. Upaya promosi kesehatan di sekolah akan lebih efektif dengan menggunakan pendekatan sebaya. Optimalisasi hasil dalam rangka kegiatan tersebut, perlu dibentuk dan dilatih siswa sekolah dasar menjadi kader kesehatan sekolah yang disebut Ners Cilik. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pembentukan Kader Ners Cilik sebagai bentuk upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat di sekolah dasar, sehingga dapat berperan sebagai agen perubahan penggerak perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Kader Ners Cilik dipilih dari kelas 4 dan 5 SD Uswatun Hasanah berjumlah 20 orang yang telah mengikuti pelatihan. Peningkatan pengetahuan dilakukan dengan bentuk penyuluhan kesehatan dengan metode permainan edukatif ular tangga yang berisikan pertanyaan seputar PHBS dan P3K. Hasil evaluasi terlihat ada peningkatan nilai rerata pre dan posttest. Rerata pengetahuan PHBS dari nilai 78,25 meningkat menjadi 91,75 dan rerata pengetahuan P3K dari nilai 61,25 meningkat menjadi 80. Pembentukan Kader Ners Cilik diharapkan dapat dibentuk sejak dini sebagai upaya pelayanan kesehatan sederhana di lingkungan sekolah.Abstract: School age-children is 30% of the people in Indonesia. It is very important for children at that age to be equipped with an understanding of clean and healthy living habits because they are at risk of getting disease. Health promotion efforts in schools will be more effective by using a peer approach. Optimizing the results in the context of these activities, it is necessary to form and train elementary school students to become school health cadres called Little Nurses. The aim of this community service activity is the formation of a cadre of young nurses as a form of community empowerment in elementary schools, so that they can act as agents of change in driving clean and healthy living behavior. The cadres of Little Nurses were selected from the 4th and 5th grades of SD Uswatun Hasanah totaling 20 people who had attended the training. Knowledge improvement is carried out in the form of health education with the snake and ladder educational game method which contains questions about PHBS and first aid. The results of the evaluation showed that there was an increase in the mean pre and posttest scores. The average PHBS knowledge increased from 78.25 to 91.75 and the average P3K knowledge increased from 61.25 to 80. The formation of a cadre of little nurses is expected to be formed early on as an effort to provide simple health services in the school environment.

Abstract

Abstrak: Anak usia pra sekolah merupakan golongan rawan terjadi permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut khususnya karies gigi. Anak pada usia tersebut sangat gemar mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung gula tanpa diimbangi dengan perawatan kesehatan gigi. Kebiasaan menanamkan peduli kesehatan gigi dan mulut perlu diajarkan sejak dini. Oleh karena itu, anak perlu diberi bekal pengetahuan tentang gosok gigi yang baik dan benar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak pra sekolah tentang cara menggosok gigi yang baik dan benar. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari anak pra sekolah dari PAUD Unggulan Ar Risalah Lubuklinggau berjumlah 35 anak. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah persiapan dengan melakukan studi pendahuluan ke PAUD, pelaksanaan penyuluhan yaitu edukasi kesehatan dengan media phantom gigi dan video animasi gosok gigi dilanjutkan dengan praktik gosok gigi yang benar didampingi oleh tim pengabdi dan mahasiswa. Hasil evaluasi terlihat ada peningkatan pemahaman anak tentang gigi sehat, manfaat gosok gigi, dan waktu gosok gigi, serta peningkatan ketrampilan anak praktik gosok gigi yang baik dan benar. Optimalisasi gerakan gosok gigi ini hendaknya dilakukan secara kontinyu di sekolah dan dilanjutkan di rumah dengan dukungan dari orang tua.Abstract: Pre-school age children are a group that is prone to dental and oral health problems, especially dental caries. Children at that age are very fond of consuming foods that contain sugar without being balanced with dental health care. The habit of instilling dental and oral health care needs to be taught from an early age. Therefore, children need to be equipped with knowledge about brushing their teeth properly and correctly. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of pre-school children about how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. Participants in the activity consisted of 35 children from pre-school early childhood Ar Risalah Lubuklinggau. The stages of implementing this community service activity are preparation by conducting a preliminary study to PAUD, implementation of counseling, namely health education with dental phantom media and animated teeth brushing videos followed by correct tooth brushing practices accompanied by a team of service and students. The results of the evaluation showed that there was an increase in children's understanding of healthy teeth, the benefits of brushing their teeth, and when to brush their teeth, as well as increasing children's skills in good and correct brushing practices. Optimization of this tooth brushing movement should be carried out continuously at school and continued at home with the support of parents.
