Abstract

This research was conducted at September – November 2020 with the aim of knowing the types of pests and diseases that predominantly attack lime in Perak District, Jombang Regency. This research is descriptive quantitative, namely direct sampling from the observation location, using traps such as trap holes, trap nets and direct observations on lime plantations. Sampling of all plants will be the sampling point (30 plants. Observations were made 10 repetitions, with an observation time interval of 3 days. The pest data obtained were identified and analyzed using the abundance index (K) and Dominant index (C) formulas. The pest identification study obtained 504 individuals consisting of 6 species. The highest insect abundance (K) value was found in the Coccidae family with the Order Homoptera, which was 53,968. The dominance index value was 0.29 indicating the result that there was no dominant family in this study planting.

Abstract

Potential biomass such as rice straw, Eichornia crassipes and cow dung can be used as raw material for compost. This study aims to determine the ratio of the composition of the best raw materials and determine the minimum time required to produce quality compost. This study used a comparative treatment dose composition of K1 = Cow dung 25% + Straw 50% + Eichornia crassipes 25%, K2 = Cow dung 25% + Straw 25% + Eichornia crassipes 50%, K3 = Cow dung 50% + Straw 25% + Eichornia crassipes 25%.The weight of the material for each treatment is 5kg. This study used 2 local isolates of trichoderma sp, EM4 and without Decomposer for comparison. The composting process lasts for 21 days with temperatures ranging from 28,1°C - 35°C. Compost humidity range 80 to 85%, and pH ranges from 6.5 to 7.5. In general, the quality of the compost produced is in accordance with SNI 19-7030-2004 with K3Mt = 50% cow dung + 25% straw + 25% Eichornia crassipes, with the addition of local microbe Trichoderma sp Isolate can conclude the physical properties of compost. Color (3.83), Smell (4.42), Texture (3.83), and Temperature (29,75 °C), pH 7, humidity 85% with the best test results.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of fruits. One of them is salak fruit. This study was prepared to determine the morphological characteristics and kinship relationships of salak pace, black salak, and yellow salak plants. This research was conducted in Bedahlawak Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency. This research was conducted in February-April 2021 by selecting 5 samples from each type of salak plant with research parameters of plant height, leaf length, leaf width, leaf tip shape, leaf tension distance, top surface color of leaves, color of the underside surface of the leaves. The research was conducted by conducting direct observations and compiled using descriptive methods and analyzed using cluster analysis in the form of similarity dendograms. Based on vegetative morphological observations, characteristics on the parameters of plant height, leaf length, upper surface color of leaves, color of the underside of the leaves, length of the pelepah, length of thorns, shape of thorns, texture of thorns, distance of thorn density, length of roots and have a distant kinship relationship by showing a similarity value of 56%-63%.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to foster the spirit of students in studying religion and increase the self-confidence of the students. This community service activity was located at the TPQ Al Muttaqin Foundation in Kayen Village, Bandarkbuildingmulyo District, Jombang Regency. This activity was carried out in October 2020 with a total of approximately 35 students. The approach method for the implementation of community service activities was in the form of socialization, training and holding student creation competition activities in the context of the 2020 Santri Day commemoration with the TPQ Al Muttaqin children to foster the enthusiasm and motivation of the students in Islamic activities. The competitions that were held included: coloring competition, memorizing competition of short letters, and adzan competition. The evaluation of the results of the activities showed that the students admitted that they were happy with this competition because they were given a forum for self-development in acclimating Islamic character. The students also claimed to be more motivated in carrying out religious activities such as praying 5 times in congregation.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PKM revitalisasi lahan melalui gerakan penanaman seribu pohon sebagai upaya pencegahan erosi di desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang adalah untuk; 1) meningkatkan dan membentuk kesadaran tentang konservasi sumber daya lahan di lingkungan, 2) meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang manfaat penghijauan dan menjaga lingkungan, dan 3) menumbuhkan rasa memiliki dan berperan dalam menjaga lingkungan melalui gerakan tanam dan pelihara pohon. Tempat kegiatan di Desa Banjarsari, kecamatan Bandar Kedung Mulyo, kabupaten Jombang pada bulan Oktober 2020. Mitra dalam kegiatan PKM tentang revitalisasi lahan adalah pemuda dan masyarakat desa Banjarsari. Tim PKM Unwaha terdiri dari Dosen Fakultas Pertanian sebagai fasilitator dan para mahasiswa Unwaha. Pelaksanaan PKM kegiatan pertama menggunakan metode sosialisasi dalam bentuk pemberian materi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab tentang manfaat revitalisasi lahan melalui penghijauan. Substansi materi pertama adalah cara penanaman bibit pohon, dan pemeliharaan bibit pohon. Kegiatan ke dua adalah menggunakan metode praktek dan aplikasi di lapang. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan oleh tim PKM bersama dengan pemuda Karang taruna dan warga desa Banjarsari. Kegiatan PKM secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan baik dan berhasil, berdasarkan pengukuran tiga komponen. Tiga komponen tersebut Program PKM yaitu kesesuaian dengan keinginan masyarakat,kerjasama pengabdian tim PKM bersama masyarakat,dan Peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan. Adanya kegiatan tersebut diharapkan ada kesadaran masyarakat akan untuk memelihara lingkungan hidupnya mengingat wilayah mereka berada di kawasan rentan banjir

Abstract

The activity is in the form of training in making hand sanitizers for youth organizations in Mojokambang village, Jombang district. This activity aims to increase public understanding about making hand sanitizers independently which is easy and inexpensive. This activity was followed by 25 participants and held for 3 days starting 26-28 October 2020 at balaidesa Mojokambang. The methods used in this activity are socialization, discussion and training / practice. The results of this activity are expected to be able to assist the community in increasing awareness in protecting themselves and the environment against the spread of the Covid 19 virus by making hand sanitizers independently that are easy and inexpensive. Abstract

Pelatihan dan pendampingan analisis sifat fisik dan kimia tanah sederhana kepada masyarakat di Kecamatan Bandar Kedung Mulyo ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar masyarakat memiliki keterampilan dalam melakukan analisis fisik dan kimia tanah. Keterampilan dalam menentukan sifat tanah dapat membantu warga dalam memanfaatkan potensi lahan yang dimiliki. Selain itu pengetahuan tentang sifat tanah juga akan membantu masyarakat memahami tentang kesehatan tanah dan mengetahui kriteria kesuburan tanah yang dapat diamati dari sifat fisik dan kimia tanah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2021 di Balai Desa Banjar Sari, Kecamatan Bandar Kedung Mulyo, Jombang, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah sekitar 60 orang yang berasal dari tujuh desa yang berbeda, yaitu Desa Brodot, Brangkal, Gondang Manis, Pucang Simo, Banjar Sari, Barong Sawahan, dan Tinggar. Pada pertemuan pertama peserta mendapatkan materi tentang tanah termasuk sifat fisik dan kimia tanah. Pada pertemuan selanjutnya, peserta membawa sampel tanah yang diambil dari lokasi masing-masing sesuai dengan domisili desa untuk mengamati sifat fisik dan kimia tanah. Sifat fisik tanah yang diamati adalah warna, tekstur, dan aerasi. Sifat kimia yang dianalisis adalah kapasitas tukar kation (KTK). Peserta antusias dalam melaksanakan seluruh rangkaian pelatihan. Antusias peserta dapat terlihat dari keaktifan peserta ketika bertanya dan berdiskusi. Pada akhir kegiatan peserta menyerahkan laporan hasil analisis sampel tanah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, sebagian besar peserta sudah terampil dalam melakukan analisis fisik dan kimia tanah secara sederhana.

Abstract

Mahagony plants are found in Indonesia. The leaves of this plant contain high levels of antioxidants and flavonoids, so they can be useful as antioxidant. In the study, mahogany leaves were extracted using the maceration extraction method, after obtaining the mahogany leaf extract, further tests were carried out to determine the antioxidant and flavonoid content in it. Antioxidant testing was carried out using the DPPH method (1.1 Dhipenyl 2 Pycnihydrazy). namely 2500 ppm, 1250 ppm, 625 ppm, 3125 ppm and also 156.25 ppm. The ability of antioxidant compounds contained in each concentration was 2500 ppm at 76 09%, 1250 ppm at 70.57%, 625 ppm at 67 96% 3125 ppm absatat 61 77% and 1565 at 13.95% The lowest inhibitory power was found at the highest concentration. ie 2500 ppm Mahogany leaves are strong antioxidants, as evidenced by a high value of 1650 (IC50 100) in the results of the mahogany plant leaf extract test. While the content of flavonoids shows that in the leaves of the mahogany plant there is a flavonoid actxawa. Total levels of flavonoids dissolved in a concentration of 100 ppm achesar 44.4 QEg This study is able to provide information about the potential of mahagony plant leaves as antioxidants.

Abstract

Agriculture is an important foundation in the fulfillment of food commodities. Meeting household food needs is an important foundation for achieving food security. However, not all people in Tampingmojo Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency have agricultural land to be able to meet their food needs, especially agricultural land in Tampingmojo Village has decreased since the construction of the Mojokerto - Kertosono toll road, so that the supply of food commodities such as vegetables and fish depends on supplies from outside the village. Tampingmojo. Aquaponics is a solution for food security for the Tampingmojo village community. This community service purpose to introduce Aquaponics Technology to the Tampingmojo village community by utilizing available local resources. The targeted community for this activity is a group of PKK women and Karang Taruna youth in the village of Tampingmojo. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which is carried out in 3 stages, there are preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the evaluation showed that 80% of the post-test questions could be answered by participants and the delivery of simple aquaponic technology materials was well received and could be applied with the available resources in Tampingmojo village.

Abstract

Tanah merupakan salah satu media tumbuh yang biasanya digunakan dalam budidaya pertanian. merupakan salah satu faktor lingkungan yang tanah memiliki berbagai sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi. Sifat fisik tanah terdiri dari tekstur dan struktur. Tekstur tanah terdiri dari ukuran fraksi pasir, debu, dan liat. Tekstur tanah mempengaruhi kemampuan tanah dalam menahan air dan juga pertumbuhan akar tanaman. Tanah yang baik harus mengandung unsur hara makro dan mikro esensial, bahan organik, kapasitas pertukaran kation, dan pH tanah yang sesuai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik tanah pertanian di Dusun Banjarsari, Kecamatan Bandarkedungmulyo, Kabupaten Jombang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan pada Desember 2021. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah di Desa Banjarsari, Bandarkedungmulyo, Jombang, Jawa Timur dan laboratoriun Fakultas Pertanian Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tanah di lokasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memiliki porositas rendah, sedang, hingga tinggi. Tanah dengan porositas tinggi terdapat pada horizon III. Kapasitas pertukaran kation tertinggi juga terdapat pada horizon III. Aerasi tanah yang baik akan dipengaruhi oleh tingginya porositas tanah. Pada horizon I tanah memiliki porositas rendah karena banyak mengandung fraksi lempung, sehingga lebih sesuai untuk pertumbuhan akar tanaman.
