Abstract

Violence is a psychological activity in individual life as a result of emotional outbursts and it manifested in actions that can harm others people. The phenomenon of violence that occurs in reality often become a source of inspiration or idea for a writer such as Leila S. Chudori. Through her novel, Laut Bercerita (2017), he describes the violence in the life story experienced by the main character: Biru Laut. The data analysis technique is carried out by (1) identifying the data, namely recording all forms of violence in the novel; (2) classifying data, namely sorting out physical and non-physical violence; (3) interpreting data, namely interpreting each paragraph or sentence according to the researcher's understanding based on theory; and (4) describing the data, namely detailing in depth and focus so that the problem to be answered is found. As a result, in the novel of Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori, there are two types of violence, namely (1) physical violence, in the form of fists, kicks, slaps, etc. and (2) non-physical violence, in the form of fear, sadness, trauma, and other psychological disorders.

Abstract

This Community Benefit (PKM) points to make strides English dialect abilities through the TOEFL educating program for Al-Amien Bugih Tall School understudies. Abstract

The Community Service (PkM) activity carried out by the Madura University PKM team with the theme "Changing literacy culture into a learning environment at SDS Al-Amien Pamekasan Pamekasan" was carried out by the Madura University community service team involving teachers to learn more about the dynamics and growth of reading gardens to then further encourage the reading tradition or the reading culture of the community. society to develop as students in modern times in the future.  The activity which lasted for three days succeeded in providing soft skills and motivation to teachers and students of SDS Al-Amien Pamekasan. The proposal for this training is the need for all parties to participate in supporting the program so that the younger generation in particular and the community have a literacy culture and become learners in all the developments of life to grow bigger. In addition to deep motivation for the younger generation and society, it is also important for students to be able to fulfill their potential by developing a reading culture, especially how to read and deliver literary works effectively. This positive activity became a real work among students who were born from a love of reading

Abstract

The mandate of Law Number 27 concerning the management of coastal areas is the government's representation for coastal communities to develop the potential of Natural Resources and Human Resources (NR and HR).Through its enormous marine potential, it should provide hope and opportunity, especially for coastal communities to become prosperous communities. So with such a large marine wealth, it seems unbelievable that it has not been able to prosper the lives of the fishing community. Most Indonesian fishermen still live within the poverty line. The poor criteria are shown by the low income of fishermen, so that they still experience difficulties in meeting their basic needs for food, clothing, health, housing and a decent level of education.In order to realize a prosperous coastal community, creativity and innovation are needed to encourage and maintain food security so as to provide effective solutions for poverty alleviation in the village of Branta Pesisir, Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency. Abstract

This study seeks to understand the role of children's literature in the character development of elementary school children. Learning children's literature in elementary school has a significant impact on the development of a child's personality. Although children's literature is intended to entertain, it is still educational. Children's attitudes and behavior can be influenced by reading age-appropriate literature. The research technique used is literature review. Data were obtained from various literary sources, including textbooks, scientific articles, and digital libraries. Examining reading sources that are relevant to the study discussed, namely the impact of learning children's literature on the character formation of elementary school students is the data analysis method used. The findings of this study indicate that a teacher must have knowledge of subjects, teaching materials, and learning strategies in order to teach children's literature for character development. Elementary school children will gain an understanding of good and bad, right and wrong, and appropriate and inappropriate through character education contained in literature.

Abstract

Abstrak: Fenomena zaman modern di saat ini yang sering kita jumpai anak-anak yang  kurang hormat terhadap orangtuanya, sikap anti sosial yang dapat terlihat dari kehidupan sehari-hari baik di sekolah maupun di masyarakat. Dalam pandangan bernegara, sebuah bangsa harus mengenal jati dirinya agar menjadi bangsa yang unggul. Sehingga perlu adanya perangkat nilai dan aturan yang kuat agar tidak terjadi krisis budaya dan disintegrasi bangsa di Indonesia. pendidikan di Indonesia harus menanamkan jiwa dan kepribadian bangsa yang bersumber dari akar budaya negara dan jelas berlandaskan Pancasila sebagai cita-cita bangsa, falsafah dan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa. Melalui kesadaran sosial diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dalam membina warga yang memiliki kepedulian sosial. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh gambaran secara factual dan actual dari nilai-nilai wawasan kewarganegaraan atau kebangsaan yang berlandaskan Pancasila bagi mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan nasionalisme. Juga secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, mengeksplorasi, dan memperoleh gambaran tentang perilaku dan kepribadian mahasiswa dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai wawasan Pancasila dalam lngkungan kehidupan sosial, berbangsa dan bernegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian atau metode survei. Berdasarkan hasil kajian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti mengenai pelaksanaan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memperoleh pengetahuan dalam membentuk kesadaran bernegara dapat disimpulkan bahwa: sejalan dengan materi  Kewarganegaraan sesuai dengan harapan dari pembelajaran tersebut maka pembelajaran Kewarganegaraan  dapat membentuk penilaian benar dan salah pada Mahasiswa Kewarganegaraan dengan  mengamati. Secara spesifik dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran pendidikan kewarganegaraan pada mahasiswa: 1. Mahasiswa telah mampu memahami dan berpartisipasi dalam organisasi sosial, dan lingkungan. 2. Mahasiswa mampu memahami serta melaksanakan hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara sesuai dengan peraturan dan norna nilai. 3. Mahasiswa mampu berpikir, bersikap dan berbuat yang terbaik bagi bangsa dan negara sehingga timbul rasa nasionalisme.Abstract: The phenomenon of modern times today is that we often encounter children who lack respect for their parents, anti-social attitudes that can be seen from everyday life both at school and in society. In the view of the state, a nation must know its identity in order to become a superior nation. So it is necessary to have a strong set of values and rules so that there is no cultural crisis and national disintegration in Indonesia. Education in Indonesia must instill the spirit and personality of the nation which originates from the country's cultural roots and is clearly based on Pancasila as the nation's ideals, philosophy and noble values. Through social awareness it is hoped that it can be a solution in fostering citizens who have social concerns. The purpose of this research is to find out and obtain a factual and actual discribe of the values of citizenship or nationalism based on Pancasila for students in increasing nationalism. Also specifically this research aims to identify, examine, explore, and obtain an overview of the behavior and personality of students in internalizing the values of Pancasila insight in the environment of social life, nation and state. This research uses descriptive research techniques in the form of research or survey methods. Based on the results of studies that have been conducted by researchers regarding the implementation of Citizenship Education to gain knowledge in forming awareness of the state, it can be concluded that: in line with Citizenship material in accordance with the expectations of the learning, Citizenship learning can form right and wrong judgments on Citizenship Students by observing. Specifically, it can be concluded that the role of citizenship education in students: 1. Students have been able to understand and participate in social and environmental organizations. 2. Students are able to understand and carry out their rights and obligations as citizens in accordance with the rules and norms of values. 3. Students are able to think, behave and do the best for the nation and state so that a sense of nationalism.
