Abstract

Vocabulary mastery is essential part of English as a foreign language. In teaching vocabulary, the teachers had responsibility to make their teaching successful. There are four ways of teaching vocabulary. Definitional methods, Contextual methods, Organizational and Mnemonic instructional methods. In this research the researcher used the contextual method. Riddle game is the nouns all refer to something baffling or confusing which is to be solved.  In this research the researcher used the qualitative research. After implementing riddle game, the criteria of success has been fulfilled. It means that the students’ vocabulary achievement was better than before. Based on these result, the students got many improvements, the improvements could be seen from the way they thought logically and creatively, they solved the puzzle the riddle provides and they did the test well.

Abstract

Dictation is one of techniques in learning foreign language. Understanding dictation is not always easy for students. An English lecturer should choose suitable techniques to teach them in order not to make students bored because she is one of the factors that determines whether the teaching learning process will be successful or not. The lecturer has to be able to apply various techniques in teaching English because the students prefer listening and writing an easy text. So, the lecturer can use correction techniques like shadow dictation and passing the buck.

Abstract

This Community Benefit (PKM) points to make strides English dialect abilities through the TOEFL educating program for Al-Amien Bugih Tall School understudies. One of the components behind this PKM is that these understudies have never gotten TOEFL fabric. In expansion, they moreover don't know what aptitudes are tried on the TOEFL. Abstract

The Community Service (PkM) activity carried out by the Madura University PKM team with the theme "Changing literacy culture into a learning environment at SDS Al-Amien Pamekasan Pamekasan" was carried out by the Madura University community service team involving teachers to learn more about the dynamics and growth of reading gardens to then further encourage the reading tradition or the reading culture of the community. society to develop as students in modern times in the future.  The activity which lasted for three days succeeded in providing soft skills and motivation to teachers and students of SDS Al-Amien Pamekasan. The proposal for this training is the need for all parties to participate in supporting the program so that the younger generation in particular and the community have a literacy culture and become learners in all the developments of life to grow bigger. In addition to deep motivation for the younger generation and society, it is also important for students to be able to fulfill their potential by developing a reading culture, especially how to read and deliver literary works effectively. Abstract

The objective of the research is to investigate the six steps take place during the process of teaching writing through group investigation and to identify the benefits that the students obtained from writing through group investigation. The results of the study revealed that the teaching writing by using group investigation can improve students’ ability in writing paragraph. Abstract

Three small businesses, Andre Bakery, Handyani, and Arlin Bakery, located in Tlanakan village, Tlanakan sub-district, kab. Pakistan. Considering that the heads of families from each partner work as construction workers, the existence of these three companies is absolutely necessary because they can meet the needs of this simple family. However, it is very unfortunate lately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, partner income has decreased drastically, reaching 30–50%. Partner issues will be handled with an approach that combines intensive counseling with the transfer of knowledge and technology, which includes good manufacturing practice (GMP) training, food safety counseling, product halal counseling, strengthening business management through P-IRT registration and halal products, product packaging improvements. , and the provision of production support facilities. This activity is beneficial for the three partners. The results of this PKM activity include the publication of activities in the form of improving partner production facilities, implementing partner technical guidance, and scientific articles on PKM service activities. Abstract

This study was conducted at SMP Plus Al Madaniyah. The participants of this study were seventh grade students of SMP Plus Al Madaniyah..The data were obtained through classroom observation and interview. It was found that through the activity, the students not only using the language, but also reading the language and speaking with the language.The last, the final observation. It was found that the students were able to rewrite the news with their own words.The last, the final observation. It was found that the students were able to rewrite the news with their own words. The lessons observed were reading lessons. The result of interview found some benefits from the use of online newspaper in teaching reading. The benefits attained the development of students’ reading ability, fun learning’s atmosphere and the increasing of students’ reading interest.

Abstract

Technological advances have had a significant impact on society. Internet is one type of technology used to communicate. The fact that social media is used on the Internet is one of its benefits. The use of social media is growing rapidly nowadays. Social media can be utilized to increase knowledge if handled properly and effectively. Students are given the option to choose the information that best suits their needs. Also, it might help to become more proficient at making comments and sharing ideas on social media. This study uses a qualitative methodology by using sentences from the results of the Student Questionnaire of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, FKIP Madura University as data and sources of research data. Techniques for collecting data through surveys and analyzing them qualitatively. When students share views on social media while maintaining their belief in Religious values. Aspects of faith, morals, and worship are one of the teachings of religion that must be instilled in humans. Through the educational process and teaching materials, students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, FKIP Madura University, are able to bring up aqidah and ethics. Religious principles are formally communicated through the integration and educational process. Views and behavior of other individuals that have been used in the use of social media by students. FKIP Madura University seeks to help students internalize religious values. Abstract

Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk menilai seberapa baik metode flipped classroom telah meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris para guru di SMK Al Husen Pademawu. Lingkungan pendidikan di sekolah ini menyulitkan untuk mencapai kemahiran berbahasa Inggris, terutama ketika menggunakan beberapa metode tradisional yang tersedia. Pelatihan ini mencoba untuk mengatasi keterbatasan ini dengan menggunakan pelatihan flipped classroom. Latar belakang pelatihan ini adalah lingkungan pendidikan SMK Al Husen Pademawu, di mana ditemukan bahwa ada kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris para guru agar mereka dapat lebih berhasil dalam mengajar para siswa. Ditekankan bahwa penguasaan bahasa Inggris yang baik sangat penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan komunikasi di dalam kelas. Kesulitan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris guru dan kekurangan pendekatan pelatihan tradisional diidentifikasi sebagai masalah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris para pengajar dan memperkenalkan model flipped classroom sebagai pengganti teknik pelatihan tradisional. Hal ini dilaksanakan melalui strategi yang mencakup perancangan eksperimen, pemilihan sampel, dan pemberian pelatihan flipped classroom dengan menggunakan materi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan para guru. Hasilnya akan dievaluasi dengan melacak perkembangan kemampuan bahasa Inggris para guru dan bagaimana tanggapan mereka terhadap pelatihan tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya respon positif terhadap metodologi flipped classroom dan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan bahasa Inggris para guru. Tujuan dari evaluasi ini adalah untuk mengukur dampaknya terhadap pengajaran dan pembelajaran di SMK Al Husen Pademawu. Implikasi dari pelatihan ini meliputi penggunaan pendekatan flipped classroom dalam lingkungan pendidikan, identifikasi peluang untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, dan saran untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan. Hasil pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan pendidikan baik secara lokal maupun nasional.
