Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to determine the effect of mutation, organizational culture, and transformational leadership on work motivation and employees performance in The Office of State Assets and Auction Service in East Java Province. The samples were consisted of 176 employees. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed as the method of analysis. The results showed that mutation has significant effect on work motivation, organizational culture has significant effect on work motivation, but transformational leadership does not have significant effect on work motivation. Mutation has significant effect on employee performance, organizational culture has significant effect on employee performance, but transformational leadership does not have significant effect on employee performance. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study among others, to analyze the effect of the characteristics of the organization and the individual characteristics of the stress of work and voluntary employee turnover intention PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A as well as to analyze the effect of work stress on turonover intention employee of PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A. This study was a research explanation. The study population was 162 employees of PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A sample was 100 people. Methods of data analysis used SEM. The results showed that the organizational characteristics significantly influence employee stress PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A. Abstract

AbstrakIndonesia berkali-kali terbukti cukup handal keluar dari jerat krisis global. Krisis Eropa yang membayangi negara-negara di dunia saat inipun diyakini tidak akan membawa dampak yang parah bagi Indonesia karena kekuatan pasar domestik yang dimiliki. Sektor agroindustri perikanan laut menjadi salah satu tumpuan pembangunan di Indonesia yang berdampak positif pada meningkatnya penyerapan tenaga kerja, tidak hanya dalam jumlah tetapi juga kualitas manajerial. Kualitas manajerial seseorang berhubungan dengan kualitas SDM yang diukur dari pengalaman, kemampuan, dan pendidikan yang dimiliki serta berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis relevansi kualitas manajerial pengusaha terhadap produktivitas usaha agroindustri perikanan laut di Kabupaten Jember. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pengusaha agroindustri perikanan laut di Kabupaten Jember. Teknik snowball sampling digunakan dalam penentuan sampel sedangkan untuk metode analisis digunakan analisis deskriptif dan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengalaman dan kemampuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas usaha sedangkan pendidikan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas usaha agroindustri perikanan laut di Kabupaten Jember.Kata kunci : kualitas manajerial, produktivitas, agroindustri perikanan laut AbstractIndonesia has frequently found the way out from global crisis. Nowadays, Indonesia is also confident to overcome the effects of crisis in Europe because of its existing big domestic market. Fishery agro-industry sector is one of the Indonesia‟s development focuses which has positive impacts towards the increasing number of worker to be employed not only in terms of quantity but also managerial quality. Managerial quality refers to human resource performance measured by business experiences, capability, and academic background that influence productivity of company. This study aimed to analyze the influence of managerial quality towards productivity of the fishery agro-industry in Jember district. The population of the study was all businessmen of fishery agro-industry of the selected areas. The respondents were determined by snowball sampling method in every coastal area and method of analysis using descriptive analysis and multiple regression method. It reveals that business experiences and capability had significant influence while academic background did not have significant influence toward productivity of the fishery agro-industries in Jember district.Key words: managerial quality, productivity, fishery agro-industry

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and empirically prove the direct influence of work motivation and work environment on the employee performance, and the indirect influence of work motivation and work environment on the employee performance through work satisfaction and work discipline in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IX Jember. This is an explanatory research applying the proportionate sampling method. The population was all 163 employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IX Jember. The sample of every sub-population was determined by dividing the sub-population with the number of population member multiplied by the member size of the sample that resulting in the total sample of 118 respondents. Data were collected from the questionnaire distribution and analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using IBM SPSS AMOS 20 software. Results of the study proved that all hypothesis were accepted meaning that motivation influences performance directly and indirectly through work satisfaction, and work environment influences performance directly and indirectly through work discipline. Abstract

Abstract: The library of University of Jember (UNEJ) has implemented ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) since 2008. The implementation of ISO 9001:2008 QMS is by increasing the quality of product, service, and employee performance. Therefore, this research aims to significantly analyze the direct influence of ISO 9001:2008 on work environment, work discipline, and employee performance, and the indirect influence of ISO 9001:2008 implementation on employee performance through work environment and work discipline. The sample of this explanatory research consists of 50 respondents, i.e., the employees of UNEJ library. Data were analyzed using path analysis run with SPSS 18. Results show that the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 has a positive and significant influence on work environment, employee discipline, and employee performance; work environment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance; and work discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja, pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan , pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan danpengaruh  lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Kebun Raya Sukorambi (TBS) Jember. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian  dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel karyawan Kebun Raya Sukorambi (TBS) Jember sebanyak 63 responden. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah model analisis regresi linier berganda. Untuk menganalisis hubungan kausal antara variabel digunakan  uji hipotesis dengan uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linier berganda diketahui bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,458, artinya sikap dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh kuat terhadap kehidupan organisasi, terutama kinerja pegawai di lingkungan Pelaksanaan tugas mereka Sedangkan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,065 berarti bahwa variabel motivasi dapat meningkatkan moral, kepuasan kerja, produktivitas kerja karyawan dan menciptakan suasana dan hubungan kerja yang baik. Keterbukaan tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja 0,076 berarti bahwa disiplin kerja sebagai alat untuk berkomunikasi dengan karyawan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan kemauan untuk mematuhi semua peraturan perusahaan dan norma kekuatan sosial, sedangkan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja 0,450 berarti bahwa lingkungan kerja dapat meningkatkan toleransi dalam tim, motivasi untuk melakukan kerja ekstra, dan menghormati semangat peraturan di perusahaan.Kata Kunci: leadership, motivation, discipline work, work environment and performance.

Abstract

The existence of job insecurity (JIS) cannot be avoided by every individual, including employees. Competition in the tight working world requires a variety of qualifications that must be fulfilled by every employee, particularly in maintaining their existence in the working world, including entry level employees. As the lowest position in the corporate structure hierarchy, entry levels are vulnerable to JIS. This is because entry level at the early stages of career. However, generally, entry level is the spearhead of the company, thus directly or indirectly it will affect performance both individually and a whole of company. The aim of this study is to explain the influence of JIS on employees, particularly entry level. The census method was used in this study. The results of the study shows that JIS has a significant negatif effect on work performance and organizational commitment. Besides that the results also shows that there is no significant influence between JIS on satisfaction and intention to quit the employee. One of the implications of this study is to become a referral for managers, especially in managing JIS in the organization as a whole.

Abstract

Public health centers are the spearhead in the implementation of health services in Indonesia. Public health centers are the first level facilities that seek promotive and preventive services to achieve health status. The provision of health services must be supported by adequate health personnel to support the functioning of the community health center. In accordance with its function, public health centers must have at least five promotive and preventive personnel, namely laboratory, pharmaceutical, nutrition, public health, and sanitation analysts. The availability of health human resources (HRH) for public health centers, especially laboratory analysts, nutrition, public health, and sanitation, is still not evenly distributed in the Jember district health centers. HRK planning in Jember Regency is still focused on medical personnel. This research is an exploratory research with a qualitative approach that aims to determine the HRH planning process, especially the promotive and preventive public health centers. The informants in this study were the head of the public health center administration as part of staffing and additional informants, namely analysts, nutrition, public health, and sanitation staff. Based on the results of the study, public health centers still need personnel such as analysts, nutrition, and sanitation. The results of interviews with informants indicated that the community health center did not have a special HRH planning team. In the planning process, the community health center only carried out an analysis of the HRH needs and then submitted them to the Health Office which had an important role in the planning process to meet the HRH needs of the community health center. As an executor, the community health center can only accept the applicable policies. Public health centers cannot do their own recruits because of budget constraints. This is one of the obstacles that hinders community health centers in HRH planning. Another obstacle in the planning process is waiting for a decision from the Health Office to meet HRH needs and the use of forecasting methods that are not yet clear. This causes, there is no common perception among policy makers. Keyword: Public health center, HRH planning, preventive and promotive.

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the recent development incooperative empowerment policy in Indonesia. Objectically, cooperatives need to be empowered as an engine for improving social welfare, at the same time to force poverty alleviation. After explaining the growing awareness of the importance of cooperative, the paper discusses the current system ofcooperative classification and highlights its aims, criteria, indicators, and benefits. In the case of classifying cooperatives in Situbondo District, the result shows that 11 cooperatives classified as qualified, 51 cooperatives categorized as fairly qualified, and 8 cooperatives indified as less qualified cooperatives.
