Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of emotional intellegence and organizational commitment on the employee performance fashion department in Roxy Square Mall Jember with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as intervening. The population in this study were all employees working at fasion department Roxy Square Mall Jember branch as much as 210 employees and the sample used was 138 respondents. The sampling technique uses probality sampling with simple random sampling method. The research model was tested by using the path analysis. The results of this study showed that the emotional intelligence and organizational commitment had a positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The emotional intelligence, organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) had a positive effect on the employee performance. Emotional intelligence and organizational commitment had an indirect effect on the employee performance through the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). When analyzed further, the percentage of direct effect was higher than the indirect effect, which showed that the mediating variable of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) had less effect on the employee performance. Abstract

Bisnis UKM mampu tetap berdiri tegak dan perlahan membantu negara untuk membangkitkan perekonomiannya pada kondisi ekonomi negara yang sempat mengalami keterpurukan akibat pandemi Covid-19. Banyak UKM yang mulai dikembangkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia pada bidang kerajinan salah satunya di Jember adalah Zayyan Art Design. Selama sepuluh tahun menjalankan bisnis ini, terdapat beberapa permasalahn yang dialami oleh Zayyan Art Design. Permasalahan tersebut utamanya terkait bidang pemasaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra, maka solusi yang akan dilakukan melalui upaya menargetkan pasar serta pelanggan baru dan memasuki sistem penjualan baru. Upaya tersebut dilakukan dengan cara melakukan analisis segmentasi pasar untuk mengidentifikasi pelanggan potensial. Selain itu upaya memasuki sistem penjualan baru dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk memasuki dunia bisnis baru yakni ke pemasaran online. Upaya ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan marketplace online yang sudah ada dan dengan strategi peningkatan SEO (Search Engine Optimization) untuk memudahkan pelanggan dunia maya menemukan produk mitra yang dipasarkan. Video promosi Zayyan art Design digunakan sebagai upaya untuk peningkatan exposure produk mitra. Semakin produk mitra banyak diketahui oleh khalayak masyarakat, diharapkan dapat semakin meningkatkan potensi penjualannya yang pada akhirnya memperbesar bisnis mitra.

Abstract

Besuki Raya is a former residency in East Java in the East. This area is an area with a strong traditional Islamic tradition. However, research is still rare that explores their perceptions and knowledge, especially the Millennial generation of halal products. This research tries to explore the perceptions and knowledge of the Millennial generation of halal products in the Besuki Raya area. The research method used quantitative with an explanatory approach, primary data in the form of purposive sampling as many as 108 respondents were collected from the Besuki Raya millennial generation in various agencies. The research analysis test used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the Data Analyst Test show that the Millennial generation in Besuki Raya have good knowledge of halal products. They understand about halal certification, Halal labeling and knowledge about halal products that are consumed even though the level of religiosity is different. There is a negative analysis result related to perception, this low perception is influenced by the dualism of religious elites in understanding sharia compient products..

Abstract

Covid-19 is pandemic throughout the world which has a huge impact on aspects of life, including Indonesia. The Indonesian government makes regulations to limit community activities, namely PSBB, which has an impact on sluggish economic conditions. This study aims to identify and analyze the differences in the potential for financial distress before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling of this research uses purposive sampling method, the data used is secondary data, namely the financial statements of retail companies for 2018-2021. In this study, we analyze financial distress using the Altman Z-Score theory which has been modified by calculating several financial ratios in a discriminant. In this study using the T test which in the normality test carried out the data were not normally distributed. Therefore, the study was tested using a non-parametric test, namely the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study show that there are differences in the financial distress of retail companies before and during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The creative industry is one of the industries that currently supports the Indonesian economy. The purpose of this study is to formulate the distribution model of Jember's creative industry towards the international market, especially in the performance art sector. This study is quantitative-eksploratif research conducted in Jember using SMEs as a population. The analytical tool used in this study was FGD and a fishbone diagram. The results of the fishbone diagram analysis showed several causes of SME growth problems such as the lack of HR skills in foreign languages, the inadequate sophisticated technology in business, and the minimal amount of business capital. The inappropriate adoption of the technology was then identified as the root cause of the problem. Thus, the distribution model for the creative industry to increase competitiveness in the international market is the technology application in every element of the SMEs.

Abstract

Human resources are vital things that become main movers to achieve the goals of an organization. Employee performance is very influential on the success of a company. The better the performance of employees in a company, the easier it will be for the company's process to achieve its goals. In the midst of the property business rampant, including hotels that went out of business during the pandemic due to the declining occupancy rate, Hotel 88 Jember and Luminor Hotel Jember managed to survive and climb back up again because they were able to maintain the performance of their employees. This is an important problem to overcome decreased occupancy rate that may occur in the future of hospitality business in Indonesia. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of work discipline, career development and compensation on employee performance at hotels under the management of Waringin Hospitality in Jember City. The object of this research is the population of employees at hotels under the auspices of Waringin Hospitality Management in Jember City, namely Hotel 88 Jember and Luminor Hotel Jember with a total population of 46 employees. The research data was collected by distributing questionnaires directly. The data analysis method in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. This study shows that the variables of work discipline, career development and compensation have an effect on employee performance at hotels under the auspices of Waringin Hospitality Management in Jember.
