Abstract

Sriwijaya Air realizes the importance of candidates selection of process, because this process will result in employees in accordance with the prescribed qualifying so as to achieve a performance from these new employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of the recruitment and placement of employees selection and its impact on the performance of employees of PT Sriwijaya Air Jakarta. The analytical method used is the method of path analysis. The results showed that recruitment and selection variables influence significantly on the placement of employees. Likewise, employee placement variable influence significantly on the performance of employees of PT Sriwijaya Air Jakarta. However, only recruitment variable that Significantly influence on employee performance. Recruitment is one - the only variable that has direct influence on employee performance. While selection and placement of employees variable do not affect the performance of employees. Keywords : Recruitment, Selection , Employee Placement, Performance

The study aimed at analyzing the data and information about the effect of service quality and brand trust of Garuda Indonesia to the passengers’ satisfaction and retention. The method used was descriptive and associative. The path analysis was used to analyse the data. The primary data was taken from 245 passengers who have been flying with Garuda Indonesia at least 1 time. The survey was conducted in DKI Jakarta. The result shows that the quality of service and the trusted brand effect simultaneously and partially to the passengers’ satisfaction while those three factors effect simultaneously and partially to the passengers’ retention

Abstract

The aim of this research is to perceive transformational leadership influence, organization commitment and job insecurity into turnover intention on PT. Birotika Semesta (DHL Express) Jakarta’s employees. Variable assesment using qustionnaire which distributed to 100 employees of PT. Birotika semesta (DHL Express) Jakarta. The analysis using statistical and result of the questionnaire statement are valid and reliable. Afterwards taking on BLUE tested, and multiple linear regression. Multiple linear regression results revealed that as a partial of each independent variable which transformational leadership, organization commitment, job insecurity are impact into turnover intention on PT. Birotika Semesta (DHL Express) Jakarta’s employee. Transformational leadership, organization commitment and job insecurity are impact simultaneously to turnover intention on PT. Birotika Semesta (DHL Express) Jakarta’s employee.

Abstract

TKBM atau pekerja yang bekerja di lingkungan pelabuhan sangat memerlukan pelatihan dan pemahaman tentang pentingnya keselamatan dan keamanan guna mendukung kelancaran kegiatan serta peningkatan keselamatan para pekerja di Pelabuh. Port Basic Safety and Security Training atau PBSST perlu dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu dosen ITL Trisakti terdorong untuk melaksanakan PkM dalam bentuk pelatihan kompetensi kepada TKBM. Tujuan dari PkM ini adalah agar TKBM yang ada dipelabuhan Cirebon dapat meningkatkan keselamatan dan keamanan dalam bekerja secara efektif dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam PkM ini adalah kegiatan penyuluhan dengan materi : 1). Manajemen Produktivitas TKBM, 2). Motivasi Kerja, 3). Sistem Manajemen K3 di Pelabuhan, 4). Mood Manage dalam Bekerja, dan 5). Manajemen Konflik. Konsepnya adalah dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan PBSST pada TKBM akan meningkatkan kelancaran operasional dan meningkatkan produktifitas bongkar muat. Dari hasil PkM ini didapat peningkatan pengetahuan TKBM yang siqnificant sesudah diadakan pelatihan dibanding sebelum pelatihan dengan melakukan uji beda indipendent sample t test. Dan dari hasil diskusi dengan pihak Manajemen Pelabuhan menunjukkan bahwa perlunya peningkatan kompetensi TKBM secara terus menerus melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang akan berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja pelayanan pelabuhan.

Abstract

PT. Hunter Douglas Indonesia is a foreign interior manufacture company that produces modern curtains/window covering and architectural products. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of the stock opname system to warehouse performance of the company in Cikarang. The method used in this study was field and library research. The study used simple linear regression, coefficient correlation, coefficient determination, and hypothesis testing to analyse the data. The result shows that t-count (5,459) is more than t-table (1,701) which means that there is a significant correlation between neat stock opname system and the warehouse performance in the company. Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out and analyze the company’s internal and external strategic factors in optimizing warehouse usage at PT. Birotika Semesta.  The method used in this study was the SWOT analysis method.  The result of the study shows that by internal and external matrix (IE), PT Birotika Semesta is at the cell / quadrant IV with total internal strategic factors of 3.21 and the total result of external strategic factors of 2.65 that the company is in developing state.  Therefore, the strategy applied in the company is Grow and Build.  Based on the research analysis result from 4-quadrant SWOT matrix, the position of the company is at quadrant I, formed from the intersection of the positive horizontal axis, which is the company’s strength factor at 0.62 and positive vertical axis which is business opportunities at 0.58.  The most suitable strategy is used by the company; S-O (Strength – Opportunities) strategies which is relying on the company’s strengths to maximize all the available business opportunities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation of forklift operators in compliance with safety regulations at PT. YCH Cibitung. The research used quantitative method with simple regression data analysis. The result of the research shows that there is a significant correlation between disciplines to comply with safety regulation with forklift operators’ safety. Based on the correlation coefficient r = 0.8694, means Discipline to Comply with Safety Regulation (X variable) has strong correlation to Forklift Operators’ Safety (Y variable). The value of coefficient determinant equals to 75.58%, this means contribution of Discipline to Comply with Safety Regulation in forklift operation increases work safety by 75.58%.  The hypotheses testing shows t stat = 9.9514 > t table = 1.6938.  This suggests that there is a significant correlation between Discipline to Comply with Safety Regulation to Forklift Operators’ Safety at PT. YCH Cibitung.
