Abstract

Introduction: Osteopenia is a condition which means the bone mineral density (BMD/BoneMineral Density) is lower than the normal peak BMD but not low enough to be classified as osteoporosis.Risk factors that can lead to osteopenia are smoking, drinking softdrinks, less activity, dieting,rarely affected sun and drinking alcohol. This study aimed to identify the risk factors of asteopenia onadolesences. Method: The study design used descriptive. The sample used was a high school studentMagetan total of 100 respondents were collected by random sampling. Data were collected withquestionniare and analyzed with procentage. Result: From the results of a study of 100 respondents wasobtained from less activity factors 5 respondents (5%), rarely exposed to sunlight obtained 32 respondents(32%), dieting factor obtained 34 respondents (34%) smoke got 49 respondents (49%), drinkalcohol obtained 18 respondents (18%),and drink softdrink obtained 40 respondents (40%) at risk forosteopenia. Discussion: From the results it can be concluded that smoking is the highest risk factor inthe incidence of osteopenia among adolescent. Nicotine contained in cigarettes can reduce absobsicalcium in the bones and cause a decrease in bone density. For any subsequent researchers are expectedto conduct research about the relationship of smoking with risk factors for adolescent osteopenia .

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by blood glucose levels than normal and impaired metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins caused by insulin deficiency relative or absolute. Chronic complications that often occur in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus is diabetic foot. The purposed of this study was to analyzed the risk factors of chronic complications (diabetic foot) in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. The design of this research was descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. This study will be conducted in the Medical Practitioners Prolanis of Ponorogo to 75 patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus using questionnaire and observation. The result showed that only a visual impairment factors that significantly influence the incidence of diabetic foot, with p value (Chi Square) 0.119, and OR: 4. Knowing the risk factors that most influence on the incidence of chronic complications (diabetic foot) in patients with Type 2 diabetes can be a non-pharmacological preventive measures that can prevent diabetic foot are at risk of disability due to amputation and death.

Abstract

Diabetes is one of the largest global health emergencies of the 21 century. Each year more and more people live with this condition, which can result in life-changing complications. (IDF Atlas, 2015). Diabetes Mellitus (DM) if uncontrolled can cause acute and chronic complications that result in disability and even death. Compliance in foot care has an important role in the therapeutic management of patients with DM. The purpose of this study was to identify dominan factors affecting the compliance of patients Type 2 DM to foot care. Method: The research design was correlations with cross sectional approach, conducted on 77 patients with Type 2 DM that managed by Prolanis in Ponorogo. Result: The results showed that perception of seriousness (p value 0.014), and the perception of benefits (p value 0.025) significantly influence the compliance of patients with Type 2 DM to foot care (α = 0.05). Conclusions: Knowing the dominant factors that influence patient compliance with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in doing foot care can become a non-pharmacological preventive measures to prevent the risk of developing diabetic foot amputation due to disability and death in DM client.

Abstract

Foot care behavior is a part of primary prevention efforts in diabetic foot management. Foot care aims to prevent the occurence of chronic complications in the form of diabetic neuropathy or the death of nerves of the feet so that it can cause diabetic foot ulcers. This research aims to analyze the relationship between foot care behavior and the quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus patients at RSU Muhammadiyah and Klinik Rulia Medika Ponorogo. The research design used is a correlation study. The population in this study were Diabetes Mellitus patients at RSU Muhammadiyah and Klinik Rulia Medika Ponorogo, totalling 41 patients. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample size of 41 patients. The data were collected with foot care behavior questionnaire and quality of life questionaire (WHOQoL-BREF). Data were analyzed using Chi-Square test using application SPSS. The results showed that the majority of patients had positive foot care behavior as many as 27 patients (65,9%), and 22 patients (53,7%) high quality of life and 19 patients (46,3%) medium quality of life. From this research, it was found that a significant value was 0,020 (α 0,05) so that there was a relationship between foot care behavior and the quality of life in Diabetes Melitus patients at RSU Muhammadiyah and Klinik Rulia Medika Ponorogo. Positive behavior is needed in foot care so that the risk of complications can be minimized, especially the risk of diabetic foot ulcers which will also have an impact on the quality of life in patients with Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Covid 19 adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2 (SARSCOV-2)(Singhal, 2020). Selama pandemi covid-19, kondisi panti asuhan tepat untuk dijadikan sasaran kegiatan pengabdian jika ditinjau dari fasilitas dan kenyamanan yang berbeda dengan kehidupan di rumah. Keadaan inilah yang mengakibatkan rentan terhadap permasalahan kesehatan. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakan ini adalah edukasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kepatuhan mitra dalam pencegahan penularan Covid 19. Kegiatan Program Pengabdian Masyarakat dilaksanakan oleh tim adalah pemberian edukasi dan pelatihan serta pemberian sarana dan prasarana cuci tangan dalam pencegahan Covid 19 di lingkungan panti. Edukasi yang telah diberikan pada kegiatan tersebut adalah materi tentang Covid 19, penerapan 6M dalam pencegahan penularan Covid 19, PHBS masa pandemic di panti asuhan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan kepada anak-anak di LKSA Payamuba adalah cara cuci tangan yang benar dan cara penggunaan serta pengelolaan limbah masker sekali pakai. Hasil dari edukasi dan pelatihan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan anak panti tentang Covid 19 mulai pengertian, epidemiologi, penyebab, tanda gejala, pencegahan penularaan dan penanganan, terciptanya perilaku 6M dalam mencegah penularan Covid 19, tersedianya sarana kesehatan dalam pencegahan Covid 19 Kata kunci: Pencegahan, Covid 19, 6M, Panti Asuhan  ABSTRACT Covid 19 disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2 (SARSCOV-2) (Singhal, 2020). During the COVID-19 pandemic, the condition of the orphanage was suitable to be the target of community service activities when viewed from the facilities and comforts that were different from life at home. This situation makes them vulnerable to health problems. The method of this community service activity is education to increase the knowledge and compliance of partners in preventing the transmission of Covid 19. Community Service Program activities carried out by the team are providing education and training as well as providing facilities and infrastructure for hand washing in preventing Covid 19 in the orphanage environment. The education that has been given in these activities is 1). Covid 19, 2). Implementation of 6M in preventing the transmission of Covid 19, 3). PHBS during the pandemic at the orphanage. The training carried out to children at LKSA Payamuba is how to wash hands properly and how to use and manage single-use mask waste. The results of this education and training are increasing knowledge of orphanage children about Covid 19 starting from understanding, epidemiology, causes, signs and symptoms, prevention of transmission and treatment, creation of 6M behavior in preventing transmission of Covid 19, availability of health facilities in preventing Covid 19. Keywords: Prevention, Covid 19, 6M, orphanage

Abstract

The behavior of the fluid control in hemodialysis patients can determine the success of hemodialysis therapy. Hemodialysis patients who do not abide by controlling the fluid can develop complications such as congestive heart failure. This study aimed to identify the behavior of hemodialysis patients in the control of body fluids in the Hemodialysis Dr. Harjono Ponorogo General Hospitals. The design used is descriptive with a population of 250 hemodialysis patients in Dr. Harjono Ponorogo General Hospitals. Total sample of 38 respondents to the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data Collection using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using T-Score categories of good and bad behavior. From The study, of 38 respondents we obtained 20 respondents (52.63%) had a bad behavior and 18 respondents (47.36%) had good behavior. The behavior of the fluid control in hemodialysis patients can be improved by providing better support from health professionals and families of patients during hemodialysis and self-efficacy training. Recommendations for further research conduct research on "The Relationship Behavior In Hemodialysis Patients With Body Fluids Controls Risk of Complications.

Abstract

AbstractThe obedience of consuming nutritious food is very important for post surgery patients to accelerate effectiveness of individual and group healt education with compliance level of nutrition intake in patient post minor operation in sugery poly hospital Harjono Ponorogo.The design of this research is descriptive. population the whole patients of post surgery in the surgery poly of Harjono Ponorogo Hospital. The total sample in the research 20 respondent. The technique sampling used purposive sampling conducted on 10 April-14 July 2017. The data collection used questionnaire, data displayed of percentage. The research result obedience of the nutrition intake of minor post surgery patient who were given individual education there p= 0,0250,05, who were given group education there p= 0,1020,05. The effectiveness of individual end group health education whit adherence levels of nutrition intakein minor post operation patient was 0,3530,05 adherence to nutrition intake given individual health education was on more effective than adherence to nutrition intake provided by group healt education.The research result need the promotive efforts from the healt workerssuch as do illumination, health education or spread the health leaflet containing about the intake of nutrition after surgery.Key words: Obedience, Nutrition Post Surgery, at Surgery Poly Hospital Harjono AbstrakKepatuhan mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi penting bagi pasien post operasi untuk mempercepat penyembuhan luka dan mencegah adanya komplikasi luka. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahuiefektivitas pendidikan kesehatan individu dan kelompok dengan tingkat kepatuhan asupan gizi pada pasien post operasi minor, di poli bedah RSUD Dr. Harjono Ponorogo.Desain penelitian deskriptif.Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pasien post operasi minor di poli bedah RSUD Dr. Harjono Ponorogo. Total sampel penelitian ini 20 responden. Tehnik sampling menggunakan Purposive Sampling dilakukan pada tanggal 10 April-14 Juli 2017.Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, data ditampilkan dengan prosentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kepatuhan asupan gizi pasien post operasi minor yang diberikan pendidikan secara individu terdapat p= 0,0250,05, yang diberikan pendidikan secara kelompok terdapat p= 0,1020,05. Efektivitas pendidikan kesehatan individu dan kelompok dengan tingkat kepatuhan asupan gizi pada pasien post operasi minor terdapat p= 0,3530,05 kepatuhan asupan gizi yang diberikan pendidikan kesehatan secara individu tidak lebih efektif dibandingkan kepatuhan asupan gizi yang diberikan pendidikan kesehatan secara kelompok.Hasil penelitian perlu adanya upaya promotif dari petugas kesehatan seperti melakukan penyuluhan, pendidikan kesehatan maupun penyebaran leaflet yang berisi tentang asupan gizi setelah operasi.Kata kunci: Kepatuhan, Gizi post operasi, di Poli Bedah RSUD Dr. Harjono

Abstract

Kejang demam merupakan gangguan yang terjadi akibat adanya peningkatan suhu tubuh pada anak sehingga anak atau bayi mengalami kejang. Bayi mengalami kejang demam sangat berisiko jatuh karena usia yang rawan, maka dari itu perlu kesadaran orangtua untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas yang ada diruangan dengan baik agar bayi tidak mengalami jatuh. Risiko jatuh yang terjadi  pada bayi bisa mengakibatkan cidera serius dan paling fatal yaitu kematian.Hasil pengkajian didapatkan bahwa keadaan umum bayi tampak lemah serta didampingi oleh keluarganya, handrill dan pengunci roda pada bad anak belum terpasang, selain itu sebelumnya bayi memiliki riwayat jatuh dari tempat tidur ketika dirumah. Tindakan keperawatan yang dilakukan antara lain adalah mengidentifikasi faktor lingkungan yang bisa menyebabkan jatuh, menghitung skala risiko jatuh menggunakan Humpty Dumpty Scale, memastikan roda dan handrill terpasang serta edukasi pencegahan risiko jatuh. Diharapkan asuhan keperawatan ini mampu menjadi acuan pembelajaran untuk melakukan asuhan keperawatan sehingga mampu mencegah kejadian kejang demam serta risiko jatuh pada bayi.
