Abstract

This study aims at developing a kinetics model of changes in tomatoes quality during storage. Samples were stored at temperature of 6, 15, and 28 °C. Quality parameters measured were total carotene, citric acid, and vitamin C. On the development of kinetic models of quality parameter changes the k values of total carotenoids, citric acid, and vitamin C were 0.075, -0.008, and 0.042 at 6 °C, 0.056, -0.029, and 0.049 at 28 °C, as well as 0.125, -0.039, dan 0.044 at 28 °C, respectively. Activation energy of the decrease of citric acid was 47.91 kJ/mol, whereas for total carotene and vitamin C were 17.83 kJ/mol dan 0.96 kJ/mol. The coefficient of determination (R2) of the quality content between observation and prediction were 0.70-0.96. Keywords: Kinetics, total carotene, citric acid, vitamin C, tomato

Abstract

Abstract— Indonesia is a mobile-first country where majority access the internet through mobile gadgets such as smartphone or tablet. The number of internet users in Indonesia is 88 million and continue raising. The momentum has given impact to the national trend which is called the digital economy. People in Indonesia also has seen the emergence of national sharing platforms such as Go-Jek, a startup that let us sharing the motorbike in Indonesia, as well as the concept of sharing economy startups such as Grab, Uber, and Airbnb. In Indonesia, experience economy is also raising, especially for millennials or young generation. The number of an event such as music concert, sports entertainment, and other experience or event, gradually increase year by year. According to McKinsey data in 2011, the leisure industry is expected to growth 7.5% annually. Based on the current trend such as sharing economy, digital economy, and experience economy among the young generation, a startup company, Pleasurra is taking action to innovate on leisure industry business by combining the sharing economy with experience economy through technology especially mobile application. However, Pleasurra is facing several problem in their business especially getting traction of users in their mobile application. The problem can result. In this journal, the writer will focus on marketing problem of Pleasurra. The business condition will be analyzed first by using 5’C analysis including climate, customers, company, competitors, and collaborators. After conducting the root cause analysis, the main problem is low traction of users. In order solve that, the writer propose to define go-to-market strategy. The go-to-market strategy will be proposed based on the 3V’S marketing mix model by Nirmalya Kumar. Valued customers, value proposition, and value of network. The supporting solutions such as word of mouth marketing and content marketing also will be explored further in this journal. In the end, the writer will get the right go-to-market strategy for Pleasurra mobile application. Keywords: digital economy, leisure industry, startup marketing, go-to-market, 3v’s model

Abstract

The rapid development of technologies affects the financial technology sector, especially e-money in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the determinant from intention and use behavior of financial technology (e-money) using UTAUT2 as the model. This research took place in Jabodetabek, with a total sample of 300 people as the respondents. The purposive sampling method is used as the sampling method in this study. The scale which is used in this study is the Likert scale with a range of 1-5. Data were analyzed using descriptive and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that performance expectations, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitation conditions, and habits are factors that influence the intention and use of e-money. On the other hand, hedonic motivation and price value do not affect behavioral intention. It indicates that using financial technology is a must and not depend on user motivation or the price of the technology. These results provide implications about several factors as the determinant of e-money for stakeholders to develop the strategy for e-money based on the most influential factor that affects consumers as users. While developing e-money technology, the developer should take into account factors such as performance expectations, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitation conditions, and habits.

Abstract

Hard and crunchy are specific characteristics of fried product prefered by consumer. To have texture of crunchy product being suitable with consumer taste, it is necessary to observ characteristic change of raw material and frying condition. In frying process, the changes of hardness and crunchiness characteristics of food occur. These changes are predicted caused by free water vaporization and the decrease of starch content in food. The objective of this research is to develop mathematical model of hardness and crunchiness changes as the function of water and extract content degradation. Sample of the research is jack fruit fried in the temperature of 70–100° C, duration of 15–60 minutes, and pressure of 80–90 kPa. The parameters observed are hardness and crunchiness, water and starch content before and after frying. The result showed that hardness and crunciness change as the function of water vaporization and the decrease of starch content can be used to predict hardness and crunciness of product during vacuum frying.

Abstract

One of the factors that can increase employee productivity, i.e. employee performance. Good employee performance determines the achievement of the agency's productivity. Officers with difficulty adjusting can be the stressor that will impede the process of working. The stress that negatively impacts is called distress and stress that is positively impactful is called eustress. A company needs to conduct a performance assessment on its employees. The Data is a crossection with a nominal scale, essentially using a Likert scale. Employee performance is the result employees work with following their instructions, direction, compensation, and ability. Partial hypothesis test (test-F) significance that variable Stress work discipline variables and working conflicts have a significant effect on employee performance in the economic part of Magelang Regency which stated that there is an influence on employee performance. Based on the results of data analysis in this study came the conclusion that work stress, work discipline, and work conflict jointly (simultaneous) affects employees ' performance in the economic part of Magelang regency.

Abstract

Social, economic, institutional, and cultural conditions become the basis of education and provide benefits for science to formulate the introduction of regional potential, regional designations, program development carried out by villages, and routine activities (learning, research, and community service) by students and lecturers of the Faculty of Agriculture Tidar University which has an interest in developing Sidorejo Village, Bandongan District. The research objective is to create an embryonic center for local community-based education in strengthening rural areas that are progressing efficiently, effectively, and sustainably as a form of university connectivity with the local community. This research focuses on identifying the area's potential in a careful village, with a qualitative research method using an ex post facto comparative clause through a social, ethnographic approach. The research was conducted using a purposive sampling technique consisting of village officials, community leaders, youth organizations, family empowerment and welfare, arts and culture actors, business actors, and planning faculty development planners as many as 20 respondents. The results of the study are in the form of identification findings that can be used as objects of community social mapping projections, needs, essential potential, human resource capabilities, institutions, local culture, infrastructure, economy, natural resources, and agriculture to design rural areas to become centers of local community-based education in strengthening, developing and tri dharma of higher education in the fields of agriculture, plantation, animal husbandry, fisheries, and social entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Cryptography is one of the security techniques that secure information confidentiality and information integrity while electronic transaction processing. There are three kinds of cryptograpy protocols, Symmetric Algorithms, Asymmetric (Public Key) Algorithms, and Cryptographic Protocols. Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is one of the public key encryption. ECC requires high computation for solving arithmetic operations.Finite field has important role in ECC implementation, which curve operations requires finite field. Finite field has several arithmetic operations, add, multiplication, squaring, and invers. There are many method or algorithm for each arithmetic operation. Finite field can be representation in prime field GF(p) and binary field GF(2m). There are two representation in binary field, polynomial basis and normal basis. This research presents implementation of arithmetic operation algorithms for adding, multiplication, squaring, and invers on polynomial basis with maximum key 299 bits. Besides that, this research presents the measurement of algorithm performance based on processing time and memory usage. Keywords — cryptography, elliptic curve, finite field, polynomial basis, binary field
