Abstract

This study discusses plyometric exercises in improving the long jump ability of self-development students of SMAN 1 Batang Anai. The purpose of this study was to describe the process and results of conducting plyometric exercises of 16 meetings for the long jump ability of the self-improvement students of SMAN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman. the type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The design of this study is one group pre-test-posttest design. The study population was students who participated in athletic self-development activities at SMAN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman, amounting to 16 people. The sampling technique in this study used a Census Sampling of 16 people. The exercises are given 4 times per week for 16 meetings. The instrument used is the long jump. Data analysis using t-test. Based on the results of research conducted it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of plyometric exercises on increasing the ability of long jump self-development students of SMAN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman, where tcount = 3.64> ttable = 1.74. The average long jump ability of a student's initial test is 3.64 and the average long jump ability of a student's final test is 4.15.

Abstract

Problem in this study is the lack of ability Free throw athletes sons SMA N 12 Padang. The variables in this study are training plyometrics andability free throw. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect oftraining plyometrics on the improvement of theability of free throw male athletes at SMA N 12 Padang. This type of research is a quasi-experimental that aims to see the effect oftraining plyometrics on improvingability Freethrow's. The population in this study were all basketball athletes at SMA N 12 Padang totaling 30 people. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, namely male athletes of SMA N 12 Padang as many as 10 people. To obtain research data, theability test was used Free throw. The data obtained were analyzed by using the t test. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known thatexercise plyometrics thishas a significant effect on increasing the ability of free throws. Where theaverage of pre-test theability free throw was 1.9, while the post test increased to 4.1. Then obtained the mean difference test (t test) of tcount 7.09 while ttable 2.26 with a significant level α = 0.05 and n = 10, then tcount > ttable (7.09> 2.26), it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the form oftraining plyometrics on the improvement ofability free throw in male basketball athletes at SMA N 12 Padang.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that Vo2Max is still low due to lack of aerobic endurance and one of the exercises for aerobic endurance to improve Vo2Max is circuit training. The independent variable in this study is circuit training, and the dependent variable in this study is the increase in Vo2Max. The purpose of this study was to see the extent of the effect of circuit training on the increase in Vo2Max of basketball players at SMA Negeri 14 Padang City. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all basketball players at SMA Negeri 14 Kota Padang who actively participated in training activities in 2020 as many as 58 people. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique, so the number of samples in this study were 14 male players in class XI SMA. Negeri 14 Padang City. The research instrument was an increase in Vo2Max for basketball players at SMA Negeri 14 Padang City. The study was conducted in July-August 2020, the data analysis technique in this study used the t test. Based on the results of research and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the training circuit training method on the increase in Vo2Max basketball players at SMA Negeri 14 Padang City, this is evidenced by the tcount of 10.39 while the t table is 1.77 with a significant level of α = 0 , 05.

Abstract

This study’s main issue was lack of short passing skill for Sarilamak United Soccer School player U12. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of exercise models toward of soccer short passing skill increased for Sarilamak United Soccer School player U12. Type of this research was quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The population for this study were 63 player. All of twelve sample was determined by purposive sampling technique. The short pass test was an instrument test for this study with t-test data analysis technique. The Hypotesis test discovered that Ho declined and Ha accepted. Where tcount (4,72) was higher than ttable (2,20). The result of average comparison between pre-test (102,1) and post-test (110,3) indicated that exercise models were able to gave an improvement about 7,44%. In summary, there was a significant effect from giving the exercise models toward of soccer short passing skill increased for Sarilamak United Soccer School player U12.
