Abstract

Berdasarkan data evaluasi terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan gerak tari gaya Malangan masih sangat rendah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi Seni Tari semester 4 Universitas Negeri Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan pencantrikan terbimbing yang menggunakan media pembelajaran audio visual sebagai metode pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan meningkatkan pula prestasi hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Repertoar I. Media audio visual tersebut berisi ragam-ragam gerak dari materi tariannya.   Audio-Visual Learning Method od Guided Apprenticeship   Abstract Based on an evaluative data conducted, it showed that students’ ability in understanding and mastering Malay dancing style is still inadequate. The research method used Action Research in two cycles. The subject of research was the fourth semester students of Dancing program at Malang State University. The result showed that the audio-visual learning method of guided apprenticeship could increase the students’ learning interest as well as improve their achievement in Repertoar I course. Abstract

Pengemasan bahan ajar adalah mengemas materi menjadi lebih baik, dengan cara menjadikan ringkas. Materi yang dikembangkan terdapat pada mata kuliah Vokasi Tari Malang yaitu salah satu nama mata kuliah di Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Tari-UM yang berisi tentang  materi tari topeng Malang milik Karimun (Alm). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan wujud bahan ajar mata kuliah Vokasi Tari Malang dan mengetahui keefektifan bahan ajar setelah diterapkan kepada mahasiswa.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dan uji keefektifan menggunakan uji-t dengan program SPSS 12. Hasil penelitian ini adalah berupa buku ajar mata kuliah Vokasi Tari Malang yang berisi petunjuk pembelajar, silabus, RPP, materi, rangkuman dan evaluasi yang dilengkapi dengan VCD pembelajaran. Uji coba keefektifan menunjukan hasil bahwa dari segi produk masuk kategori yang sangat baik sehingga layak digunakan. The packaging of teaching material can be done by adapting the available teaching material and repackaging them in a more practical form. The teaching material developed in this study is Tari Topeng Malangan originally created by (the late) Karimun, which is taught as Vokasi Tari Malang subject in Dance Department of Faculty of Art and Languages, Malang State University. The aim of this research and development study is to produce a teaching material for Vokasi Tari Malang subject and also to find out the effectiveness of the material after being applied to students. This research is a developmental research and an effectiveness test by using t-test provided from SPSS 12. The final products of the teaching material is in the form of teaching textbook for Vokasi Tari Malang, which consist of a syllabi, teaching guide, lesson plans, the material for the teaching, the summary of the material, the teaching assessment and also a tutorial VCD. The t-test showed that the teaching material is categorized as a good teaching material to use in teaching.

Abstract

Masked performance depicting various characters in Panji stories from Java is called Mask Puppet Dance-Drama (Dramatari Wayang Topeng or DWT for short). Panji stories consist of a collection of stories from the Kediri Kingdom themed heroism and love with Panji Asmarabangun and Dewi Sekartaji as the main characters. As the nation's cultural successor, many younger generations have not known the DWT performance. This can threaten the preservation of DWT as one of the nation's cultural heritages to be preserved. This study aimed to examine the process of the DWT inheritance in Asmarabangun Mask Art Gallery (Padepokan Seni Topeng Asmarabangun) through oral tradition. This research was based on the theory of social construction in which a process of meaning done by each individual to himself consists of the process of externalization, internalization, and objectivization. This study used a qualitative method. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The data were analyzed using Milles & Huberman's theory of data reduction, presentation and verification. The result of data analysis shows that oral tradition in DWT inheritance process occurs institutionally which requires a process of meaning making by every individual to himself which consists of externalization, internalization and objectivization process. In the process, people can learn about the material either directly or indirectly. People get information and interact to achieve certain goals. The tradition is inherited through the process of seeing, listening, and doing.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini sebagai meningkatkan kompetensi narapidana melalui produksi batik gepyok. Selain itu persiapan dalam membangun wirausaha, mengingat mantan narapidana kurang mendapatkan kepercayaan dari masyarakat. Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIa Malang sebagai lembaga pembinaan sosial narapidana untuk perempuan. Peserta pelatihan ini berjumlah 25 narpidana dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melatih narapidana di klas IIa Malang melalui keterampilan batik gepyok. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari metode ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, praktik usaha dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai pembekalan strategi pengelolahan kewirausahaan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan (1) memberikan pengetahuan baru dan keterampilan baru terkait batik gepyok, (2) menumbuhkembangkan minat warga binaan dalam merancang wirausaha baru pada bidang batik gepyok, (3) memberikan pengalaman secara nyata dalam implementasi aspek-aspek terkait manajemen usaha batik gepyok, dan (4) memberikan semangat motivasi dalam merancang kewirausahaan mandiri.

Abstract

The presentation structure of “Lahire Naga Tahun” in Wayang Topeng Malang theatrical dance Dramatari Wayang Topeng shows the diversity of characters, the variety of movements, the diversity of costumes, and the diversity of stories. Dramatari Wayang Topeng show is taken from the Panji story, which is oral literature. 17 stories have been developed by the puppeteers at Padepokan Asmara Bangun, Malang Regency. There is one story that is only performed on certain days, namely the month of Sura, which is the month of reckoning Javanese or Javanese new year, which is entitled Lahire Naga Tahun. The purpose of this research is to describe the presentation structure of "Lahire Naga Tahun" in the Malang mask puppet show. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the Lahire Naga Tahun story is based on the results of the development by the puppeteers consisting of 4 episodes, namely (1) Sekartaji Palsu (Fake Sekartaji), (2) Lahire Panji Laras (the birth of Panji Laras), (3) Sayembara Adu Jago (Adu Jago Competition), and (4) Lahire Naga Tahun (the birth of Naga Tahun). The four episodes are presented consecutively with a show time of approximately 2 hours. Each episode contains several scenes. The Sekartaji Palsu episode consists of 4 scenes, namely Partapan, Kingdom of Rancong Kencana, Jenggala Soldier and Keputren. The Lahire Panji Laras episode consists of 2 stages, namely Kaputren and Lolaras. The Sayembara Adu Jago consists of 2 steps, namely Karang Pradesan and Alun-Alun. The Lahire Naga Tahun episode consists of 2 scenes, namely Alun-Alun and Alas.Keywords: activity oriented design, Tari Daerah MalangStruktur penyajian “Lahire Naga Tahun” pada pertunjukan dramatari Wayang Topeng MalangPertunjukan dramatari Wayang Topeng menunjukan keragaman karakter tokoh, keragaman gerak, keragaman kostum dan keragaman cerita.  Cerita dalam pertunjukan dramatari Wayang Topeng Malang terinspirasi dari cerita Panji yang merupakan sastra lisan. Terdapat 17 cerita yang sudah dikembangkan oleh dalang di Padepokan Asmara Bangun Kabupaten Malang. Terdapat salah satu cerita yang hanya di pertunjukan pada hari tertentu saja yaitu bulan Sura yang merupakan bulan penghitungan Jawa atau tahun baru Jawa yaitu berjudul Lahire Naga Tahun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan struktur penyajian “Lahire Naga Tahun” dalam pertunjukan Wayang Topeng Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskripstif. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita Lahire Naga Tahun berdasarkan hasil pengembangan oleh Dalang terdiri dari 4 episode yaitu (1) Sekartaji Palsu, (2) Lahire Panji Laras, (3) Sayembara Adu Jago, dan (4) Lahire Naga Tahun. Keempat episode tersebut disajikan secara berurutan dengan waktu pertunjukan kurang lebih 2 jam. Setiap episode terdapat beberapa adegan. Episode Sekartaji Palsu terdiri dari 4 adegan yaitu Partapan, Kerajaan Rancong Kencana, Prajurit Jenggala dan Keputren. Episode Lahire Panji Laras terdiri dari 2 adegan yaitu Kaputren dan Lolaras. Sayembara Adu Jago terdiri dari 2 adegan yaitu Karang Pradesan dan Alun-Alun. Abstract

The purpose of implementing this self-make-up training is to be skilled at making up oneself for daily activities and official activities. The training activity is carried out in 2 stages, namely, (1) giving make-up material about the concepts, techniques, and tools that are used for make-up, (2) practicing daily make-up is by using simple make-up tools. The methods that are used in this service activity are lectures, demonstrations, and practices. The method is used to emphasizes the involvement of PKK women in all series of activities. The results of the self-make-up training which was attended by 29 PKK women were the improvement of the competence or skills of women in Pulungdowo Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, based on the results of a survey conducted via google form before training and after training, showing significant changes. Before the training, approximately 15 participants answered that they disagree with the statement that PKK women were able to do self-make-up. While for the survey results after the training activities, approximately 20 PKK women answered agreeing about the statement that make-up training activities can improve their own skills and make up for others. Then it can apply it in everyday life.

Abstract

The purpose of the PKM activity is to increase students' knowledge of the curriculum vitae as an important document that must be prepared when entering the world of work. It is hoped that with this curriculum vitae design training, students can have mature readiness when entering the world of work and reduce the unemployment rate. The method used is online training through zoom meetings with four stages of implementation (1) Explanation of curriculum vitae material, (2) Writing Biodata, (3) Searching for Design References, (4) Design and Improvement Process. The results obtained in this activity are an increase in knowledge about the curriculum vitae in students and the process of making it using the Adobe Illustrator application which can be seen from the results of the curriculum vitae designs that are designed.
