Abstract

Mahogany has fast growth and produces hard mahogany used for furniture. An important factor determining the success of mahogany planting is the availability of quality seeds. For that, the things to note are the availability of nutrients and water sufficient for the growth of seedlings. In the fulfillment of seedling needs, used NPK compound fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to know the growth of mahogany seedlings at various doses of NPK compound fertilizer. The research method used was Randomized Complete Design (RAL) consisting of four treatments, namely P0 = Soil (control), P1 = Soil + NPK fertilizer with dose (5 g), P2 = Soil + NPK fertilizer with dose (10 g) and P3 = Soil + NPK fertilizer with dose (15 g). Each treatment is repeated five times so that it needs 20 seeds of samples, each polybag is one mahogany. The data obtained based on the observed results were analyzed by using the analysis of the variety and treatment that had real or very real effect tested further by using the Honest Different Test (BNJ) at the level (5%). The result of this research shows that the dosage of NPK fertilizer has significant effect on all parameters, that is the height of seedlings, the stem diameter, the leaf number, the wet weight of the seedlings and the dry weight of the seedlings. Soil treatment + NPK fertilizer with dose (15 g) (P3) gave the best influence to the growth of mahogany seedlings in almost all observed parameters, where the average height increase of seedlings, ie 2.40 mm, stem diameter increase, ie 1.21 cm, the increase of leaf number, that is 3.03 strands, wet weight of seedlings, that is 2.75 g and dry weight of seedlings is 2.15 gr.

Abstract

Each treatment was repeated five times requiring 20 seedlings of 20 experimental samples, each polybag containing one mahogany seedling. The data used are the results of the analysis using in-depth or very realistic analysis and analysis using the Honest Real Difference Test (BNJ) at the level (5%). The results showed that the dose of NP fertilizer was very significant for all parameters, namely seedling height increase, stem diameter increase, number of leaves, seedling wet weight and seedling dry weight. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah strategi REAP memberikan hasil belajar yang berbeda atau tidak dalam pengajaran pemahaman membaca pada teks naratif untuk  siswa kelas  sebelas MAN Mempawah. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan strategi REAP untuk pengajaran pemahaman membaca. Experimen semu dengan rancangan kelompok non-equivalent digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sample penelitian ini adalah siswa dari kelas XI Ilmu Sosial 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan  siswa dari kelas XI Ilmu Sosial 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dalam pemahaman membaca berbeda setelah menerapkan strategi REAP. Hal ini di tunjukan oleh selisih skor antara pretest and posttest pada kelompok eksperimen, yaitu sebesar (11.59), lebih tinggi dari selisih skor antara pretest dan posttest pada kelompok kontrol, yaitu sebesar (6.37). Kefektifan strategi ini juga ditunjukan oleh efek size formula ( 0.98, yang tergolong mempunyai efek yang sedang. Kata Kunci : Membaca, Teks Naratif, Strategi REAP Abstract: This research aims to find out whether REAP strategy gives difference learning achievement or not for teaching reading comprehension on narrative text to the eleventh grade students of MAN Mempawah. It was also to know the effectiveness of using REAP Strategy for teaching reading comprehension. A quasi experimental with non-equivalent group design is used. The samples of this research were students of XI Social Sciences class 1 as experimental group and others of XI Social Sciences class 2 as the control group.  The result of data analysis showed that the students’ achievements in reading comprehension are different after using REAP strategy. It showed by the interval score between the pretest and posttest in experimental group (11.59) was higher than the interval score between pretest and posttest in control group (6.37). This strategy was also proved effective, showed by the effect size value ( 0.98, qualified as having moderate effect.   Key Words: Reading, Narrative Text, REAP Strategy

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan  melalui media kartu kata pada Kelompok  Usia 5 - 6 Tahun di PAUD Laskar Pelangi  Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan metode sentra pembelajaran, sentra yang peneliti gunakan adalah sentra persiapan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 28 orang anak  terdiri dari 14 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan secara umum pada perencanaan pembelajaran dalam Peningkatan Kemampuan  Membaca Permulaan Melalui Media Kartu Kata Pada Kelompok  Usia 5 – 6  Tahun Di Paud Laskar Pelangi  Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Namun disarankan kepada guru-guru sebaiknya mengajarkan membaca permulaan sebaiknya dilakukan dengan cara menyenangkan dan disesuaikan berdasarkan tahapan  umur atau kemampuan anak  sehingga anak menjalaninya dalam keadaan senang dan tidak tertekan. Kata kunci : membaca, metode, kartu kata Abstract : This study aims to improve the reading skills through the medium of flash cards beginning at age group 5-6 years in early childhood Rainbow Warriors Kubu Raya district. The research method used was Classroom Action Research method of learning centers, centers that researchers use is the center of preparation. The subjects were 28 in total consists of 14 children boy and 14 girl. The results of data analysis showed that there was a general increase in the learning plan in Beginning Reading Upgrades Through Media flash cards In Age Group 5-6 Years In early childhood Rainbow Warriors Kubu Raya District, however advised the teachers should teach beginning reading should be done by fun and adjusted based on the stage of the age or ability of the child so that the child live in a state of happy and not depressed.
