Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan pembelajaran daring di Universitas Sriwijaya. Pelaksanaan kebijakan ini dengan studi pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam pembangunan karakter. Implementasi kebijakan dilaksanakan untuk melihat berbagai nilai-nilai karakter mahasiswa yang muncul saat pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan metode permainan, mengingat masih terjadinya pandemic COVID-19 di Indonesia maka pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan secara daring. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus, yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan analisis data. Kemudian. penelitian yang dilakukan dengan observasi pada pembelajaran Pkn Mahasiswa Jurusan Pertenakan di UPT-MPK Universitas Sriwijaya. secara online. Permasalahan utama akibat covid-19 sehingga pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring akibatnya perlu inovasi dan metode pembelajaran yang menarik sehingga pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menarik dan asik dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pembelajaran karakter yang dilakukan menimbulkan berbagai karakter yang mucul saat awal perkuliahan daring dari awal pertemuan 1 sampai ke 16 kali pertemuan setelah Implementasi kebijakan pembelajaran daring dikeluarkan serta metode pembelajaran berbasis permainan menimbulkan pembangunan karakter mahasiswa meningkat berdasarkan hasil, bahasa, dan observasi yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan data yang ada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teori Edward III untuk menjawab berbagai permasalahan tersebut.

Abstract

The main objective of this community service is to teach religious character building to children in Lorok Village, Ogan Ilir Regency's Kindergarten/TPA. The method used, which included learning while playing with a song balloon game, ranking one, and a battle of wits, focused on civic education and the development of religious character. The results of this activity include an increase in students' religious character, as evidenced by the results of each teacher's assessment while accompanying the contestants, as well as a high level of enthusiasm among students for learning while playing, implying that this game method provides learning innovation for teachers.

Abstract

Children are assumed to be innocent entities and have not much experience. However, the emergence of the phenomenon of children as perpetrators of crimes (children in conflict with the law/CICL) is contradictory to this assumption. This study explores and examines one aspect of the life of the child perpetrator of this crime, namely the family aspect as the primary habitus. This study used qualitative research methods by interviewing CICL at the Palembang Special Children’s Correctional Institution and Correctional Institution of Kayuagung, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, as well as several related figures. Data were collected by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is built from the ground up, linearly and hierarchically. In line with the focus of the study, the concept used in this study is the primary habitus, which is part of the habitus concept of Bourdieu. The primary habitus is the habitus that the agent has since childhood, which is the basis for forming other (secondary) habitus. The research results related to primary habitus in CICL show that the family is not present as a whole in the process of CICL growth and development and the application of ineffective parenting. Complete absence of the family, shown to the family by the presence of, 1). CICL with separated parents, 2). CICL with one or both parents died, 3). CICL has an intact family but is not fully present in the child’s growth and development process. Meanwhile, poor parenting is shown through 1). Parenting with violence, 2). CICL’s parents and close people have not become positive role models, and 3). Parents do not/less comprehensively provide knowledge and understanding regarding good and bad deeds. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the family institution as a primary institution and an institution of value inheritance through socialization and education between generations. The family can be the main basis for passing down the values ​​of anti-violence and crime in supporting efforts to minimize crime habitus.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how social capital is used to achieve high-quality education at SMAN Sumatra Selatan. This was a descriptive qualitative study with data collected through participant observation. The researcher was involved directly as well as witnessing the research process and conducting in-depth interviews with ten informants. The Miles and Huberman's were applied in the data analysis. The study's findings revealed the presence of social capital in SMAN Sumatra Selatan in the form of trust, networks, and social norms. Cooperation between the Government of the Province of South Sumatra and the Putera Sampoerna Foundation, as well as cooperation with companies, shown trust. The social network formed as a result of the partnership between SMAN Sumatra Selatan and the mass media, as well as education supporting companies. The social norms in the school were represented by four exceptional programs: academic programs, lifetime learning programs, the pathway to leadership programs, and boarding education programs. This school's social capital components included communicating with one another, working together, influencing one another, and being related to one another. They resulted in a structure of social relations that culminated in a high-quality school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kehidupan anak berkonflik dengan hukum (ABH/anak pelaku tindak kejahatan) pada aspek kehidupan mereka dari latar belakang ekonomi, lingkungan sosial, dan peer group dominasi maskulin. Studi ini menganalisis fokus kajian melalui elaborasi konsep penting dari Bourdieu, seperti habitus primer sekunder, doxa, heterodoxa, kapital, arena, dan dominasi maskulin. Studi kualitatif ini menggali data dari informan ABH dan beberapa petugas di LPKA Palembang. Pengumpulan Data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Sementara, analisis data secara interaktif melalui reduksi, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Latar belakang ekonomi keluarga ABH sebagian besar berasal dari kelas sosial bawah dan lingkungan kurang mendukung dalam pengembangan karakter positif ABH. Posisi habitus primer ABH ini merupakan lingkungan negatif. Dalam hal ini, lingkungan sosial dan peer group menjadi referensi dalam proses pembentukan identitas sebagai habitus sekunder. Perilaku tindak kejahatan merupakan perwujudan heterodoxa ABH di luar arena mainstream (doxa). Lingkungan sosial dan peer group menjadi kapital sosial dan kapital budaya bagi ABH dalam arena kejahatan. Perspektif Bourdieu terkait gender pada masalah ini adalah konteks dominasi maskulin yang kuat. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan mayoritas ABH laki-laki. Sementara, perempuan dan anak perempuan lebih terlihat sebagai korban. [The study focuses on exploring the children in conflict with the law (ABH) in several aspects. The family Background is under economic Problems, a negative social environment, Poor peer groups, and masculine domination. The study analyzes the elaboration concepts from Bourdieu, such as primary and secondary habitus, doxa, heterodox, capital, arena, and masculine domination. The study takes from extracting data with informants such as ABH and several officers at LPKA Palembang. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out interactively, through reduction, data display, and concluding. ABH's family background is an economic poor background, the lower social classes, the environment habitus does not support ABH, and the social peer groups become their references in the process of performing identity as a secondary habitus. Bourdieu's perspective regarding gender sees in the masculine dominance problem. The result of the study shows the majority of ABH are male. Meanwhile, the women and girls are the victims of patrilineal culture.]

Abstract

This activity aims to internalize the concept of educational sociology theory and strengthen the socio-cultural-educational relationship between the community and the school. This community service activity was carried out in three stages: pre-test, counseling, and post-test. The success of this community service activity can be measured from two achievements, including all series of community service events that went well and smoothly without hindrance, and sociology and school committee materials that were well received and understood by service participants. In addition, the pre-test and post-test results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and experience regarding the concept and theory of school committees.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini adalah fokus kepada Penguatan Pengelolaan BUMDes Semarak Berseri Desa Sumber Rahayu Kecamatan Rambang Kabupaten Muara Enim. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dengan tahapan persiapan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabadian yaitu lemahnya pengelolaan yang disebabkan karena Sumber Daya Manusia yang terbatas dan ketidakmampuan pengelola untuk berinovasi terhadap potensi yanga ada.  Disamping itu kepengurusan BUMDes yang sering berganti menjadi salah satu penghambat untuk menjalankan BUMDes menjadi lebih baik hal ini disebabkan proses adminstrasi yang cukup lambat. Seharusnya proses pergantian kepengurusan disegerakan diambil alih dnegan pengurus baru. Adapun faktor lain yaitu modal yang dimiliki masih kurang. Pelatihan ini memberikan wawasan baru terkait pengelolaan BUMDes.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat skema terintegrasi ini mengambil tema tentang pendidikan politik bagi pemilih pemula menjelang pemilu 2024 di Desa Pulau Semambu, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah jumlah pemilih pemula di desa Pulau Semambu sebanyak 299 orang, dan masih membutuhkan pemahaman tentang Pendidikan politik dan urgensi pemilu. Oleh karena itu tim pengabdian masyarakat melakukan kegiatan ini dengan tujuan untuk menambah dan mengembangkan pengetahuan pemilih pemula tentang demokrasi Pancasila, partisipasi politik, pemilihan umum (pemilu) dan seputar pemilih pemula. Khalayak sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah Pemilih Pemula dengan rentang usia 17 sampai 20 tahun. Sebanyak 25 peserta hadir mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan berlangsung pada tanggal 6 Agustus 2023 bertempat di Balai Desa Pulau Semambu, kecamatan Indralaya Utara kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan menggunakan metode pemberdayaan dengan teknik pemberian pengetahuan melalui ceramah penyampaian ilmu, kemudian diskusi dan  latihan (simulasi) dan dilakukan evaluasi kegiatan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pemahaman peserta mengalami peningkatan dari 63% menjadi 85% di kategori sangat baike (meningkat sebesar 22%). Sementara kategori pemahaman dari cukup baik yang sebelum materi disampaikan ada 11% setelah materi disampaikan menjadi tidak ada kategori tersebut (hilang) dan berubah menjadi baik dan sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa materi yang disampaikan bisa meningkatkan pemahaman pemilih pemula tentang pemilu, Pendidikan politik dan partisipasi politik.This integrated scheme community service activity takes the theme of political education for beginner voters ahead of the 2024 election in Pulau Semambu Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The problem faced is that the number of beginner voters in Pulau Semambu village is 299 people, and they still need an understanding of political education and the urgency of elections. Therefore, the community service team carried out this activity to increase and develop beginner voters' knowledge about Pancasila democracy, political participation, general elections (elections), and beginner voters. The target audience in this research is beginner voters with an age range of 17 to 20 years. A total of 25 participants attended this activity. The activity occurred on August 6 2023 at the Pulau Semambu Village Hall, North Indralaya sub-district, Ogan Ilir district, South Sumatra. This community service activity uses the empowerment method with the technique of imparting knowledge through lectures, then discussions and exercises (simulations), and evaluation of activities through pre-test and post-test. The activity results showed that participants' understanding had increased from 63% to 85% in the very good category (an increase of 22%). Meanwhile, the understanding category from quite good before the material was delivered was 11% after the material was delivered to no category (disappeared) and changed to good and very good. This shows that the material can increase beginner voters' understanding of elections, political education, and political participation.
