Abstract

Along with efforts to achieve educational goals at SLB Paulus Tomohon, the application of the role of Guidance in learning is very possible because it is expected to support the achievement of learning effectiveness and productivity. Regrettably, however, it seems that the implementation of the Guidance and Counseling role is still receiving less attention. In learning, teaching and providing skills training is a top priority, while the task of guiding is still often neglected, teachers have not realized the importance of the role of guidance as an optimal supporter of learning. Starting from this problem, the purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of counseling guidance in overcoming the problems of mentally retarded students in the classroom. The results of the study show that: The management of the guidance service program at SLB Paulus Tomohon has not been implemented properly starting from planning, program preparation, to its evaluation. There has not been any visible effort to implement it, thus requiring the implementation of guidance services to be incidental. The implementation process is carried out with a situational and conditional approach, taking into account the problems or difficulties that appear in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze, design and develop a Jigsaw and STAD-based Coopreative Learning Model based on HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). The research method is using a quantitative approach with the experimental method. Subjects and objects of research are lecturers and students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Education, Manado State University. Data was collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation as well as literature study. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data regarding the problems faced by teachers in schools. The type of research used in this research is library research or library research, namely research conducted through collecting data or scientific writings that aim at research objects or data collection that is library in nature, or studies that are carried out to solve a problem that basically rests on on a critical and in-depth review of relevant library materials. The results of the study show that the teacher is a figure who is a role model in all matters, both explicit and implied behavior, so that Counseling Guidance really functions as a guide for students to lead them to be the best. In addition to directing the goals of good students, Counseling is also very helpful for educators who are not diligent enough to be diligent, who experience difficulties in being disciplined, who experience boredom due to work routines will find a way full of benefits and enthusiasm, educators who are less democratic will become democratic which in the end with Counseling Guidance makes it directed in all matters to determine the solution.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational research methods. Correlational research is a study to determine the relationship or influence between the variables studied. The sample in the study was 40 students of class XI SMA Negeri 3 Tondano. Data collection techniques in this study used an understanding questionnaire, further study, interviews, and documentation as supporting techniques. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is an influence on the competence of counseling teachers in carrying out group guidance at SMA Negeri 3 Tondano. Based on the research data and the results of the analysis carried out, it was found that the significance value was 0.000 <0.05, indicating that the counseling guidance teacher competence variable (X) had an effect on the group guidance implementation variable at SMA Negeri 3 Tondano (Y) while based on the results of the test- t obtained t value of 8.205 > t table 2.058. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the counseling teacher's competence on the implementation of group counseling at SMA Negeri 3 Tondano.
