Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi adalah lembaga formal yang menjadi tempat pelaksanaan pendidikanjenjang Sarjana (S1) yang diakui oleh pemerintah. Perguruan tinggi memiliki beberapa proram studidan melaksanakan pendidikan secara mandiri dan menggunakan Kurikulum. Kurikulum adalahseperangkat dokumen yang tertulis yang didunakan dalam pendidikan dalam proses belajar danpembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan tinggi harus menggunakan kurikulum,karena tanpa kurikulum pelaksanaan proses pendidikan tidak dapat diterapkan. Kurikulum yangditerapkan pada jurusan PKK adalah kurikulum berbasis kompetensi (Competency-BasedCurricullum), dan penerapan KBK tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan jurusansehingga trampil dan dapat mandiri sesuai dengan bidang ilmu yang ditekuninya.Salah satu matakuliah yang diajarkan pada mahasiswa adalah kewirausahaan. Matakuliah ini bertujuan untukmenumbuhkan sikap wirausaha pada mahasiswa, agar setelah lulus jika tidak terserap sebagaitenaga kerja dapat membuka usaha sendiri atau berwirausaha secara mandiri Persaingan untukmenjadi PNS dewasa ini sangat ketat, sehingga lulusan jurusan PKK jika tidak terserap pada instansipemerintah berpotensi untuk membuka usaha dalam bidang boga meskipun usaha tersebut masihdalam skala kecil. Berbekal ilmu yang diterima selama studi, lulusan jurusan PKK khususnyakonsentrasi tata boga, dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja sehingga dapat membantu pemerintahmengatasi pengangguran.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Kejuruan, Lulusan, Wirausaha

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse and interpret the influence of principal leadership style on the performance of certified teachers, the influence of teacher work motivation on the performance of certified teachers and the influence of principal leadership style and teacher work motivation simultaneously on the performance of certified teachers in SMA Negeri Kotamobagu. This study employs a quantitative study approach with survey methods and multiple regression analysis techniques. The independent variables are principal leadership style (X1) and teacher motivation (X2) and the dependent variable is certified teachers performance (Y). Result of the research shows that the principal leadership style has an effect on the performance of certified teachers, teacher work motivation has an effect on the performance of certified teachers, principal leadership style and teacher work motivation simultaneously affects the performance of certified teachers in SMA Negeri Kotamobagu. The values of the regression coefficients show the influence of each principal leadership style and teacher work motivation on the performance of certified teachers and have a high contribution to the performance of certified teachers. The principal must have the readiness and ability to mobilize the teachers to achieve the goals and be responsible for the organization of educational activities at school. Teachers should be tenacious and skilful at conducting quality learning activities. Schools should have appropriate functions to educational goals and implement effective and efficient organizational management, high social responsiveness, and are sensitive to: teachers, students and the surrounding community.

Abstract

Gula Aren atau dikenal dengan sebutan gula merah yang dihasilkan dari pengolahan air nira pohon sangat membantu dalam menambah penghasilan masyarakat. Selama ini industri gula merah masih dijadikan usaha sampingan terutama oleh masyarakat desa. Desa Keroit merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kecamatan Motoling Barat, Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan. Keroit sebagai desa sentra penghasil gula aren (sebutan bahasa lokal gula merah atau gula batu) yang dikenal bersih, tidak ada campuran bahan lainnya. Gula merah asal Keroit dikenal sebagai gula merah yang benar-benar murni dari air nira. Gula Keroit sangat disukai teristimewa untuk membuat kopi atau teh manis. Seiring dengan besarnya permintaan gula merah, baik di Kota Amurang, Ratahan, Tomohon maupun di Kota Manado dan sekitarnya produksi gula merah asal Keroit tidak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Apalagi para pengrajin gula merah tidak rutin berproduksi. Mereka tidak berproduksi karena pasokan air nira tidak setiap hari. Bahkan sudah banyak pengrajin yang berhenti beroperasi, seiring dengan perubahan dan tindakan profesi warga desa. Ada yang beralih profesi menjadi tukang ojek, buruh tani harian, pekerja harian tambang ilegal, dan lain-lain.             Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dapat memecahkan masalah mitra yaitu adanya peningkatan kemampuan sumber daya manusia tentang kewirausahaan, menciptakan usaha yang menumbuhkan sumber perekonomian masyarakat. Tercipta lapangan kerja baru bagi masyarakat, Peningkatan kapasitas dan kemampuan sumberdaya anggota masyarakat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada, Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok dalam hal memanage usaha dan pemasaran, Terjadinya perkembangan usaha yang lebih profesional bagi pengrajin gula merah/aren dan usaha pembuatan manisan kolang kaling.

Abstract

Fulfilling the rights of students to get educational services during the spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) is pursued through the implementation of Learning from Home policy. Parental involvement has a crucial influence on students’ involvement. This study aims to analyze and explain the involvement of students’ parents in implementation of learning from home in elementary schools in Tomohon City. This study applies a qualitative approach, case study methods, data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation as well as qualitative data analysis techniques adapted from interaction models. The results showed that the parents of students were very actively involved, especially from the mother's side, the forms of involvement were physical and non-physical, and there was personal communication between parents and teachers. In addition, a lack of readiness, cost, time, and teaching knowledge from students’ parents identified as an inhibiting factor which is overcome by providing opportunities for involvement, interpersonal communication and coordination and provision of incentives. Conclusions and suggestions for future research related to the importance of examining the parental involvement process of students are also presented at the end of the chapter.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of entrepreneurial leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic at Karitas Catholic High School in Tomohon City, the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the solutions for handling them. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were five people consisting of a school principal and four vice principals. The data were collected from interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed by an interactive model. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial leadership was implemented through the principal role as an explorer, a miner, an accelerator, and an integrator. The supporting factors are teachers’ IT skills, government allowances, parents’ support and proactivity, online learning facilities, and entrepreneurial instincts of teachers and students. The inhibiting factors are the late payment of tuition fees, the uncertainty of parents' income, the late disbursement of the government's school operational assistance (BOS) funds and the foundation's compulsory funds, the complexity of the foundation's centralized system, and the lack of online learning facilities. The efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors are coordination with parents, overcoming arrears, recording the number of students without online learning facilities, and conducting offline learning for them. The results suggest continuing to implement entrepreneurial leadership more openly and creatively, increase the supporting factors, and minimize the inhibiting factors with various efforts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat penggunaan teknologi informasi dan dampaknya pada kreativitas pembelajaran guru-guru sekolah luar biasa di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Metode ini dapat digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan, menginterpretasikan suatu fenomena. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diambil dari teori-teori terkait. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari 335 guru SLB di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara hanya 263 orang guru yang menguasai IT, sementara sisanya 72 orang belum menguasai IT. Usia guru SLB di Prov. Sulawesi Utara terbanyak berusia kurang dari 30 tahun dengan jumlah perempuan 57 orang dan laki-laki 21 orang. Sementara persentase usia diatas 55 tahun sebanyak 16 orang perempuan dan 8 orang laki-laki. Hal ini menjukkan bahwa usia guru tingkat pemahaman IT oleh guru yang berusia lebih muda lebih mendominasi dikarenakan mereka lahir dan tumbuh di tengah-tengah perkembangan IT secara global.

Abstract

Abstract — Memilih karir yang baik penting dilakukan sejak dini saat Anda masih kuliah. Karir yang baik akan membantu harus sesuai dengan kepribadian setiap orang untuk memastikan bahwa karir dapat dijalani dalam waktu yang berkesinambungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memprediksi karir mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi berdasarkan kepribadiannya menggunakan asisten virtual. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode prototype untuk membangun asisten virtual dengan mengadopsi tes kepribadian MBTI. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa asisten virtual yang dibangun sangat baik untuk merekomendasikan pilihan karir yang tepat kepada mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi sesuai dengan kepribadian yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing mahasiswa. Asisten virtual yang dihasilkan berhasil mengimplementasikan model uji MBTI dalam sistem yang dibangun dan memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dalam merekomendasikan pilihan karir. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa memprediksi pilihan karir yang tepat akan dapat membantu mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi untuk mempersiapkan karir sejak dini ketika masih mendidik dan mempraktekkannya dengan baik sehingga menghasilkan pilihan karir yang berkelanjutan di masa depan.Kata Kunci —  Karir, Pendidikan Tinggi, Kepribadian, Prediksi, Asisten Virtual Abstract —  Choosing a good career is important to do early when you are still in college. A good career will help must match the personality of each person to ensure that the career can be lived in a sustainable time. The purpose of this study is to predict a student's career in college based on his personality using a virtual assistant. The method used is a prototype method to build a virtual assistant by adopting the MBTI personality test. The results of this study indicate that the virtual assistant that is built is very good for recommending the right career choice to students in college according to the personality of each student. The resulting virtual assistant has successfully implemented the MBTI test model in the system built and has a high level of accuracy in recommending career choices. This study concludes that predicting the right career choice will be able to help college students to prepare for a career from an early age while still educating and practicing it well so as to produce sustainable career choices in the future. Keywords— Careers, Higher Education, Personality, Prediction, Virtual Assistant
