Abstract

Tilapia nuggets are an instant food with high protein and mineral content. Adding tapioca flour to the nuggets increases gel rigidity when cooling, making the texture harder. However, to optimize the nutritional value and texture of tilapia nuggets, seaweed can be added. This study aimed to determine the best formulation for tilapia nuggets that meet SNI 7758 quality standards. Research methods included observation, literature study, questionnaire, and experiment. The results show that substituting Eucheuma Cottonii seaweed for tapioca flour significantly improved sensory, physical, and chemical test parameters. The best formulation, N1, with an effectiveness index value of 77.1, met the quality standards of SNI 7758. It received an appearance score of 7.73, odor score of 7.40, taste score of 7.73, texture score of 7.33, texture hardness of 666 gr, water content of 59.95%, ash content of 2.31%, protein content of 13.94%, and fat content of 0.76%. Therefore, adding seaweed to the formulation of tilapia nuggets can enhance their nutritional value and texture.

Abstract

An ideal IPA learning module should be able to train the science literacy skills of students, but in reality some outstanding IPA learning modules are still unable to train science literacy skills. The development of teaching materials in the form of science literacy-based modules is expected to make students accustomed to science literacy so as to improve the skills literacy science of students This module focuses on the material of the human excretion system. The purpose of this study is to describe the validity of junior high school IPA modules based on the literacy of material science human excretion systems. The development method used is 4D but in this study only used 3D. The data obtained comes from validation instruments. The validity result of the module obtained a percentage of 90.43% which means it is very valid. The average of 3.62 means very good. This module is also conducted reliability test with a percentage rate of 85.10%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the SMP IPA module based on science literacy in the excretion system material is suitable for use.

Abstract

Pupuk organik  dapat meningkatkan kesuburan  tanah serta mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan bahan organik yang keberadaanya melimpah. Pupuk kompos berbahan dasar daun bambu bambu dan daun gamal dapat menyediakan unsur hara untuk pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pengaruh pemberian varian kombinasi kompos daun bambu dan kompos daun gamal terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pakcoy dan untuk mendiskripsikan takaran terbaik pemberian varian kombinasi kompos daun bambu dan daun gamal terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pakcoy ( Brassica rapa L.). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap ( RAL) yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan dan enam pengulangan dengan A (sebagai kontrol), B (Kompos daun bambu 30%+ kompos daun gamal 70%), C (Kompos daun bambu 50%+ kompos daun gamal 50%), D (Kompos daun bambu 70%+ kompos daun gamal 30%). Hasil penelitian diuji menggunakan uji  one way anova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji HSD. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi kompos daun bambu dan daun gamal yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P 0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun, bobot basah tajuk tanaman, dan bobot basah akar tanaman sawi pakcoy. Takaran kombinasi kompos daun bambu dan daun gamal yang terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan B ( kompos daun bambu 30 % + daun gamal 70%).

Abstract

Research on improving easy-to-understand storyline media on basic subject matter intends to illustrate the legitimacy of informative media. The 4D development model (define, design, develop, deploy) uses R&D methods in research. The percentage method of the expert validation sheet is used for the data collection method. The consequence of this review shows that intelligent learning media with expressive storylines gets a legitimacy score of 87%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the simple field material of Articulate Storyline is said to be very useful for learning natural sciences in junior high schools.

Abstract

Duck meat is one of the livestock potentials that has economic value and is a source of high quality protein. Duck meat processing needs to be done to add flavor and improve quality so that it has a longer shelf life. The addition of turmeric in meat processing can be used as a spice and natural antioxidant. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding turmeric extract on the results of water content and pH levels as well as organoleptic tests on processed shredded duck meat. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) experiment with the addition of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% turmeric extract. Storage time was 30 days at room temperature and 3 repetitions were carried out for each treatment. The results showed that there was an effect of adding turmeric extract on water content (p=0.000) and pH level (p=0.016). The results of the organoleptic test analysis of shredded duck meat showed that there was an effect of adding turmeric extract on the color and texture of shredded duck meat. Based on the de Garmo effectiveness test, the P2 treatment (10%) was the best and most preferred treatment by the panelists with a relative value of 0.75.

Abstract

Ikan patin siam (Pangasius hypophthalmus) merupakan salah satu ikan air tawar yang sering dibudidayakan. Ikan patin siam memiliki kandungan gizi yang cukup besar. Cara memenuhi kebutuhan pakannya dilakukan pemberian pakan yang memiliki banyak nutrisi baik dari pakan pelet atau pakan alami. Salah satu pakan alami yaitu cacing sutra (Tubifex sp). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemberian pakan yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan terbaik untuk benih ikan patin siam dengan frekuensi yang sesuai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Balai Benih Ikan Kota Banjarmasin dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan pola Rancanagan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Frekuensi yang digunakan adalah perlakuan A pelet 2x sehari, perlakuan B pelet 3x sehari, perlakuan C cacing sutra 2x sehari, dan perlakuan D cacing sutra 3x sehari. Analisis data menggunakan ANNOVA, apabila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pakan yang terbaik dan frekuensi yang sesuai yaitu pada perlakuan D dengan berat 1,60 gram dan panjang 5,66 cm. Nilai kualitas air selama penelitian masih berada dalam kisaran yang layak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian pakan dengan frekuensi yang berbeda dan juga bahan dasar yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan berat dan panjang benih ikan patin siam.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan manusia gambar 2D dinilai belum mengikuti tuntutan perkembangan teknologi. Media alat peraga sistem pencernaan manusia yang berbentuk 3D memiliki keterbatasan tidak bisa digunakan ketika proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajarnan materi sistem pemcernaan manusia yang sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan teknologi dan mampu digunakan untuk pembelajaran jarak jauh yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba penelitian adalah pada kelompok kecil dengan 15 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP/MTs sederajat. Data penelitian berupa hasil validasi yang ditinjau dari hasil lembar validasi dan hasil kepraktisan yang ditinjau dari angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran articulate storyline pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia (1) Hasil validasi kelayakan media ditinjau dari ahli materi dan ahli media mencapai 0,91 dengan kategori sangat valid (2) Hasil kepraktisan didapatkan mencapai 88% dengan kategori praktis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini media pembelajaran articulate storyline pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa SMP dinyatakan layak teruji dan praktis.

Abstract

Eksekusi pembelajaran IPA di SMP pada kenyataannya masih kekurangan pembaharuan dan jenis dalam penggunaan strategi pembelajaran yang interaktif berbasis teknologi. Hal ini menjadi hambatan dalam penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran topik IPA yang abstrak dan luas, salah satunya topik pengklasifikasian makhluk hidup. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan melaksanakan penelitian pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif Articulate Storyline. Penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan ini ingin menguraikan validitas media pembelajaran interaktif Articulate Storyline. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah Research and Development. Model pengembangan yang dipakai ialah ADDIE, namun hanya sampai pada tahap Develop. Angket lembar validasi media pembelajaran menjadi alat untuk pengumpulan data. Uji validitas Aiken’s V dipakai dalam teknik menganalisis data penelitian. 3 orang ahli telah dilibatkan di penelitian ini. Hasil validasi para ahli telah didapatkan yaitu 0,90 (sangat valid). Menurut hasil validasi dapat ditarik simpulan bahwasanya media pembelajaran interaktif memakai Articulate Storyline pada Subtopik Pengklasifikasian Makhluk Hidup Kelas VII SMP dinyatakan sangat pantas dan siap diaplikasikan.

In addition, Indonesia's scientific literacy ability is still relatively low due to low interest or motivation to learn. Therefore, this study aims to describe the improvement of students' scientific literacy skills through independent differentiated instruction. This study used a pre-experimental type experimental method  with a one-group pretest posttest design. The research sample was conducted by non-probability sampling using a type of purposive sampling. The subjects of this study were 33 students of class VII C SMP Negeri 7 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques use test instruments, response questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses t-test and N-gain test. The results showed that there was an increase in students' scientific literacy skills through the implementation of independent differentiated instruction which was shown by the results of the t sig test (0.000) < α = 0.05 with a large increase of 0.71 or 71.33% in the high category.
