Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design a digital module based on mathematical communication skills. This a development research which is carried out to determine the use of poor learning media and students’ low comprehensive skills in understanding mathematical topics associated with relations and functions. One of the solutions used to overcome this problem is by designing a digital teaching module using media. The research and development method consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE), were used to carry out this study. The results showed that the digital module is highly valid with a total expert validation of 95.1% and in the very good category. Also, the students' response to the digital module is in the very good category, with a total response criterion of 89.8%. Therefore, the designed digital module has the ability to improve students' independence in learning because its use is not limited to classrooms.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to arrange the design of educative poster which is ideal to the tourist level of knowledge Karangsong Mangrove forest tourism area. Based on the judgment of educative poster design of mangrove forest, the expert of ecotourism and knowing the effectiveness level of educative poster design to the tourist level of knowledge to Kangrangsong mangrove forest area. The poster design developed by using adobe software and completed with video by using flash macromedia to support the poster, while for judgment of the design of educative media is by using evaluation questionnaire given to 3 ecotourism experts and for knowing the effectiveness level of educative media is by using questionnaire. The result of judgment shows that educative poster media and video are feasible to be tested and revised as suggestion. While the result of questionnaire shows that developing poster and video are effective to the tourist level of knowledge with the percentage 97.1%

Abstract

This research aims to assess students awareness attitude on natural resources in the region of Unswagati Cirebon Indonesia. Qualitative research method is used in this study involving 87 students as sample at the second grade of Economic Education FKIP Unswagati in the year of 2016/2017. Data were gathered using interviews, observation, and documents. These were analyzed employing qualitative technique through developing the domains, taxonomies, compositions, and cultural themes. Results indicate that the students have positive attitudes towards their environment while using natural resources, having sufficient knowledge and skills in maintaining, managing, preserving, and restoring the environment to overcome the lack of natural resources.Keywords: Environmental awareness, natural resources, character building, microeconomic theory

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of learning media in the form of videos with the help of camtasia software on number material using the R & D (Research and Development) methodology with ADDIE models (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at Cirebon State MTs 2 Cirebon in class VII. The research instrument used was an interview questionnaire for teachers and students, a practicality questionnaire for students and a validation sheet for three lecturers as well as a mathematics teacher. From the results of the instruments in the form of interview questionnaires students are clear that students prefer learning with the presence of learning media and the results of teacher interviews that result in a lack of facilities for the learning process using learning media. The instrument results in the form of a validation questionnaire produce an average score of 85% (very valid), so that it can be said that the learning media in the form of videos are valid and can be used. The instrument of practicality questionnaire filled by nine students with three high-ability students, three moderate-capable students, three low-ability students produced an average score of 86.77%, it can be said that the practice was very high. Based on the results of each instrument, it can be stated that the learning media in the form of CD-shaped videos is practical and can be used.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi matematika siswa, untuk dapat memahami atau bahkan memecahkan masalah matematis. Hasil observasi dan wawancara menujukkan  kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis yang dimiliki siswa dari  kelas masih rendah. Empat siswa SMA Negeri 1 Subang mengatakan bahwa mereka kesulitan dalam memahami soal dan menentukan daerah himpunan dari grafik yang digambarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis dan perbedaan kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model PBL dengan model konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Dari  penelitian ini diperoleh besar pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis sebesar , sedangkan  pengaruh dari faktor yang lain seperti suasana kelas yang kondusif dan jam pelajaran. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas kontrol yang didapat adalah  sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen adalah . Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model PBL terhadap kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis. Besar pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis sebesar , sedangkan  dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang lain seperti, suasana kelas yang kondusif dan jam pelajaran. Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan kelancaran prosedural matematis antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model PBL dengan model konvensional. Kata Kunci: Model PBL, Kelancaran Prosedural Matematis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of valid puzzle media development and the feasibility of developing practical puzzle media on temperature and heat material. In this study, the authors chose a puzzle with Microsoft PowerPoint as a tool to develop a medium. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. With the Thiagarajan 4D model, namely defining, designing, and developing this research only goes through 3 stages up to the develop stage. The instrument used was a validation sheet which was analyzed using a Likert scale. Data collection techniques are observation, material and media expert validation sheets and teacher practicality sheets. The results showed that according to the expert the material was in a very valid category with a good predicate of 95.8% with improvement results. It's worth using. The validation result according to media experts is 90% with a good predicate is very valid, while the practicality or teacher response is 77.5% with a good predicate very feasible.

Abstract

One of the roles of education in the digital era, where all information can be obtained easily through existing facilities on smartphones / androids owned by students, then in an effort to improve financial literacy and student environment is expected to be achieved through web-based learning with the subject matter of scarcity theory and theory of consumer behavior. Specific research objectives, namely to produce learning media that are developed based on a valid, practical, and effective.The research method used in this research is research and development (R&D). The results of the study note that, the validity test of teaching materials was developed and carried out by three validators, the results showed that this web-based economic teaching material was valid.Assessment based on respondents' opinions on web-based teaching materials shows a positive response. The results of practicality tests on 20 students have been considered practical. In addition, the effectiveness test shows that, web-based teaching materials have good effectiveness.The conclusion is that web-based teaching materials are valid, practical, and effective, so that they can be used in the learning process in the classroom to improve the competencies students must master, namely financial literacy and environmental literacy in terms of student consumption behavior. Keywords: financial literacy, environmental literacy, web-based learning media, student consumption behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to design a Cirebon-based local genius teaching material that is valid, practical and effective in the Basic Natural Sciences course to build student scientific literacy. The research method used is the research and development (R & D) approach. The model development approach used is 4D developed by Thiagarajan. The results of the study showed that teaching materials designed and developed were valid by testing validity twice by three expert validators, consisting of material experts, media experts and practitioners' experts. Teaching materials have been practical based on a limited test on 20 participants who filled out the questionnaire. and in effective tests, teaching materials can improve student scientific literacy, as evidenced by the average n-gain value of 0.417 in the experimental class with the moderate criteria.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar modul untuk meningkatkan litersi sains pada siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research And Development (RD). Model dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan model ADDIE pada materi organ pernapasan hewan dan manusia. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan dua analisis data diantaranya analisis data kuantitatif dan analisis dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahan ajar modul mendapatkan penilaian dari validator ahli materi dengan persentase 75%, penilaian dari validator ahli bahan ajar dengan persentase 86.3%, dan penilaian validasi guru adalah dengan persentase 84,7%. Sedangkan hasil penilain praktikalitas dari 5 guru adalah penilaian yang diberikan oleh S-1 dengan persentas 91,1%, lalu penilaian yang diberikan oleh S-2 dengan persentase 83,8%, selanjutnya penilaian yang diberikan oleh S-3 dengan persentase 88,2%, sedangkan penilaian yang diberikan oleh S-4 dengan persentase  82,3%, dan yang terakhir penilaian dari S-5 dengan persentase 83,8%. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar modul telah masuk dalam kriteria sangat layak atau sangat praktis dalam meningkatkan literasi sains pada peserta didik dengan persentase di antara 75%-100%.
