Abstract

Real Analysis is a compulsory subject for the 3rd grade students of Mathematics Education that most of students  are considered it as a difficult course, due to the abstract of material especially on the matter of the Real Numbers. The purpose of this research is to design learning materials with SOLO taxonomy completed with such a multilevel exercise form super item to obtain a valid learning materials and practical to address the difficulties of students in learning the material of Number Real. This research uses research methods of modified Plomp. The referred design in this research is the design of learning materials. The results show that 1) The material design includes in valid criteria, based on the average value of validation materials of 4.52; 2) The practicality of material design is gained from the results of students positive response that is  91.96% and a good ability of the lecturer in teaching using materials that have been compiled.

Abstract

AbstractUsing mathematics instructional media in schools is still very limited, this resulted in low levels of student understanding. One of the materials that concern is a probability in Class X. The solution for this problem is by providing instructional media on probability. The purpose of this research is to design valid and practical instructional media on probability material. This research is R & D (Research and Development) method and designing using ADDIE model which simplifies to ADD. The instruments are interview guides, validation, and practical sheets. Instructional media based on educational games at tenth grade has a percentage of validity 96.4%. Hence, this media is valid. Value of practicality on each level of ability, for students with high ability 95.3%, for students with average and low ability has the same value of 92.7% then this educational game is declared practice.Keyword: instructional media, RPG, ADDIEAbstrakPenggunaan media pembelajaran matematika di sekolah masih sangat terbatas, hal ini mengakibatkan tingkat pemahaman siswa masih rendah. Salah satu materi yang menjadi perhatian adalah materi peluang di Kelas X. Salah satu solusi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah dengan menyediakan media pembelajaran pada materi peluang. Tujuan penelitian ini mendesain media pembelajaran pada materi peluang yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode R&D (Research and Development) dan langkah dalam mendesain media pembelajaran menggunakan model ADDIE yang disederhanakan menjadi ADD. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi dan lembar praktikalitas. Media pembelajaran berbasis game edukatif pada materi peluang kelas sepuluh, dengan presentase kevalidannya mencapai 96,4 % maka media ini dinyatakan valid. Nilai dari kepraktisan adalah pada tiap tingkat kemampuan,  untuk siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi 95,3%, untuk siswa yang berkemampuan sedang dan rendah memiliki nilai yang sama yaitu 92,7% maka game edukatif ini dinyatakan praktis.Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, RPG, ADDIE.

Abstract

ABSTRAKOpsi adalah kontrak antara pemegang dan penulis  (buyer (holder) dan seller (writer)) di mana penulis (writer) memberikan hak (bukan kewajiban) kepada holder untuk membeli atau menjual aset dari writer pada harga tertentu (strike atau latihan harga) dan pada waktu tertentu dalam waktu (tanggal kadaluwarsa atau jatuh tempo waktu). Ada beberapa cara untuk menentukan harga opsi, diantaranya adalah  Metode Black-Scholes dan Metode Binomial. Metode binomial berasal dari model pergerakan harga saham yang membagi waktu interval [0, T] menjadi n sama panjang. Sedangkan metode Black-Scholes, dimodelkan dengan pergerakan harga saham sebagai suatu proses stokastik. Semakin besar partisi waktu n pada Metode Binomial, maka nilai opsinya akan konvergen ke nilai opsi Metode Black-Scholes.Kata kunci: opsi, Binomial, Black-Scholes.ABSTRACT Option is a contract between the holder and the writer in which the writer gives the right (not the obligation) to the holder to buy or sell an asset of a writer at a specified price (the strike or exercise price) and at a specified time in the future (expiry date or maturity time). While the Black Scholes method, the stock price movement is modeled as a stochastic process. Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of students 'mathematical understanding, but the fact is that students' mathematical understanding is still low in working on algebraic form questions. This problem brings out a learning obstacle, where students cannot interpret the algebraic form elements and cannot operate the algebraic form. This study aimed to design a didactic design phase using fables based on students' mathematical understanding. The research method is descriptive qualitative research. Design is Didactical Design Research (DDR) with 15 junior high school students as subjects. The data was collected using triangulation techniques, then analyzed descriptively. This study results in a didactic design in the form of a situation that can anticipate students' learning obstacles in algebraic form material and facilitate students' thinking process. Situations are created using exciting pictures and stories to motivate student learning. The results show that the situations that have been created make it easier for students to group similar and dissimilar terms and can operate the algebraic form easily and algorithmically. The students also can interpret the elements of the algebraic form along with addition and subtraction operations in the algebraic form based on the understanding of each student.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of reflective mathematical abstraction which consists of the ability to apply concepts, the ability to make relationships between concepts to form new meanings, and the ability to manipulate abstract mathematical objects. This research is a qualitative research with type of case study. The sample used in this study was one senior high school student of class X. The method of collecting data to find the results of the study was to use a test instrument for building questions and interviews. These instruments are validated first using Expert Judgment Validation. The results obtained by indicator one and indicator two, student still find it difficult to understand the concept and choose which other concept is suitable to obtain a solution. Meanwhile, on the third indicator student can manipulate abstract mathematical objects. So that the student' mathematical abstraction ability is still quite good.

Abstract

An option is a contract between a holder and a writer in which the writer grants the rights (not obligations) to the holder to buy or sell the assets of the writer at a certain price (strike price) at maturity time. Asian options are included in the dependent path option. This means that Asia's payoff option depends not only on the stock price at maturity time, but it is the average stock price during its maturity and symbolized A (average). Monte Carlo is basically used as a numerical procedure to estimate the expected value of pricing product derivatives. The techniques used are the standard Monte Carlo and variance reduction. The result obtained the Asia call option price and put for both techniques with 95% confidence interval. The variance reduction technique looks faster reducing 95% confidence interval than standard method.

Abstract

In learning process, students are currently cannot be separated from learning difficulties, including the study material algebra limit function. It because the level of students' mathematical understanding regarding the material is still quite low. This study aimed to analyze the barriers to student learning, designing learning materials based on the material mathematics understanding algebra limit function is valid, determine teacher intervention during the implementation of learning materials and to analyze barriers to student learning after the implementation of learning materials. This research is a qualitative research study design using the form Didactical Design Research. Stages of research conducted: 1) analysis of the situation didactic before learning, 2) analysis of metapedadidatik and 3) the retrospective analysis. Data collection techniques used were tests, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The instrument used was a matter TKPM (Comprehension Mathematical Ability Test), interview, validation sheet materials, and documentation guidelines. Research results obtained are students experiencing obstacle to learning the material limit algebra functions. These obstacles are 1) students' difficulties in relating the material prerequisites to limit problems. 2) students can not write properly limit symbol, 3) students can not apply a limit theorem, 4) students are not able to determine the limit value at one point, and 5) students cannot determine the value of the limit at infinity. Learning materials that have been made have validation level of  with very valid criteria. The response was given when the student intervention, generally in accordance with response prediction so that interventions carried out in accordance with the design that has been made. After learning materials student learning obstacles implemented reduced/minimized.

Abstract

This research motivated by the low of students’ mathematical problem-solving ability and the utilization of learning media based on technology that was not maximum. Preparation of learning materials in the form of the interactive digital module was one of the ways can overcome that problem. The method that used in this research was RnD with the design model ADDIE that was analysis, development of implementation design and evaluation with the restrictions of not doing the implementation stage. The instrument of collecting data in this research was the form of validation and the form of practicalities of the user senior high school students that has to get the material of linear inequality absolute value. The data that was taken though with statistics descriptive way. The validation result of the digital module gets ratings in the amount of 83,33% from media expert and 85,57% from a material expert. This interactive digital module was decent to use and very practical with the average percentage for students’ high cognitive ability 88,77%,  medium 89,49%, and low 82,97%.  Whereas the other user that was mathematics teacher give the percentage 84,78% so, according to them this digital module was very practical.
