Abstract

Kasus penyalahgunaan obat dari tahun ke tahun semakin meningkat. Penyalahgunaan NAPZA (Narkotika, Alkohol, Psikotropika, dan Zat Adiktif Lainnya) 97% dilakukan pada usia remaja yang sedang mengalami keadaan emosional yang labil dan mempunyai keinginan besar untuk mencoba serta mudah terpengaruh oleh lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang peranan Farmasis dan memberikan informasi mengenai bahaya penyalahgunaan NAPZA pada kalangan pelajar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dibagi menjadi 3 tahapan. Tahap 1 persiapan yang meliputi penentuan waktu, tempat pelaksanaan, penyiapan media dan alat penyuluhan serta pendataan siswa-siswi,. Tahap II pelaksanaan, meliputi pemberian materi penyuluhan, sesi tanya jawab dan post test. Tahap III evaluasi meliputi pengolahan data kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif melalui program SPSS 21 dengan taraf siginifikan (α) 0,05. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 17 Januari 2023 di Aula SMAN 1 Maja yang diikuti oleh 42 Siswa kelas XII. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh presentasi tingkat pemahaman dan bahaya penyalahgunaan NAPZA siswa dengan katagori baik sebesar 76,19% dan kurang sebesar 23,81%. Pemberian informasi melalui penyuluhan Farmasis dapat meningkatkan pemahaman Remaja mengenai bahaya penyalahgunaan obat sehingga pelajar lebih dapat menjauhi obat-obatan yang berbahaya dan dapat mengancam keselamatan masa depannya sehingga dapat terwujudnya generasi muda bangsa yang sehat, cerdas, dan kreatif.

Abstract

Akrilamida adalah salah satu zat yang dapat menimbulkan kanker pada manusia dan bersifat neurotoksik yang terbentuk akibat pemanasan suhu tinggi di atas 120°C terhadap makanan yang mengandung karbohidrat dan asam amino. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar akrilamida pada sate ayam yang beredar di masyarakat khususnya di Kecamatan Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang. Analisa akrilamida dilakukan dengan metode kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi (KCKT) dengan fase gerak asetonitril : aquabides (15:85 v/v); fase diam kolom C18 (150 x 4,6 mm id, 5µm); laju alir 0,5 mL/menit dan detektor UV pada λ 196 nm. Hasil uji validasi metode menunjukkan nilai linearitas 0,999; LOD 1,16 µg/mL ± 0,07; LOQ 3,88 µg/mL ± 0,11; presisi dengan RSD 1,80% dan akurasi 104,14%. Kadar akrilamida yang diperoleh dari ke 7 sampel yang diberi label A-G berturut-turut  sebesar 4,04 μg/g ± 0,30; 8,91 μg/g ± 0,31; 8,47 μg/g ± 0,59; 7,39 μg/g ± 0,48; 6,90 μg/g ± 0,86; 9,32 μg/g ± 0,26 dan 9,03 μg/g ± 0,30. Semua sate ayam tersebut mengandung akrilamida yang berada di bawah batas maksimum kadar yang ditetapkan WHO (1-4 µg/kg berat badan/hari atau 2 μg/g).

Abstract

The quality of air is very important for the environment and human life, however, along with developments in today's increasingly developed and modern era, the quality of the air itself is getting worse and the substances that become air pollutants, one of which is carbon monoxide. Exposure to high amounts of carbon monoxide gas over a continuous exposure period can of course increase carboxyhemoglobin levels in the blood, which will cause health problems. To determine the relationship between carboxyhemoglobin levels in the blood of motor vehicle mechanic workers in the Samarinda city area based on factors such as age, length of work, length of service, and smoking habits. This research used a cross sectional analytical survey design, and sample measurements used the Hindsberg-Lang method which was carried out in May 2023 with a sample size of 17 people and a Spearman rank statistical test was carried out to see whether there was a relationship between variables. 17 motor vehicle mechanics had COHb concentrations that exceeded the normal limit of 3.5%, where the lowest carboxyhemoglobin level was 6.10% and the highest was 9.64%. Correlation data obtained from the p value of age (p=0.000), length of service (p=0.000), time worked (p=0.000), and smoking habits (p=0.004) on COHb levels in the blood of motor vehicle mechanics. The Conclusion: COHb levels in motor vehicle mechanics are above 3.5% and there is a significant relationship between age, length of service, working time and smoking habits on COHb levels in the blood of motor vehicle mechanics.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where systolic and diastolic blood pressure continuously increases, causing heart disease, kidney disease, hardening of the arteries, eye damage, and stroke (brain damage). Bilimbi (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) is traditionally used to lowering high blood pressure. The research objective was evaluating the activity of A. bilimbi as an antihypertensive. The research was conducted in vivo using rats and the CODA blood pressure analysis instrument. The doses used for A. bilimbi juice were 150, 300, and 600 mg/kg BW, respectively. A. bilimbi juice at a dose of 600 mg/kg BW/day for 14 days can reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure in male Wistar rats induced by 2.5% NaCl and 1.5 mg/kg BW prednisone. The results of the study showed that A. bilimbi juice at a dose of 600 mg/kg BW. had antihypertensive activity.

Abstract

The inauguration activities of regional administrators and PDM Muhammadiyah work meetings are activities that are held every five years, on this occasion these activities were carried out at Muhammadiyah A.R Fachruddin University. For this reason, Muhammadiyah A.R Fachruddin University held a free inspection program at this event because it was necessary, according to the program plan the health examination does not provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, for this reason we are providing community service by converting the classroom closest to the activity into an examination room by adding chairs and tables for examinations and a medical team and medicines as well as an ergonomic hospital bed. . The aim of this research is to determine facilities and infrastructure as well as an ergonomic layout that will be used as a guide for similar activities in emergency situations and conditions. The methods used in this research are location observation and interviews as well as assessments from users of facilities and infrastructure regarding comfort, safety, health and effectiveness

Abstract

Health examinations are a program held by Muhammadiyah A.R. Fachruddin University. One of the health check activities carried out was a free health check in the context of the regional musda and the inauguration of the muhamamadiyah regional management of tangerang regency. There are no guidelines or guidelines used in preparing the parts in the health examination room. The layout is still based on space availability without paying attention to the level of importance of the relationship between parts. The method used in preparing the free health examination layout is the activity relationship chart (ARC) assisted by BLOCPLAN software and followed by simulation using promodel. From the simulation, it is known that the utilization of the tension room is 79,87 and the utilization of the gcu room is 79,56.

Abstract

Methylparaben and propylparaben are compounds that can be used as antibacterials in cosmetics, one of which is in cream preparations. However, if parabens are used excessively, they can cause side effects in the form of increased estrogen, weight gain, irritation, decreased reproductive health, and premature aging. This study aims to identify and determine the levels of methylparaben and propylparaben contained in face creams circulating in the Labuan Region, Pandeglang Regency using the High Performance Liquid Chromatography method. The mobile phase used was methanol: water (4:6), temperature 25oC, flow rate 1.2 mL/min, wavelength 257 nm using an octadecylsilane (C18) column. The results of the four face cream samples used, the samples with the KW 1 and KW 2 codes were not identified as using the preservative methylparaben, the samples with the KW 3 and KW 4 codes contained methylparaben with levels that were still below the maximum limit set by BPOM, namely 0.4% for single preservative use and 0.8% for mixed preservative use. The average percentage of methylparaben content in KW 3 and KW 4 was 0.21% and 0.20%. Meanwhile, the preservative propylparaben was not identified in samples with the codes KW 1, KW 2, KW 3 and KW 4.
