Abstract

Motor vehicle theft is a crime that is most common in Indonesia. Growth of vehicle motorcycle significant in each year accompanied by the increasing theft of motorcycles in each year, we need a system that is able to forecast the development and the theft of the motorcycle.This research proposes the development of forecasting models vulnerability criminal offense of theft of motorcycles with ARIMA forecasting method. This method not only forecast from variable of theft but also residents, vehicles and unemployment. The study also determined the classification level of vulnerability to the crime of theft of a motorcycle using a method based on the Decision Tree CART ARIMA forecasting method.Forecasting time series data with ARIMA method performed by each of the variables to produce the best ARIMA forecasting model which varies based on the data pattern of each of those variables. The results of classification by CART method to get the value of accuracy of 92% for the city of Yogyakarta and 85% for DIY. Based on the above, the results of ARIMA forecasting and classification CART can be used in determining the level of vulnerability to the crime of theft of motorcycles.

Abstract

Cataract are the highest cause of blindness that there are 32.4 million people experiencing blindness and as many as 191 million people experiencing visual disabilities in 2010 in the world. On the other hand, the longer a patient suffers from cataracts or late treatment. The development of cataract identification using a traditional algorithm based on feature representation is highly dependent on the classification process carried out by an eye specialist so that the method is prone to misclassification of a person detected or not. However, at this time there is a deep learning, convolutional neural network (CNN) which is used for pattern recognition which can help automate image classification. This research was conducted to increase the accuracy value and minimize data loss in the process of cataract identification by performing an experience namely the manipulation process was carried out by changing epochs. The results of this study indicate that the addition of epochs affects accuracy and loss data from CNN. By comparing variety of epoch values it can be ignored that the higher the age values used, the higher the value of the model. In this study, using the epoch 50 value reached the highest value with a value of 95%. Based on the model that has been made it has also been successful to receive images according to the specified class. After testing accurately, 10 images achieved an average accuracy of 88%.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that takes place across virtually every social media platform. Twitter is a form of social media that allows users to exchange information. Bullying has been a growing problem on Twitter over the past few years. Sentiment analysis is done to identify the element of bullying in a tweet. Sentiments are divided into 3 classes, namely Bullying, Non-Bullying and neutral. There are three steps to classify cyberbullying i.e. collection of data set, preprocessing data, and classification process. This research used sentiStrength, an algorithm which uses a lexicon based approach. This SentiStrength lexicon contains the weight of its sentiment strength. The assessment results from 454 tweets data obtained 161 tweet non-bullying (35.4%), 87 tweet neutral (19.1%), and 206 tweet bullying (45.4%). This research produces an accuracy value of 60.5%.

Abstract

Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Jambi sebagai institusi yang bergerak dibidang pendidikan, saat ini telah mengunakan teknologi komputer dalam pengelolaan dokumennya. Akan tetapi teknologi tersebut belum digunakan secara optimal. Hal ini terlihat dari cara penyimpanan arsip dokumen fakultas yang masih dilakukan secara manual oleh staff tenaga kependidikan. Di Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi, dokumen disimpan dalam lemari arsip dan atau di dalam folder komputer yang dipisahkan berdasarkan jenis dokumen. Akibatnya terdapat kendala dalam pengaksesan dokumen, dimana staff tenaga kependidikan harus terlebih dahulu membongkar folder arsip untuk mencari dokumen yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu dokumen arsip berupa kertas menumpuk di ruangan, yang lama kelamaan akan membutuhkan ruang yang banyak. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka solusi yang dilakukan adalah dengan pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen arsip berbasis web. Sistem informasi manajemen arsip ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan framework laravel dengan metode pengembangan software development life cycle (SDLC). Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengembangan sistem ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi manajemen arsip Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi yang dapat diakses pada https://arsip.fst.unja.ac.id untuk digunakan secara langsung dalam penyimpanan data atau dokumen, serta dapat meningkatkan efektifitas dalam pengolahan dokumen

Abstract

The problem that often occurs during lectures is the mismatch of time from the supervisor's response which becomes a very difficult challenge for students in doing their final project/thesis. The purpose of this study was to analyze the supervisor's response time in conducting thesis guidance using Elista which was differentiated based on years of service. This research is a mixed method research with explanatory design, where quantitative data is strengthened by qualitative data. The population in this study were lecturers with a sample selection technique using purposive sampling technique with the sample criteria being lecturers who had become student thesis supervisors so that a sample of 1270 lecturers was obtained which was grouped into 4 work intervals, namely 1-10 years, 11-20 years. years, 21-30 years, and 31-40 years. Data collection in this study was obtained through the Elista database regarding the supervisor's response time and through interviews with lecturers from each working period. Analysis of quantitative data using descriptive analysis and qualitative data using analysis of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that lecturers with 1-10 years of service and 11-20 years had better guidance response times than lecturers with longer tenures because lecturers with 1-10 years of service were more productive in using technology and strongly supported the fast response of supervisors. The implication of this research is that to speed up the travel time of student graduation, a good response from the supervisor is needed, where this response can also be distinguished by the tenure of the lecturer.

Abstract

Company that has the added investment products with protection products, from a variety of investment products offered, product PRUlink Rupiah Equity Fund is the most desirable, the product has a high volatility compared to other products. Because it is a customer who is also an investor in this case, often feel disadvantaged by the insurer at the time of withdrawal own funds, it is caused by a lack of knowledge to know the price index next period Alleged right is the main information needed by investors to determine the next strategy in investing, One is the method of Exponential Moving Average. This method is a method of time series are used to predict the future by using historical data. Assigning weights to involve periods, so the longer the period that we use, the smaller the final value weighting we use With the abundance of available data, the construction of a system that utilizes past data, in other words, try using a time series model time series of the past to predict, the system will be useful to assist investors in predicting the allegations of the value of equity funds in the future so as to determine the appropriate strategy for investment.

Abstract

Media sosial merupakan salah satu bentuk perkembangan dari jaringan internet yang dapat diakses secara online. Penggunaan media sosial didalam kehidupan sehari-hari telah membawa pengaruh besar dalam perubahan aspek kehidupan. Salah satu media sosial yang sedang populer dan digunakan oleh banyak masyarakat adalah Twitter. Penggunaan media sosial Twitter digunakan untuk berbagai kepentingan seperti ajang promosi atau hanya sekedar memberikan tweet berupa opini atau fakta. Namun tidak jarang, tweet yang diberikan pengguna Twitter mengandung unsur negatif seperti Beauty Shaming. Analisis sentimen dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi atau memahami unsur Beauty Shaming dari suatu data tweet. Algoritma yang digunakan untuk menganalisis sentimen adalah SentiStrength. Dari hasil analisis sentimen tersebut, didapatkanlah 93 tweet Beauty Shaming (33,7%), 117 tweet netral (43,2%), dan 63 tweet non-Beauty Shaming (23,1%) dari 273 tweet pengguna.

Abstract

This research is a mixed method research using an explanatory design. The purpose of this study is to use Elista to assess a lecturer's response to thesis guidance based on the lecturer's gender. This study was condi-cted in Jambi University, involving 330 female and 359 male lecturers respectively. The sampling method used was purposive sampling technique, with the sample criterion being academics who became thesis su-pervisors. Interviews and surveys on Elista were conducted and the responses were gathered. The goal of this study is to establish a technology-based final project guidance system in which it is explored if the thesis supervisor's speedy response to guidance at Elista is affected by the gender of the thesis supervisor. The findings of the study demonstrate that female supervisors respond faster than male supervisors when em-ploying technology such as Elista to carry out the guidance procedure. Elista improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the guidance process between supervisors and students in terms of implementation.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan tracer study yang dikelola oleh Unit Pelaksana Teknis Kemahasiswaan Universitas Jambi yang telah berjalan saat ini dianggap masih kurang optimal, pelaksanaan tracer study yang masih menggunakan layanan google formulir membuat data tracer study tersimpan kedalam banyak file dan belum tersimpan dalam sebuah database Universitas Jambi. Selain potensi kehilangan file-file data tracer study sangat mungkin terjadi, belum tersimpannya data tracer study kedalam sebuah database yang terpusat mengakibatkan data tracer study belum dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pemenuhan data aplikasi Borang Universitas Jambi dan Sistem Laporan Kinerja Universitas Jambi. Oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada saat ini, maka akan dilakukan penelitian pengembangan sistem informasi untuk pelaksanaan tracer study di Universitas Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model prototype, karena penelitian yang dilakukan adalah implementasi terhadap sebuah rancangan maka penelitian ini melakukan dua tahapan dalam prototype yaitu tahapan Construction of Prototype dan tahapan Deployment Delivery and Feedback. Hasil penelitian berupa sebuah perangkat lunak Sistem Informasi Tracer Study yang telah diuji aspek fungctionality, efficiency, portability dan evaluasi pada persepsi kemudahan penggunaan software oleh end user. Hasil pengujian perangkat lunak pada aspek functionality adalah 1 (baik), nilai aspek efficiency yang diperoleh adalah 0.483 dimana angka tersebut menunjukan nilai yang baik, hasil pengujian portability menunjukan sistem tidak mengalami masalah pada web browser dan pengujian usability diperoleh nilai persentase 85% yang artinya sistem yang diterapkan telah dianggap sangat layak oleh pengguna sistem.
