Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the optimization of the application of authentic assessment and the factors that influence the application of authentic assessment in learning English in Al-Izhar Junior High School, Pekanbaru. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with an inductive descriptive approach. With the method of data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are in optimizing the application of authentic English learning assessment in Al-Izhar SMP-IT Pekanbaru City, researchers conclude that the English language teacher at Al-Izhar Pekanbaru IT Middle School has conducted an authentic assessment and needs to be improved again because there are still indicators that have not been implemented. The researcher's findings are that the teacher has: 1) measured all aspects of learning, namely performance and results or products, 2) conducted an assessment during the learning process until learning was completed, 3) used a verbal and written assessment in the form of vocabulary pronunciation and mastery of students' English vocabulary and writing, 4) using oral exams and written tests and not just based on tests, 5) giving assignments that reflect daily life and recounting experiences or activities on a daily basis, 6) emphasizing product quality or performance rather than single answers, 7) conduct in-depth assessments, 8) focus on developing students 'English proficiency, 9) develop mastery of learning material, 10) subject teachers in assessing students' emphasis on listening practice, listening skills, speaking , reading (reading) reading ) and writing ( writing ); and 11) instruments in the form of tests and non-tests. There are supporting factors and inhibiting factors, research findings on supporting factors in SMP-IT. Al-Izhar Pekanbaru City, namely: (1) the competency of the teacher, (2) the readiness of the students, (3) the principal's leadership pattern, (4) the realization of a conducive learning environment, and (5) the existence of extra-curricular activities. The inhibiting factors encountered by English subject teachers in applying authentic assessment are: a) the lack of socialization about the 2013 curriculum, because authentic assessment is basically a necessity in the 2013 curriculum; b) the assessment of attitudes in English subjects does not cover the whole assessment of attitudes that are not like the subjects of citizenship education and Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Sumatera selatan merupakan salah satu provinsi yang banyak didiami penduduk Tionghoa baik yang beragama non-muslim maupun mualaf.Menariknya etnik cina yang menganut agama Islam (muallaf) dan etnik Melayu Sriwijayayang memang beragama Islamsejak lahir dapat  hidup berdampingan secara akur dan damai terbukti dengan banyaknya kegiatan yang dilaksanakan khususnya di Masjid Cheng Ho. Masjid Cheng Ho Sriwijaya sebenarnya bernama Masjid Al Islam Muhammad Cheng Ho. Masjid ini didirikan atas prakarsa para sesepuh, penasehat, pengurus Persatuan Islam Tionghoa Indonesia (PITI), dan tokoh masyarakat Tionghoa disekitar Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan Penguatan Ukhwah Islamiyah dikalangan Masyarakat Tionghoa di Masjid Al Islam Muhammad Cheng Ho. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodelogi kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpul data dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung ke lapangan, wawancara mendalam (depth interview) dengan informan serta mendokumentasikan kegiatan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah Masjid Cheng Ho didirikan khusus untuk menghargai perjuangan dari penyebaran agama Islam terkhususnya penyebaran Islam di Kota Palembang yang dilakukan oleh Laksamana Cheng Ho dan para muslim Tiongkok lainnya. Corak bangunan masjid terdiri dari 3 perpaduan corak yakni perpaduan budaya Melayu Palembang, Tiongkok, dan Arab. Adapun fungsi masjid Cheng Ho tidak hanya tempat ibadah, akan tetapi Masjid Cheng Ho juga menghelat berbagai kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan dan kemasyarakatan, Masjid Cheng Ho juga dijadikan bukti bahwa di Indonesia yang memiliki masyarakat flural dapat mengekspresikan identitas mereka dengan percampuran tradisi dan budaya dalam konteks lokal Indonesia. Disamping itu, kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh pengurus Masjid Al-Islam Muhammad Cheng Ho Sriwijaya dalam meningkatkan ukhuwa islamiyah dengan melaksanakan ceramah Agama setiap ba’da dzuhur, ceramah Agama malam rabu dan ba’da magrib, kegiatan bulanan dan tahunan seperti ceramah agama yang mendatangkan ustad dari luar Sriwijaya, selain itu mengadakan event-event hari besar Islam, program penghafal Al-Qur’an, pembinaan muallaf bagi masyarakat Tionghoa pada khususnya dan masyarakat luar Tionghoa pada umumnya serta melakukan pendidikan dasar, melakukanpengajian, memperdalamayat-ayatAl-qur’antentangTahuhid, melakukandzikirbersama, majelis ta’lim, berkunjungketikaadasaudarayangtertimpa musibah, memperingatiharibesarIslam. Kegiatan Ukhuwa islamiyah di Masjid Al-Islam Muhammad Cheng Ho Sriwijaya sudah berjalan baik, akan tetapi masih terdapat faktor yang dapat merusak ukhuwah islamiyah itu sendiri yakni masih adanya perasangka buruk.

Abstract

Program Pengurangan Risiko Bencana (PRB) berbasis sekolah bertujuan menciptakan komunitas sekolah yang siaga terhadap bencana. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengindentifikasi peran guru dalam menyelenggarakan SSB dan Kebijakan Sekolah Siaga Bencana. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMPN1 Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian dengan Purvosive Sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu Siswa, guru Geografi dan Wakil Kurikulum. Berdsarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: tingkat pengetahuan siswa itu tergolong cukup baik dengan persentase 77,14 % dan tingkat pengetahuan guru nya cukup baik juga dengan persentase 76,79%. Untuk kebijakan sekolah siaga bencana di SMP N 1 Tarusan  pada tingka siswa tergolong Rendah sekali pada parameter kebijakan dengan persentase 11,42%, tergolong sangat rendah juga pada parameter rencana tanggap darurat dengan persentase 31,66% dan 20% pada parameter mobilisasi sumberdaya berarti juga tergolong rendah sekali sedangkan kebijakan sekolah siaga bencana di SMP N 1 Tarusan  pada tingkat guru tergolong Rendah sekali pada parameter kebijakan dengan persentase 30,36%, tergolong sangat rendah juga pada parameter rencana tanggap darurat dengan persentase 22,92% dan 17,5% pada parameter mobilisasi sumberdaya berarti juga tergolong rendah sekali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan adiwiyata dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa pada materi pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sikap peduli lingkungan siswa seperti siswa tidak memisahkan sampah organik dan anorganik, tidak menjaga kebersihan kelas, membuang dan membiarkan sampah di dalam kelas, serta kurangnya tanaman obat sebagai apotik hidup padahal sebelumnya sudah adanya penerapan adiwiyata di lingkungan pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IIS. Sedangkan objek dari penelitian ini adalah hubungan adiwiyata dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa, dengan populasi penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling seluruh kelas XI yaitu 60 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sigifikan antara adiwiyata dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa, hal ini ditunjukkan dari uji hipotesis yaitu nilai rhitung lebih besar dibandingkan dengan rtabel pada taraf signifikan 1% (0,734>0,330) maupun taraf signifikan 5% (0,734>0,254). Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa besarnya kontribusi antara adiwiyata dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa mencapai 53,8% sedangkan 46,2% dapat dipengaruhi variabel lain seperti faktor internal ataupun faktor eksternal

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out if there is significant relationship between students’ vocabulary knowledge and their speaking ability. The method used in this research is a correlation design which has two variables, variable X (vocabulary knowledge) and variable Y (speaking ability). The populations of this research were 275 of the second-grade students of MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru and the researcher take 28 students as the sample. The researcher employed Simple Random Sampling technique. In collecting data, the researcher distributed objective test and take an oral test. The researcher analyzed the data with Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula by using SPSS 23.0 version. The results of this research, students' vocabulary knowledge has an average score of 73.04, which is categorized as "good" their speaking ability has an average value of 76.36, which is categorized as "good". Of course, there is a significant correlation between the relationship between students' vocabulary knowledge and their speaking ability at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Indonesian traditional cuisine is one of the nation's wealth that must be preserved. Considering of foreign cuisine development which is more compatible with the tastes of the Indonesian people, especially the current millennial generation. The purpose of this community service is to give training to the community in preserving the Indonesian traditional cuisine and to give an understanding to the community of the importance of preserving traditional cuisine, especially pempek, in increasing communities’ income. The methods used in this activity were the lecturing and practicing method. As a result of this community service, the participants seemed enthusiastic in participating in each stage of the activity and hoped that activities could continue to increase knowledge and family income.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Augmented Reality (AR) technology utilization on students' level of learning interest in delivering learning materials. A literature review method was employed to gather and analyze relevant sources of data regarding the research topic. The research findings indicate that the use of AR technology in learning contributes positively to students' level of learning interest. AR provides an interactive, captivating learning experience that captures students' attention by presenting learning materials in visual and sensory formats. Moreover, AR also enhances students' learning motivation through enjoyable and satisfying learning experiences. These findings suggest that educators should actively integrate AR technology into learning to improve the quality and effectiveness of the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

Public speaking is an art of speaking in public or about a certain matter or topic orally with the goal of influencing, inviting, educating, changing opinions, giving explanations and providing information. The purpose of this research is to find out the students’ ability in speech material and to explain kinds of the factors that influence the students’ speech difficulties in public speaking. In this study, the researcher used Descriptive qualitative research method design. The kind of this research was gathered through instruments of the research: observation sheet to determine types of speech and method of speech will be used while giving a speech, interview students’ difficulties and documentation. The researcher obtained the students’ ability were 71% for the fourth semester students and 70, 5% for the sixth semester students who interest in English speech. The researcher found the students’ difficulties in Public Speaking, based on the interview questions that have been answered based on the factors are Pronunciation, Grammar, and Fluently, another difficulties are lack of self-confidence and not mastering the materials.
