Abstract

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has greatly impacted the world, especially in the field of education, therefore, with increasingly developing technological capabilities, the teaching and learning process in schools is also carried out online. This study aims to analyze the character values ​​of students, as well as describe the design of student character learning in accordance with Pancasila as the basis of the State, and students are able to instill character values ​​in everyday life. This research was conducted at MI TerpaduTahfidz Al Mubarak Langsa in grades 3 and 4 with 20 students per class, and 4th grade teachers. The data analysis method used is a qualitative method by applying field research, namely by field observations, by observing each object which is done online through a video call application. From the results of the analysis, it was known that the character of students in grades III and IV of Integrated MI Tahfidz Al Mubarak 80% is very in accordance with the values ​​of Pancasila because the learning system is carried out always under the supervision of parents and teachers with a maximum number of ten students in one online class. In one class there are two teachers who teach in each class, every day parents must send reports on student progress to their respective class teachers. This is also inseparable from the role of parents in educating their children at home even though the state of the teaching and learning process is carried out online.

Abstract

This study investigates the active involvement of elementary school teachers in laying the foundation for character education. Character education is essential for shaping the newer generation's moral, ethical, and responsible personalities. Primary school, as the first level of education, plays a crucial role in molding the character of children. Teachers serve as role models for their students by inspiriting, guiding, and assisting them to realize their highest character potential. The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth understanding of the active role of teachers in shaping students' character in elementary schools, including the ways in which teachers engage in character education, the strategies they employ, and the challenges they encounter. The study also intends to assess the efficacy of character education implemented by instructors in shaping the character of students. The results demonstrate that instructors play a crucial role in shaping the character of their students. The implementation of character education in elementary schools requires a concerted and persistent effort to create a learning environment that supports and inspires the development of good character.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze trend in obtaining career information in the digital era within the context of post-COVID-19 career anxiety. This was a comparative descriptive study and the data were obtained through random sampling. The sample consisted of 267 students randomly selected from various universities in East Aceh. Furthermore, career anxiety scale was used as the main measurement tool, which has high reliability with Cronbach's alpha of 0.85 and item reliability in Rasch 0.98. Descriptive analysis and ANOVA test were used to analyze the data. The results showed significant differences in level of post-COVID-19 career anxiety based on gender and addiction level. However, in the context of career information, there were no statistically significant differences. Another interesting result was that career information from friends remained trend in the digital era, and this trend persisted till present. Therefore, the results of this study can be used as a basis for the development of programs to overcome career anxiety.
