Abstract

The people of Kuwaron Village, especially residents of RT.01 RW.04, have recently had problems of environmental damage, namely floods during the rainy season and drought during the dry season. The impact is the reduction of water catchment areas around the houses of residents of Kuwaron Village RT.01 RW.04. The purpose of this activity is to provide insight and skills regarding applying appropriate techniques for porous infiltration holes. In the hope of increasing groundwater reserves, reducing inundation, and accelerating water infiltration in residents' yards. The bio-pore-making training involved several residents of Kuwaron Village. Bio pores are made with a diameter of 10 cm and a depth of 100 cm. Then, the hole filled with organic kitchen waste. That is expected to reduce organic kitchen waste from each house because porous infiltration holes containing garbage invite various soil fauna and form pores to increase groundwater infiltration. The results of the evaluation of bio pores installation for four weeks showed that the rain puddles in the residents' yards receded faster.

Abstract

Due to the increasing number of Hajj pilgrims, the need for accommodating them has also risen. Therefore, a redesign is necessary to enhance the capacity of accommodating the pilgrims. The Analysis and Structural Planning of the Hajj Dormitory Semarang using ETABS software in compliance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The redesign of the Hajj dormitory aims to augment the housing capacity for prospective Hajj pilgrims. The Revised Structural Planning for the Five-Story Hajj Dormitory Building Semarang aims to analyze and redesign the structure of the dormitory. This involves utilizing concrete quality of 24.9 MPa for the upper structure and 30 MPa for the lower structure, with main reinforcement using 420 MPa, while secondary reinforcement uses 280 MPa. The structural analysis approach involves inputting geometric data, loads, and material characteristics, including desired concrete and steel qualities, into the ETABS software. The analysis adheres to the SNI guidelines governing building loads, seismic resilience, and other structural safety factors. The analysis results provide insight into the structural response spectrum, with a mass participation of UX 99.98% and UY 99.19%. Control Base Shear Vdynamic > Vstatic, with Eq Dx > Eq Sx and Eq Dy > Eq Sy, is 8623.266 > 8563.3067 and 7928.0409 > 7722.4166. The maximum story displacement due to dynamic seismic motion in the X and Y directions is 14.33 mm and 15.95 mm. Meanwhile, the story drift with an Inelastic Drift value less than 61.5 mm for safety building permissible deviation. The largest permissible deviations obtained for the X and Y directions are 18.816 mm and 20.554 mm.

Abstract

Fire disaster is one of the disasters that is very detrimental to the community both in terms of casualties and property and assets that are invaluable. Building A University of Semarang (USM) and the assets in it are very important things to maintain. Several USM buildings have been equipped with facilities regarding fire preparedness, but most of the USM buildings also do not have these facilities completely. Apart from the facilities, the building occupants' knowledge of fire disaster preparedness cannot yet be known to what extent their understanding is. Evaluation of infrastructure which refers to the standards set by the government needs to be carried out. This can increase awareness and can also minimize losses that can occur. So that activities that take place in the USM area can run well and calmly. There is a significant relationship with a strong enough to strong and positive direction correlation level between the combination of the relationship between 2 variables consisting of HR, Program, and Facilities variables. The residents of building A USM are considered to be ready to face the risk of fire disasters, although the current condition of supporting facilities for fire disaster preparedness is deemed necessary to be added. Abstract

This structural planning of building that located in Mijen district is expected to became a practical economic center, complate, enjoy, and safety for society. The planning building based on Indonesian national standart regulation (SNI). SNI (2847-2019) “On structural concrete requirements for the buildings” and SNI (1726-2019) “Procedures for planning and earthquake resistance for the building and non building”. For the planning is include of planning top and bottom structure that have a model of software ETABS 18 and Sp Column as a helper software. For the top structure it means include of the planning of roofs, beams, plat, column, and shearwall. Meanwhile the bottom structure it means include of foundations planning. This building is planned earthquake resistance based on earthquake data from website of Puskim-Kementrian PU. Based on the result of this structure is using double system with the special moment resisting frames and special slidding wall structural as a building earthquake resistance system. The result of this analysis is deviation between the floors direction X and Y is safety for service limit it, meanwhile for the analyse of vibration have fullfiled the rules. This is shows that the planning building can hold an earthquake resistance planning and had a good response during the earthquake.
