Abstract

Maintenance and repair of household electrical appliances for the Rukun community Residents 09 Bunulrejo Village / Kec. Blimbing - Malang City, gives additional the skills and motivation for the Rukun Community of 09 Bunulrejo Village for practice maintenance and repair of household electrical appliances for the Rukun community Residents 09 Bunulrejo Village. Abstract

SMK Negeri I Kepanjen- Kabupaten Malang . khususnya Program Studi Teknik elektronika yang sedang mengembangkan modul praktek guna mempersiapkan dan menambah jumlah modul untuk anak didiknya khususnya siswa SMK. Untuk sasat ini yang keinginan untuk mengembangkan modul praktek khususnya berkaitan dengan PLC. Berdasarkan metode yang diterapkan maka dapat dicapai hasil antara lain : Metode materi, dan peragaan yang dilaksanakan dapat efektif mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan, jika dikaitkan dengan keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan.Peserta pelatihan Teknik Perancangan dan pemrograman PLC Untuk Pengajar Program Studi Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Elektronika di SMKN I Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang perserta pelatihan dapat melihat langsung peralatan yang dipasang. Peserta pelatihan dapat terampil melakukan praktek Teknik Perancangan dan pemrograman PLC secara sederhana dengan baik dan standart. Peserta pelatihan dapat mengatasi sendiri , jika ada permasalahan atau kerusakan praktek Teknik Perancangan dan pemrograman PLC Peserta dapat menikmati secara langsung hasil dari praktek Teknik Perancangan dan pemrograman PLC

Abstract

The installation of lighting and running text in the housing gate is expected to provide lighting around the gate so that it is clearly seen if there are vehicles passing by. In addition, with the upgrade of the information board using an electronic board (running text) it becomes very clear and beautiful both in the morning and at night.

Abstract

The transformer insulation system in the form of oil-immersed paper, is the most important part of a transformer. This isolation system needs to be ensured that it has the appropriate characteristics, and is resistant to stress due to transformer operation. The most commonly used method for evaluating insulation life is the accelerated thermal aging test. Insulating oil-immersed paper is sealed in a vessel with a ratio in the Accelerated Thermal Aging Chamber with a volume capacity of 3600 ml. It takes about 3000 ml of oil to be poured into a tube with a ratio of insulating oil to insulating paper rolled on copper which is 10:1 and then heated in a thermal oven to accelerate aging. This study aims to develop an Accelerated Aging Chamber for evaluating the performance of transformer isolation systems. The developed test cell is able to reach a set-point of 150°C in 16 minutes with on/off control while PID control in 37 minutes with a Human Machine Interface for monitoring and collecting temperature data in real time, and maintaining that temperature until the end of the experimental period. Theresults of the sample will later be tested for the characteristics of the transformer insulation, namely tensile strength, color scale, andbreakdown voltage due to thermal stress.

Abstract

Planning here aims to get an optimal service flexibility so that it is able to quickly anticipate the growth of electrical energy and how dense the load that must be served. So that the planning of the electricity distribution network system must pay attention to the load conditions in the field, this is intended so that the planned distribution network system can still work well for the next few years. The data collection method used is in the form of field observations which aim to determine field conditions and obtain load data that will be planned. The results of research conducted at The Grand Kenjeran Surabaya housing show that there are 76 housing units to be built in this housing. The 76 housing units will be divided into 4 blocks D, E, F, G and are planned with an initial power of 5500 VA for each housing unit along with Public Road Planning in residential areas. Taking into account field conditions, ground cables are used as a distribution network system which includes SKTM and SKTR. The total power obtained is 435,107.5 VA and is served by 3 units of distribution transformer using Pole Transformer Substation, 3 PHB-TR, 12 Main PHB, and 3 Branch PHB. The magnitude of the possible voltage drop is around 0.97% for medium voltage, 0.3% - 0.92% for Main PHB group, 0.7% - 1.54% for Branch PHB group.

Abstract

One of the alternative generators in supplying electrical energy is a 3-phase generator made from a 3-phase slip ring induction motor, after which the rotor winding is supplied with a DC source and rotated using a prime mover. The problem arises because of the large % voltage regulation of a 3-phase generator when it is under load. This is because the induction generator has a relatively larger voltage loss when loaded with a certain load compared to a 3-phase synchronous generator. To overcome these conditions, there are several ways that can be used to stabilize the voltage from the generator, namely: setting the excitation current from the generator, setting the connection on the rotor windings (using 2 windings or using 3 rotor windings) and a combination of the two steps above. . Based on the results of experiments that have been carried out, it is known that the method of stabilizing the output voltage by setting the rotor winding connection is less effective than setting the excitation current because it turns out that the results of changing the output voltage are not too significant compared to changing the generator excitation current. In addition, it is also known that the stabilization of the output voltage from an inductive load will require a DC voltage that is greater than when under a resistive load because of the large difference in losses.

Abstract

The Kebon Agung sugar factory has two power supplies, namely from the PLTU Kebon Agung sugar factory itself and from PLN. There are 3 synchronized generators at the Kebun Agung Sugar Factory, with a power of 4.5 MW on generators 1,2 and 1,6 MVA on generator 3. The difference in power between generators 1,2 and 3 causes frequent interference with generator 3 because it has less power. This Final Project analyzes load sharing and load shedding using MATLAB Simulink R2013a. Through these simulations it is shown the division of the load from each generator during normal conditions or when one generator is released. see the effect of the generator that has been set to speed droop when load sharing conditions, the speed of droop is varied so that it knows the characteristics of the generator that has been set speed droop. In the Final Project, the simulation value and calculation of the speed droop setting value in the Kebon Agung sugar factory is ideal. Because ideally the setting of speed droop in the settings so it is not too sensitive and not too long in responding to changes in load that occur in the system.

Abstract

To support the creative economy, creative ideas are needed which are then transformed into concrete reality. One of the concrete creative ideas is art craftsmen, for example, painting, sculpture, three-dimensional art, sculpture and many more. The promising craft today is the souvenir craft, which has various forms and functions. In this research, the authors specialize in the craft of engraved souvenirs where most of these craftsmen still work on their crafts using conventional media. The purpose of this research is to design and manufacture a prototype CNC Laser Engraver machine with a microcontroller with wireless data communication which is expected to help improve the quality of the production of souvenir craftsmen. The method used is an experimental method in the form of designing, manufacturing and testing the mechanical work of each linear axis of the CNC Laser Engraver machine. With this research it is hoped that a control system scheme for a prototype CNC Laser Engraver machine can be obtained, to be applied to a real CNC Laser Engraver machine. From the results of testing this machine prototype, some data was obtained, namely a machine with three axes of motion, a microcontroller for wireless communication, a laser module with a diode capacity of 1000 mW and a maximum work area of 38 mm x 38 mm x 20 mm, which can help small industries and businesses. small and medium enterprises in the production process of various forms of creative carvings for various materials

Abstract

The low power factor in the electricity installation of Sumber Wendit 3 water pumping stations causes a bill of excess reactive energy usage or kVARh, so that the cost of using electricity becomes higher. The excess use of reactive energy can be compensated by additional investment in installing capacitor banks in the main distribution panel (MDP) Sumber Wendit 3 water pump station. Based on the data and problems, it is planned to install capacitor banks that meet the standards with a target of 0.90 and 0.95 lagging. From the results of the planning, we need 150 kVAR and 250 kVAR capacitors, with an investment value of Rp. 94,983,790 and - Rp. 120,781,210. After an investment feasibility test using the Payback Period (PP) method, it is known that for a 150 kVAR bank capacitors, the investment return is technically 2.88 months and economically is 4.01 and 3.17 months. For 250 kVAR bank capacitors, the return on investment is technically 3.66 months and economically 5.1 and 4.03 months. When compared with the economic life of the investment is 10 years, the investment of the bank capacitor installation project is very profitable and feasible to carry out.

Abstract

Generator induksi 3 fasa bisa digunakan sebagai generator cadangan dari operasi generator sinkron 3 fasa. Generator induksi 3 fasa dapat dibuat dari motor induksi slip ring 3 fasa atau motor sangkar 3 fasa untuk generator induksi SEIG (Self Excited Induction Generator). Motor induksi slip ring 3 fasa berfungsi sebagai generator induksi setelah belitan rotornya disuplai sumber DC dan diputar menggunakan prime mover, sedangkan pada generator SEIG, tegangan listrik dihasilkan dengan bantuan 3 kapasitor yang terhubung delta. Permasalahan yang muncul dalam pengoperasian adalah timbulnya rugi tegangan saat dilaksanakan variasi pembebanan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut maka diadakan 3 jenis pengetesan (DC Test, Open Circuit Test dan Load Test) pada kedua generator tesebut. Setelah semua percobaan dilaksanakan dan dianalisa maka diketahui bahwa besarnya tegangan output dari generator induksi 3 fasa dipengaruhi oleh besarnya kecepatan generator dan besarnya arus eksitasi. Proses eksitasi dari kedua generator tersebut berbeda, eksitasi dari generator SEIG ditentukan besar dan jenis hubungan kapasitor eksitasi sedangkan generator induksi lainnya ditentukan oleh besarnya tegangan DC yang disuplaikan ke belitan rotor. Tegangan output dari kedua generator induksi juga dipengaruhi oleh besar dan jenis bebannya. Diketahui pula bahwa generator induksi SEIG mempunyai rugi tegangan dan regulasi tegangan yang lebih besar dikarenakan harga parameter belitannya lebih besar. Untuk menstabilkan tegangan output generator maka dapat dilaksanakan dengan mengatur besarnya arus eksitasi dan kecepatan dari kedua generator induksi tersebut, dengan tetap memperhatikan kemampuan belitan eksitasi dan frekuensi yang dibutuhkan oleh beban serta kesediaan kapasitor untuk generator SEIG.
