Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui apakah teknik Acting Play Script (APS) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris mahasiswa; (2) menggambarkan sejauh mana teknik APS dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris mahasiswa; dan (3) menggambarkan respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan teknik APS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Inggris dengan teknik APS yang dilaksanakan bulan September sampai Desember 2018 di IAIN Surakarta dengan subject penelitian mahasiswa semester I jurusan Bimbingan Konseling Islam, Fakultas Da’wah IAIN Surakarta, Tahun akademik 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistic deskriptif. Sementara data kualitatif menggunakan teknik Constant-comparative oleh Strauss and Glasser. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Penggunaan teknik APS dalam drama bahasa Inggris dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa inggris mahasiswa; (2) APS dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa inggris mahasiswa dalam hal: peningkatan prestasi dalam berbicara bahasa Inggris; b. peningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengekspresikan ide-ide dalam bentuk grammar dan kosa kata; dan meningkatkan pelafalan bahasa Inggris yang benar; (3) Respon mahasiswa terhdapan teknik APS pada kelas speaking adalah positif karena APS itu menyenangkan, menarik dan menantang. APS memberikan motivasi yang bagus dan meningkatkan semangangat para mahasiswa, jadi mereka termotivasi untuk berbicara bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This policy of limited face-to-face meetings (PTM) indicates that 50% of students have been allowed to study in schools, while the rest still hold learning at home. Thus, the presence of parents in assisting children's education is very important, especially when learning online at home during the covid 19 pandemic. Social mobility, increasing and enriching scientific information are very necessary for parents because they assist their children for 24 hours in educating and teaching science and morals. This research applied library research. Secondary data was a data collection technique used in this study classified indirectly to the object of study. Secondary data sources were obtained from national and international journals related to distance learning during the covid-19 pandemic and children's moral education according to Ibnu Sina. Technique of data analysis was carried out through four stages encompassing data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. According to Ibnu Sina’s perspective in educating children, parents must understand the purpose of educating children, the children's education curriculum, children's learning processes, children's learning methods. If the sequence is understood and done as well as possible, it will be easy to educate and teach children in any condition, including during covid pandemic period.

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in learning for mentally retarded children at SLB CG-YPPCG Bina Sejahtera Surakarta. This study aims to describe the strategies and methods used by teachers in learning. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of research being Islamic religious education teachers. In collecting data, the author uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's analytical model through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that in the learning process, teachers use individual approaches, expository strategies and Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL). The method used by the teacher is the lecture method, question and answer, repetition and demonstration.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the tahsin method in reading the Qur'an to students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were students of grade 5A Madrasah Ibtidayyah Negeri 6 Sukoharjo. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that students are able to follow and can also improve their ability to read the Qur'an through the tahsin method in learning tahfidz. Factors supporting the use of the tahsin method are: the intention and readiness in students, the ability of qualified teachers, the creativity of teachers in the use of methods and the existence of targets in learning. While the inhibiting factors are: lack of teacher control in learning, the feeling of laziness in students, lack of awareness and support of parents in learning tahsin. Nevertheless, the use of the tahsin method shows a success rate of 80% of students' fluency in reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

This service provider is an organization under the auspices of the Nurul Iman Ta'lim Assembly Organization (MTNI) Karanganyar Regency This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the role of ustadz and ustadzah on the fluency of reading the Koran for elderly students at Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School, Karanganyar Regency. In this study, a qualitative descriptive method was used, namely analyzing events and understanding existing phenomena, then creating a comprehensive and complex picture. The results of this study show how the role of an ustadz and ustadzah in the fluency of reading the Qur'an, inhibiting factors and supporting factors of ustadz and ustadzah on the fluency of reading the Qur'an of elderly students Nurul Iman. The results showed that there were several factors that became obstacles in improving the ability to read the Qur'an of elderly students, namely: 1) the motivation and interest of the elderly were not evenly distributed, 2) the lack of time to listen to the readings of the students one by one, 3) number of students. The supporting factors are: 1) board of caregivers, 2) motivation from the board, 3) personal factors, 4) family factors.
