Abstract

Roses can grow and develop well in Karangpring Village because of ecological conditions that are in accordance with the requirements for growing roses. In accordance with the roadmap, the service team in the third year will start developing Karangpring as a tourist village. This is in line with the village government's work plan which will build a typical tourist attraction in Karangpring Village. The roses, which are the superior products of Karangpring Village, do not yet have a special destination location to be visited. The location planned by the village government as a tourist village object will be used as a rose cultivation land. The service team will design and implement a mini landscape that tourists can visit. This third year, the service team will work with Pokdarwis Paradis. People get additional knowledge and skills on how to make processed rose-based preparations.It is hoped that through the utilization of the village's potential as a tourist village, it will be able to increase the attractiveness of Karangpring Village, so as to be able to open market opportunities and improve the community's economy. Abstract

A good planting media for tobacco has the characteristics of being able to maintain moisture in plant roots, provide sufficient oxygen, and contain nutrients. Physically, a good growing media is not too dense, so it can help the formation and development of plant roots, has good aerase, not a source of disease, abundant and the price is relatively cheap. This research mixed mushroom planting media waste with animal manure and coffee liquid waste to be used as a media for tobacco seedling. The ability of the new plant media that has been created then be tested with tobacco seedling. The objectives of this study were to determine the effect of addition chicken and cow manure on the manufacture of new planting media on tobacco growth, and the effect of adding coffee liquid waste to the manufacture of new planting media on tobacco growth. Result of analysis of variance showed significant effect on parameter seedling height, diameter, and root length. The highest addition of coffee liquid waste showed the greatest seedling height. The biggest seedling stem diameter were seedling planted in media added by cow mannure. Moreover, interaction between plant media variation and coffee liquid waste also showed significantly affected the root length of tobacco seedling. Addition 40% concentration and less of coffee liquid waste to plant media made root length greater.

Abstract

Utilization organic fertilizers is one of the efforts from agricultural sector to preserve the environment. The application of organic fertilizer not only reduces the use of inorganic fertilizers but also reduces the accumulation of waste and increases the quality of crop yields at the right dose and type. This study utilizes waste substrate from straw mushroom growing media as a mixture plant medium for Tobacco. The fertilizer used is made from liquid coffee waste, cow urine, goat urine, and Kipahit plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the pH, NPK content, C-organic liquid organic fertilizer, determine the effect of the application of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of Tobacco, and the content of dissolved protein, carbohydrates, and total chlorophyll in Tobacco. The results of laboratory analysis showed the pH value of liquid organic fertilizer meets the Minimum Technical requirements of Organic Fertilizer, Biological Fertilizer and Soil Improver, but the levels of NPK and C-organic do not meet the requirements. Application of liquid organic fertilizer showed a very significant effect on tobacco plant height. The nutrient content of N is strongly correlated with the soluble protein in tobacco plants.

Abstract

Tembakau (Nicotiana tabacum L,) adalah komoditas perkebunan yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Pengolahan pasca panen dilakukan untuk mempertahankan potensi mutu tanaman tembakau. Tahap pengeringan menentukan kualitas daun tembakau hasil olahan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan teknik dan lama pengeringan yang berbeda terhadap kualitas dan beberapa karakteristik daun tembakau rajangan. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Petak Terbagi dengan pola dasar Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Penelitian ini disusun secara faktorial 2 x 4 dan diulang seanyak 3 kali. Faktor I adalah teknik pengeringan terdiri 2 taraf yaitu, pengeringan luar, dan pengeringan oven manual. Faktor II adalah lama pengeringan terdiri 4 taraf yaitu, 2 hari, 3 hari, 4 hari, dan 5 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada interaksi antara teknik dan lama pengeringan terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Teknik pengeringan berpengaruh terhadap variabel penurunan kadar air dengan perlakuan terbaik yaitu oven manual. Lama pengeringan berpengaruh terhadap variabel penurunan kadar air, dan nilai L/ kecerahan dengan perlakuan terbaik selama 5 hari.

Abstract

Kopi (Coffea spp.) adalah salah satu komoditas perkebunan yang penting bagi Indonesia karena dapat menunjang peningkatan ekspor sebagai penghasil devisa negara. Masyarakat Indonesia adalah konsumen kopi yang sangat tinggi, sehingga peningkatan usaha produksi kopi harus dilakukan agar kebutuhan konsumsi kopi domestik serta ekspor dapat terpenuhi. Pengolahan biji kopi pascapanen tidak terlepas dari beberapa permasalahan yang ada salah satunya adalah kerusakan pada saat penyimpanan biji. Penyimpanan biji oleh petani pada dilakukan dengan memasukkan biji ke dalam karung goni dan disimpan di gudang. Beberapa praktek penyimpanan dengan menggunakan wadah yang berbeda seperti karung goni, karung plastik, dan karung kain diduga berpengaruh terhadap proses perubahan fisik biji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas dari biji kopi robusta yang disimpan dengan ukuran biji dan bahan wadah yang berbeda. Percobaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah fisik biji kopi, antara lain bentuk, warna, serta kandungan air.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang sapi dan interval pemberian air terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman stevia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2021-Februari 2022 di lahan PT. DSR Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang. Percobaan ini dilakukan secara faktorial menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT) dengan pola dasar Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 ulangan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interval pemberian air 3 hari sekali berpengaruh nyata pada variabel tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang.
