Abstract

The Internet has the potential to provide universal and easy access to the various types of information services on a single multi-service, but unreliable quality connection can sometime prevent access to the Internet altogether. There are many efforts have been started to resolve the Internet access problem. The main idea behind them is to provide a set of objective parameters that can be used to compare and negotiate in a network. Relatively little emphasis has been put on issues concerning end users, especially on the relationship of user perception and Quality of Service parameters.  In order to implement Quality of Service schemes successfully, users must be taken into account to establish users´ subjective perceptions of Quality of Service.This paper is concerned to the study of mechanism of providing Quality of Service specification for Internet access in low-quality connection. We propose the conceptual model for the specification of user access and allow the users to specify their subjective preferences through the Quality of Service parameters. This model provides the alternative option for user access if resource availability in the system is limited. The user is given opportunity to define their access and determine the parameter for each application which they are chosen. The system will check the resource availability and then compare to the user preferences. In the case resource availability is lower than user preferences, the system can exchange to another option as determined by user requirements.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi status gizi adalah kebiasaan makan. Makanan sehari – hari yang kurang memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan gizi akan mengancam kesehatan keluarga. Disamping itu juga nafsu makan keluarga berkurang dan jika hal itu berlangsung lama akan berpengaruh pada status gizi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Ibu Dalam Memilih Makanan Sehari-hari Dalam Keluarga di Rt 25 Rw 09 Lingkungan Tirtoudan Kelurahn Tosaren Kecamatan Pesantren Kota Kediri. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Crosssesional dengan populasinya semua ibu di RT 25 RW 09 Lingkungan Tirtoudan . Sampelnya berjumlah 61 responden yang merupakan total populasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan data diolah dengan uji statistik menggunakan Regresi Linier Dummy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan gizi ibu yang baik sebanyak 44 responden (72%). Pendidikan ibu sebagian besar adalah SMA sebesar 23 (38%), dan pekerjaan ibu sebagian besar adalah wiraswasta sebanyak 24 (39%). Perilaku ibu dalam memilih makanan sehari-hari yang bergizi dalam keluarga sebanyak 42 responden (68%). Hasil uji statistik di dapatkan nilai P-value = 0,000. Karena nilai P = 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 di Tolak maka pengetahuan gizi mempengaruhi perilaku ibu dalam memilih makanan sehari-hari dalam keluarga di Rt 25 Rw 09 Lingkungan Tirtou Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan Gizi , Perilaku Ibu ABSTRACT One of the factors that influence nutritional status is eating habits. Meals a day - a day that does not meet the requirements of health and nutrition would threaten the health of the family. Besides, it also decreases appetite families and if it lasts a long time will have an effect on nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to determine the Factors Affecting Behavior Mothers In Choosing Everyday Foods In The Family Environment Rt 25 Rw 09 Tirtoudan Kelurahn Tosaren Kediri City School District. This research uses Crosssesional the population of all mothers in RT 25 RW 09 neighborhood Tirtoudan. The sample amounted to 61 respondents who constitute the total population. Analysis of the data by using a questionnaire and the data processed by the statistical test using Linear Regression Dummy. The results showed good maternal nutrition knowledge as much as 44 respondents (72%). Mothers education is the most high by 23 (38%), and most of the work is self-employed mothers were 24 (39%). Maternal behavior in choosing everyday foods are nutritious in the family as much as 42 respondents (68%). Results of statistical tests on the get P-value = 0.000. Since the value of P = 0.000

Abstract

Health cost becomes a significant problem of health care services in the plenary. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control of the utilization of advance services belongs to BPJS Kesehatan members.This research utilixing the cross sectional research design. The population is all inpatients participants BPJS Kesehatan at Kabupaten Kediri General Hospital for 97 respondents. The samples in this research were taken using simple random sampling technique, for 78 respondents. The independent variable is the attitude, subjektive norms, and perceived behavioral control while the dependent variable utilization of inpatient services continued.In this research, the results showed that there are 75 respondents (96.2%) who have a positive attitude, 67 respondents (85.9%) who have a positive subjective norm, 61 respondents (78.2%) who have a positive perceived behavior control and 76 respondents (97.4%) which utilizes advanced inpatient services. Results of analysis using logistic regression with ? = 0.05 showed that the sig. 0,000 < 0,05 so that H0 is rejected. The conclusion of this research is attitudes, subjektive norms, and perceived behavioral control has a significant influence on the utilization of inpatient services continued.  Keywords: attitude, perceived behavioral control, subjective norm, utilization of advanced inpatient services.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of transformational leadership, communication and supply chain information sharing system on a commitment to change and examine the mediating effect of readiness for change. The data were collected through a survey of 320 health workers in the hospitals of East Java who were involved in the implementation plan of the hospital service system and PL-SEM was used to test the hypotheses. The results of statistical analysis showed that transformational leadership and communication had a positive influence on the commitment to change, and the readiness for change significantly mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and commitment to change. However, it did not mediate communication and commitment to change. The study was carried out cross-sectional in government hospital institutions so that the limitations occurred in recognizing the development of the phenomenon under study.

Abstract

E-books as a learning medium have been widely used and utilized to support learning processes. The presence of e-books as digital books can be accepted by users because of the interactive content and display. However, the current format of e-book has not provided a mechanism/platform that accommodates contemporary learning styles on a two-way networked learning basis. E-books are more static in the sense that it has minimal interaction context. E-books have not been able to integrate learners with their learning environment in an interaction construct to support a learning activity. To address this problem, this study recommends a new approach called context-aware and collaborative mobile learning system design model. The method used in implementing the design model is design thinking. Usability testing using the guerrilla usability testing method is carried out to determine the quality of the e-books produced. The results obtained at the stages of empathize and define produced list and learning problems experienced by students when using e-books. The ideate and prototype stages produced e-book prototypes developed based on context-aware and collaborative mobile learning system design model. In the test stage, usability testing of 30 students showed good results. It is said to be good because there are no assignments with a score of one in the rubric usability testing table. So it can be concluded that the design model applied to the prototype e-book is feasible and can be understood by users.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze changes in organizational culture in hospitals in the face of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the New Normal. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach and data collection techniques through interviews and document review. Research informants as many as 4 people, the Chairman of the Foundation as a representative of the owner and representatives of top management as key informants, for triangulation informants represented by the Head of the Internal Control Unit and representatives of Middle Management and a document review was carried out. Data analysis used the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) method. The results show that the dominant organizational culture before the Covid-19 pandemic was Clan and during the pandemic it became Hierarchy and Adhocracy became the expected culture. This finding indicates that before the pandemic the organization became a fun place like family and during the pandemic it became structured, controlled and there were procedures for each activity. The expected culture is that the organization becomes a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and innovative place. To integrate adhocracy culture into the organization, there are several things that must be done: 1). Anticipating needs, 2) Continuous improvement; 3) Finding creative solutions; 4) Creating new standards; 5) Encouraging innovation 5) Creating new opportunities/customers; 6) Dare to take risks.

Abstract

This paper proposes an improved electricity efficiency method using an infrared sensor and internet of things (IoT). Almost all field of human work require electrical energy, especially for household needs. The averages household has many lamps in each room, so if it is not controlled, it will be wasteful of energy. However, this work is carried out to gain a better understanding of a new method for saving energy. The main advantage of this work is the simplification of the sensor used, in which only the infrared sensor required. Although the proposed approach faces numerous challenges, it successfully provides result as parameters that it can be processed rapidly using low-cost microcontrollers. The idea is based on the microcontroller and internet implementation with infrared sensor to monitor the number of people in home to control the lamp light intensity. The idea is proven in two ways: design and experiment. In this paper, the implementation of Raspberry Pi and Arduino is created to monitor the number of people in room and control the lamp intensity through internet or web. Arduino uses for the sensor processing and Raspberry Pi as server. The web is used to display the monitoring result by retrieving data from database that created using MySQL. The result indicates that the electricity bill decreased between 7.7-8.2% over 2 months implementation. The conclusion of this study suggests that the research in this area could be directed toward to be used in saving electricity usage in human life, especially for household.

Abstract

MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KARAKTER KERJA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUANAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran karakter kerja di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengembangan model menggunakan pendekatan R D model ADDIE. Pengembangan model diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan karakter kerja melalui observasi ke SMK Negeri 2 Depok Sleman, SMK Mikael Surakarta, dan beberapa industri terkait. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan 13 indikator karakter kerja yang perlu ditanamkan kepada siswa SMK, meliputi: disiplin, loyalitas, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, profesional, jujur, toleransi, kepemimpinan, kerja sama dalam tim, kemampuan beradaptasi, kreatif, inovasi, dan kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah. Model pembelajaran dikembangkan sesuai prosedur desain instruksional. Rancangan pembelajaran untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kerja tersebut dimplementasikan secara eksplisit dalam silabus dan rencana pembelajaran. Nilai-nilai karakter kerja diintegrasikan dalam setiap mata pelajaran terutama mata pelajaran praktik. Model pembelajaran karakter kerja melibatkan dunia usaha dan industri sebagai mitra sekolah dalam proses pembelajaran. Mekanisme yang diterapkan yaitu dengan mengundang dunia usaha dan industri untuk secara berkala memberikan pemahaman tentang budaya kerja di dunia kerja kepada para siswa SMK.AbstractThis study was aimed at developing a work character learning model in the vocational school. This study used qualitative and quantitative methods. The study used the model development of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) approach Research and Development (R D). The model development began with the analysis of work characters needed through observation conducted in State Vocational School 2 in Depok Sleman, Mikael Vocational School in Surakarta, and some related industries. The results show that 13 work character indicators need to be implemented namely discipline, loyalty, hard work, responsibility, professionalism, honesty, tolerance, leadership, teamwork, adaptability, creativity, innovation, and problem solving capability. The learning model was developed according to the instructional design procedure. The design of learning to instill the values of work characters is implemented explicitly in the syllabus and lesson plans. The values of work characters are integrated in each subject especially the practice subjects. The school partners (i.e. industry and business parties) are included in the learning process of this model. The mechanism applied is by inviting the business and the industry parties periodically to provide an understanding of work cultures to the students
