Abstract

Penelitian ini mengelaborasi tentang model pelatihan dalam perbaikan kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Islam pada Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Jayapura dengan variabel perencanaan pelatihan, Jenis Kegiatan Pelaksanaan pelatihan, Metode pelatihan, materi pelatihan, penentuan instruktur, Jadwal pelatihan, Sarana Pelatihan, Peserta Pelatihan dan Evaluasi pelatihan. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatannya adalah fenomenologis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Balai Diklat, Widyaiswara BDK, Staf BDK, Ketua MGMP, Sekertaris MGMP, Guru PAI, Kepala Sekolah. Metode Pengumpulan data digunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis datanya menggunakan yang disarankan oleh Miles dan Humberman yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Pelatihan yang di lakukan dalam perbaikan kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Jayapura yang oleh Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Keagamaan (BDK) Propinsi Papua,  Kementerian Agama Propinsi Papua adalah mengarah kepada model klasik, yakni model yang dilakukan dengan memenuhi aspek perencanaan, teknik pelaksanaan, metode, pelatihan, materi pelatihan, Instruktur pelatihan, Penjadwalan, peserta pelatihan, dan evaluasi pelatihan.

Abstract

The article particularly portrays and studies the Matbat tribe. The Matbat tribe inhabitants establish a system to unite the Matbat people to create stability and peace in overcoming external situations. The intriguing part of the Matbat tribe is that they, starting from an individual level, keep preserving their communal tradition to sustain peace among them and defend their territory. The customary structure of the Matbat people in West Misool was created based on mutual agreement with the roles, duties and functions that are obtained to maintain balance and harmony aimed at kinship values. There are various symbols in the implementation of the Som, which act as a vehicle of conception that has a meaning as mediation that is actualization in daily life. Som's tradition is a unifying tool for the Matbat indigenous people. The procedures for implementing the tradition are determined by customs arranged in the Matbat customary structure. The Som tradition is an annual event held by the villagers and has the power of customary law that regulates the two villages. The Som tradition is carried out from generation to generation. It develops into values firmly held by the indigenous peoples, not only as their perspective on natural resource management policy. It also as the respect of the Younger Brother (Magey village, which is Protestant Christian) to the Elder Brother (Gamta village, which is Muslim), and as a collective awareness composed in creating a moral balance for indigenous peoples to maintain harmony.

Abstract

The freedom to use Christian religious symbols in Jayapura City creates social unrest and jealousy for other people. This article aims to analyze the religious symbols used by Christians, intense contestation of religious symbols by Christians in Jayapura City, and ideas about its arrangement. This qualitative research uses the paradigm of social phenomenology. This study found that Muslims in Jayapura City is the second largest after Protestant Christianity, but religious development is ranked third after Protestant Christianity and Catholicism. Islam is considered the religion of migrants. The rise of Christian religious symbols in Jayapura City as holy people who have majority control and have freedom of expression in religious symbols is carried out by religious groups in other areas and applied in Jayapura City. The role of central government policy is needed to emerge various ideas in the community in the region. Regional regulations provide freedom for the use of religious symbols. The religious majority who control the government sector has control over the use of religious symbols rather than minority groups by making rules that bind religious communities and raise the exclusivity of the majority group. The local parliament members (DPRD)'s inability to realize the aspirations of the Muslim community of Jayapura City is due to the lack of Muslim members of the local parliament (DPRD). Hence, they have limited numbers in supervising emerging policies, including the use of religious symbols.

Abstract

The road closures were carried out by residents of Kei Abepura Village, Yobe Village, and Abepura District when there was grief, as well as during worship for mourning activities of residents living around Grilyawan Street of Abepura Kei Village, so that the road for vehicles from the direction of Keerom, Abe Pantai and Koya was diverted turn to the direction to the Mental Hospital or through the small alleys in the upper complex of the Kei Abepura village to get to the Abepura circle area, for the opposite direction, namely from the Abepura circle, they have to pass Youtefa to get out to Tanah Hitam, Abe Pantai, Koya, and Keroom. This research purposes to find out the road closure model, the general public’s response, and the occurrence of the road closures carried out by the residents of Kei Village when there is grief in the residents of Kei Village, Abepura District, Jayapura City. This study uses a qualitative research method with the paradigm of social phenomenology. The results show that road closures for mourning activities are an alternative that is taken due to the absence of residents' yards which leads to various perceptions from the general public about the closure of provincial roads for personal activities. It takes clear rules issued by the local government regarding the use of public facilities for personal or group interests. It also requires public awareness about prioritizing the public interest over personal or group interests.

Abstract

Lingkunagan plural akan mempengaruhi karakter seseorang terutama anak usia 6-12 tahun. Pendidikan karakter harus digalakkan mulai dari Pendidikan jenjang dasar. SDIT Qurrata A’yun merupakan salah satu sekolah dasar yang mempunyai visi membentuk akhlakul karimah kepada peserta didiknya. Pembudayaan nilai-nilai islami baik dalam pembelajaran maupun non pembelajaran di SDIT Qurrata A’yun terlihat efektif dalam mentranfer nilai-nila karakter terutama karakter religius. Disatu sisi SDIT Qurrata A’yun menggabungkan kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum JSIT (Jaringan Sekolah Islam Terpadu). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan empat tahapan yakni Pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam internalisasi karakter religius pada peserta didik di SDIT Qurrata A’yun melalui Islamic Culture mencangkup beberapa hal, yakni (1) pemberian contoh (keteladanan); (2) peniruan (imitasi); (3) pembiasaan; (4) praktik. Adapun faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan internalisasi karakter religius peserta didik di SDIT Qurrota A’yun Abepura Kota Jayapura diantaranya yaitu Lingkungan dan Partisipasi. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat adalah dukungan sosial yang tidak kondusif dan karakteristik peserta didik.

Abstract

The essence of school is a process to help humans humanize humans so that they respect each other without discrimination. Multicultural values ​​are very important to apply so that intolerant conditions do not occur. This study aims to determine the results of instilling multicultural values ​​through Islamic religious education at SMP NEGERI I Sarmi. This study examines three problems, namely the process of instilling multicultural values, supporting and inhibiting factors and the results of instilling multicultural values. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical data analysis. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of research on instilling multicultural values ​​through PAI, namely, the process of instilling values ​​at SMP NEGERI I Sarmi, uses an active and communicative teaching model with discussion and question and answer methods. Evaluation The results of instilling multicultural values ​​show that in Islamic religious learning students give a positive response to what the teacher conveys in class. Based on the observations of researchers outside the classroom, students have shown multiculturalist attitudes, namely inclusiveness, humanity, tolerance and religious awareness. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penanaman nilai Islam Ahlussunah Waljama’ah dalam menangkal radikalisme melalui pondok pesantren berbasis Nahdlatul Ulama’. Fokus penelitian ini mengkaji konsep penanaman nilai Islam Ahlussunah Waljama’ah, proses penanaman nilai, dan hasil penanaman nilai Islam Ahlussunah Waljama’ah dalam menangkal radikalisme di pondok pesantren Nurul Anwar Komba Sentani Kabupaten Jayapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan dan mengungkapkan fakta di lapangan secara nyata dan alamiah. Instrument penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti itu sendiri karena peneliti sebagai instrument kunci penelitian. peneliti melakukan penelitian untuk mengumpulkan data melalui beberapa metode diantaranya, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi serta kajian kepustakaan. Konsep penanaman nilai Islam Ahlussunah Waljama’ah dalam menangkal pemahaman radikalisme di pondok pesantren Nurul Anwar Komba melalui konsep kitab Mafahim Yajibu Antusshahah, Dalail Khoirot, Aqidatul Awam dan kegiatan Pagar Nusa. Proses penanaman nilai Islam Ahlussunah Waljama’ah dalam menangkal pemahaman radikalisme, melalui proses pembelajaran formal dan Informal. Pembelajaran dan penanaman dari kitab Mafahim Yajibu Antushahah, Aqidatul Awam, dan Materi Ahlussunah Waljama’ah serta kegiatan Pagar Nusa, penanaman nilai Islam Ahlussunah Waljama’ah juga didukung oleh keteladanan dari Kiai/Ustadz. Pengaruh lingkungan yang mendukung dalam proses penanaman nilai Ahlussunah Waljama’ah, baik dari teman sebaya, pengurus pondok serta keteladanan dari para ustadz-ustadzah dilinkungan pondok pesantren. Hasil penanaman nilai Islam Ahlussunah Waljama’ah di pesantren terlihat siginifikan, dimana dapat dilihat dari 3 sisi yaitu dari sisi pengetahuan (kognitif) dan sisi sikap (afektif) yaitu menjalankan amaliyah Ahlusunah Waljama’ah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Serta sisi psikomotorik (keterampilan) dalam menangkal radikalisme.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) implementasi program Hamam Waembee dalam internalisasi pentingnya moderasi beragama bagi peserta didik di MI Yaa Bunayya. dan (2) Ragam nilai moderasi beragama yang diinternalisasikan pada peserta didik di MI Yaa Bunayya melalui program Hamam Waembee. Adapun jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan keilmuan psikologis. Sumber data yang digunakan bersumber dari data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dan dianalisis melalui 3 tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program hamam waembee melalui perencanaan awal yaitu berdiskusi terkait tujuan kegiatan, teknik pelaksanaan, sedangkan implementasinya yaitu pelaksanaan kegiatan pada hari jum’at pukul 09.00 sampai selesai, dan juga evaluasi kegiatan. Dan ragam nilai moderasi yang tertanam pada peserta didik di MI Yaa Bunayya yaitu nilai tawasut} (tengah-tengah), nilai tawa>zun (berkeseimbangan), nilai I’tidal (lurus dan tegas), nilai tasa>muh (toleransi), nilai musa>wah (egaliter), nilai syu>ra> (musyawarah), nilai is}la>h} (reformasi), nilai aulawiyyah (mendahulukan yang prioritas), nilai tat}awwur wa ibtiqa>r (dinamis dan inovatif), dan nilai tah}ad}d}ur (berkeadaban).

Abstract

The practice of polygamy (nage apik) within the Dani Muslim Community in Walesi Village of Jayawijaya Papua exhibits distinctive and unique characteristics. This article aims to reveal the practice among the Dani Muslims who apparently place their wives in the same house (called lesema). A qualitative approach using Spreadley’s ethnographic method serves as the primary data collection tool through observation and in-depth interviews with the informants. A review of relevant literature is conducted to contextualize the article within the existing literature. The data are analyzed interpretively by considering the ethical and emic principles. This article finds that first, polygamy for Muslim Dani is not only a way for continuing the descendants but also for asserting authority over the territory and taking responsibility for maintaining the community’s continuity. Second, living harmoniously in lesema is a practice aimed at preserving communal unity without barriers while also serving as a space for transferring knowledge on how to be a Dani woman. Third, polygamy within the Muslim Dani is seen as an extension of their cultural practices, accepted as a necessity and a solution to social issues within the community. The practice furthermore provides a new perspective on understanding the characteristics of Indonesian society regarding the role of women in households. It also illustrates how Islamic law intertwines with local traditions based on the history, level of understanding, natural characteristics, and lifestyle of its community.

Abstract

The study of the IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua Library program in realizing a digital library is a form of adjustment to technological developments in improving its competence as a supporter of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education according to the digital era. The discussion of this study uses the theory of Challenge and Response proposed by Arnold Y. Toynbee. The challenges and responses in the program have reinforced the theory. Some responses are shown by the existence of programs in various components, namely the digital collection component of e-books has held 421 titles, 1,151 copies, developing an institutional Repository as a forum for campus community papers in digital form, and other supporting facilities, such as Turnitin Plagiarism Checker Online. The components of library services, both user services and technical services, also lead to the digitization system. For lending and returning printed books, e-books, free library certificates according to computerized and digitized data. Technical services through the migration program of processing library materials, especially printed books consisting of 5,668 titles, 15,589 copies have been and are being reprocessed to comply with national library standards. Library implementation and management component programs that emphasize reporting systems are a hallmark of good library governance. The Cooperation Program followed up by comparative studies with UIN Mataram and with the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia is a step forward. The existence of additional programs from librarianship organizations implemented such as the Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum (FPPTI), the Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI) of Papua Province shows the level of public trust in the ability of librarians in particular and the IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua Library in general
