Abstract

This study aims to examine the teacher's role as educator, facilitator, and motivator in increasing student activity through audio-visual media in Civics subjects in Class XI SMK Negeri 2 Penyabungan in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Penyabung, and used Civics teachers as resource persons to support data acquisition in this study. This research was conducted from February to the second week of March 2023. Data collection was carried out through gathering information by observing and checking into the classroom when the teacher was teaching using audio-visual media and then adding in-depth questions to further strengthen the results of the research data. From this study it was found that the role of the teacher as an educator in increasing the activity of students through Audio Visual learning media in PKn subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Panyabungan was carried out by providing a fair attitude for students in using audio visual media and having a strong mentality in dealing with participants. students who are taught, have extensive knowledge in educating students properly, and always provide good examples or examples to students in using learning media in the classroom; The role of the teacher as a facilitator in increasing the activity of students through learning media in Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Penyabung, namely by providing audio-visual media that can attract the attention of students so that students' interest in learning becomes higher, and the role of the teacher as a motivator in increasing the activeness of students through learning media in Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Panyabungan, namely the teacher always provides direction and encouragement so that students' interest in learning in using audio-visual media becomes more effective.

Abstract

Abstract. Abstract. This study aims to analyze how the Online Learning Model for social studies subjects is applied at SMP Negeri 2 Girsang Sipangan Bolon, Simalungun Regency during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period, Even Semester Academic Year 2020/2021. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with case studies that are focused on clearly seeing how the online learning model is in Social Studies Subjects during the Covid-19 Pandemic at SMP Negeri 2 Girsang Sipangan Bolon. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and Students of SMP Negeri 2 Girsang Sipangan Bolon. The results of the study show that the Online Learning Model for Social Studies subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Girsang Sipangan Bolon during the Covid-19 Pandemic in general or 90% was carried out via the WAG application (WhatsApp Group) with all limitations ranging from gadget ownership, internet network, speed, flexibility, quota, signal, place of residence and parents so that the learning process becomes less effective.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the understanding of Soekarno's heroic values in shaping the character of students with the Role Playing model. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative research method. Qualitative descriptive research is research that aims to describe, summarize various conditions, as situations or various reality phenomena that exist in society which are the object of research and seeks to draw that reality to the surface as a characteristic, character, model, sign or description of the condition, situation or certain phenomenon. The results of the study show that the understanding of Soekarno's heroic values is very influential in the formation of the character of students with the role playing model. Learning history, will develop students' activities to study various events, to then be understood and internalized to themselves so as to give birth to examples for behaving and acting.

Abstract

This research is entitled Perceptions of Islamic Communities towards Christianity in Labuhan Ruku, Talawi Sub-District, Batu Bara District. In this research, the writer wanted to find out how the relationship between Islamic society and Christian society was, whether it was peaceful and peaceful or whether there was conflict in it. This study aims to examine the religious life of the community in Labuhan Ruku and also to examine the perceptions of Muslims in Labuhan Ruku towards Christians and to examine the impact of this perception on religious life. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, namely by conducting interviews with the Islamic community living in Labuhan Ruku. This research was conducted in December 2022. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that not everything is true, if Muslims and Christians cannot live together without conflict, because in Labuhan Ruku Muslims and Christians can live side by side in peace, harmony and mutual tolerance. Muslims do not regard Christians as enemies and vice versa, problems that occur outside their area such as conflicts between religions do not affect the harmonious relationship between them. If we want to improve relations between Christians and Muslims we must deepen our knowledge. We have to avoid stereotypes, we have to learn more about other religions so that we understand how their lives are and how we can respect each other so that we can coexist together in peace and tranquility

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the role of Civics subjects carried out by teachers is to build the character and social behavior of students. The research method used in this study was a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, namely by conducting interviews with several teachers at the UPTD SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar and filling out questionnaires related to social behavior which were distributed to 24 low-grade students. This research was conducted in November 2022. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that Civics is actually a noble program because there are moral values ​​in shaping the character of students. Therefore, realizing the importance of the role of Civics in the process of cultivating and empowering students, then through Civics in schools it should be developed as a socio-cultural vehicle for building a democratic life. But in reality, so far Civic Education still has many weaknesses and shortcomings and aspects of social behavior in low-class students at UPTD SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar in general, including helping behavior, cooperation, giving, sharing, honesty and considering the rights and welfare of others almost all were carried out and many were approved by low-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar. The presentation aspect of the social behavior of UPTD SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar students reached the high category with a presentation of 48% with a total of 12 students out of 24 of the total number of students. It can be concluded that the number of students who have social behavior in the low class UPTD SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar has shown a very good category.

Abstract

Character is inherent in every individual which is reflected in behavior patterns in everyday life. A person's character is influenced by environmental factors (nurture) and innate factors (nature). This character education aims to develop a person's ability to make good and bad decisions, maintain what is good, and realize that goodness in everyday life wholeheartedly. Where at this time the condition of the Indonesian nation is experiencing a decline in character. We realize that if this demoralization is not corrected immediately, this nation that we love will be on the brink of collapse. Therefore character education is a habit, so the formation of one's character requires communities of character. The role of schools as communities of character in character education is very important. Schools develop character education processes through learning processes, habituation, extracurricular activities, and working with families and communities in their development.
