Abstract

This study aims to improve economic learning outcomes through a Jigsaw type cooperative approach in grade VII junior high school students. The results of this classroom action research are expected to provide significant benefits, both for individuals and for educational institutions. The results of the implementation of the first cycle showed that there were 22 (55%) students in very low category, 4 (10%) students in low category, 10 (25%) students in medium, 4 (10%) high students, and there are no students in the very high category. If the average score of economic learning outcomes is entered into five categories, then the mastery category is 0-39% (low). While the results of the implementation of the second cycle showed progress that and 40 students, only 4 students (10%) had very low mastery levels, 8 students (20%) had low mastery levels, 14 students (35%) had moderate mastery levels, 9 students (22.5%) with a high level of mastery, 5 students (12.5%) with a very high level of mastery. If the average score of economic learning outcomes is put into five categories, then the mastery level is 55-74% (medium). There were 29 students (72%) who had very low mastery of economics learning outcomes in the first cycle, the second cycle was reduced to 3 students (7.5%). In the first cycle there was only 1 student (2.5%) who had a high level of mastery and in the second cycle it changed to 8 students (20%) who had a high level of mastery. In the first cycle there were no students in the very high category, however, in the second cycle there were 4 students (10%) who had a high level of mastery.

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kemitraan Komunitas (PKM) ini adalah SMA Negeri 8 Pinrang. Adapun pesertanya adalah siswa SMA Negeri 8 Pinrang. Masalahnya adalah: (1) kurangnya motivasi dan kepercayaan diri dalam debat; (2) terbatasnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam debat; (3) kurangnya termotivasi mengikuti lombat debat; (4) belum ada kelompok debat; dan (5) tidak ada pembimbing. Metode yang digunakan adalah: (1) persiapan, (2) pembekalan, (3) pelaksanaan, dan (4) pelaporan. Hasil yang dicapai adalah siswa memiliki motivasi, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan debat; (2) guru memiliki pengetahuan mengelolah tim debat; (3) SMA Negeri 8 Pinrang memiliki tim dan pembimbing debat, serta aktif mengikuti lomba debat. Kata kunci: pelatihan, debat, bahasa Indonesia, siswa

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kemitraan Komunitas (PKM) ini adalah Guru SD Kecamatan  Tinggi Moncong Malino  Kabupaten Gowa. Masalahnya adalah (1) Guru SD Kecamatan  Tinggi Moncong Malino  Kabupaten Gowa kurang memiliki sikap setia dan bangga terhadap bahasa Indonesia ragam iklan; (2) Guru SD Kecamatan  Tinggi Moncong Malino  Kabupaten Gowa kurang memiliki kesadaran akan norma bahasa Indonesia dalam menulis iklan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode tutorial, ceramah, diskusi, Tanya jawab, dan praktikum. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra memiliki pengetahuan tentang sikap setia dan bangga terhadap penggunaan bahasa Indonesia ragam iklan, (2) mitra memiliki keterampilan terhadap penerapan norma bahasa Indonesia dalam menulis iklan.Kata Kunci: sikap setia, norma, bahasa Indonesia, menulis iklan, covid19

Abstract

Abstrak. This study discusses the ability to translate Indonesian text into Makassar language in class X SMAN 1 Bantaeng. The purpose of this study was to determine the students' ability in translating Indonesian text into Makassar language. This research is a type of quantitative research. The design in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data in this study are data in the form of student scores in translating Indonesian text into Makassar language. The data collection technique in this research is a written test technique. The results showed that the students were quite capable in translating Indonesian text into Makassar language Keywords: Students' ability in translating Indonesian text into Makassar language in class X SMAN 1 Bantaeng.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan siswa dalam mentransliterasi teks lontarak ke latin maupun sebaliknya melalui model pembelajaran gallery walk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian statistik deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa daerah sebanyak 1 orang dan siswa kelas X D SMA Negeri 4 Takalar sebanyak 33 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik primer. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan terampil pada keterampilan mentransliterasi lontarak ke latin sedangkan pada keterampilan mentransliterasi latin ke lontarak dikategorikan tidak terampil. Hal tersebut dilihat dari jumlah presentase siswa yang dinilai pada keseluruhan aspek penilaian. Pada keterampilan siswa mentransliterasi lontarak ke latin terdapat 25 siswa dari 33 jumlah siswa kelas X-D mendapat nilai 75-100 atau 76,5% yang dinyatakan terampil dan keterampilan mentransliterasi latin ke lontarak terdapat 17 siswa dari 33 jumlah siswa kelas X-D mendapat nilai 75-100 atau 51,72% sehingga dinyatakan tidak terampil.Keywords: mentransliterasi, teks lontarak, gallery walk.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method which aims to describe: (1) the socio-historical background of Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf and (2) the value of character education contained in novel The Lost Years Standing Strong in Shaykh Yusuf's Shadow. The primary data of this research is the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadow of Sheikh Yusuf, while the secondary data of this study was obtained through a written interview with Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel. The source of the data for this research comes from the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf and a written interview with Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel. Data collection was carried out in three stages, namely reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and interview techniques. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research uses the theory of sociology of literature by Rene Wellek and Austin Warren. The results of the study show that (1) Rully Ferdiansyah as the author of the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf was born in Serang, Banten, precisely on August 30, 1985. Rully Ferdiansyah is of Sunda-Banten ethnicity and adheres to the teachings of Islam. The author is an environmental activist and anti-social disease activist in Cilegon. In addition, the author is a demisioner at the Banten Arts Council for the 2017-2018 period in the literary committee and also as a functionary of ICMI Banten for the 2019-present period, (2) In the novel Years of the Lost Standing Strong in the Shadows of Sheikh Yusuf, it is found five main characters in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Education and Culture which include: religiosity values (20.68%), integrity values (16.37%), nationalist values (11.20%), independent values (10.34%), and mutual cooperation value (6%). The value of integrity, which is the fifth value, in this novel is in second place under the value of religiosity

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mendeskripsikan keterampilan  menulis narasi bahasa Makassar berbasis lingkungan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian yaitu keterampilan menulis narasi bahasa makassar berbasis lingkungan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII  SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik ter tertulis. Tekni analisis data yaitu: (1) membuat daftar skor mentah, (2) membuat distribusi frekuensi dan skor rata-rata, (3) membuat tabel klasifikasi keterampilan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa belum mencapai standar pencapaian yang direncanakan 75% dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (75 KKM) berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 22 siswa mampu memperoleh nilai ≥75. Berdasarkan kriteria penilaian tingkat keterampilan siswa secara keseluruhan berada pada taraf cukup. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penilaian ternyata siswa yang memperoleh dengan nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) terdapat 22 orang dengan persentase 70% dan yang memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM terdapat 15 orang siswa dengan persentase 30%.Keyword: Keterampilan, Menulis, Narasi, Siswa.

Abstract

Speaking skills and mother tongue are strongly suspected of having an influence on language politeness in communication. The study aims to investigate the implementation of teaching materials designed for speaking skills and students' understanding of language politeness based on their mother tongue. This research employs a pre-experimental method to examine the influence of speaking skills teaching materials on students' language politeness, taking into account their mother tongue at Universitas Negeri Makassar. The instruments used were pretest and posttest tests. It is intended to obtain an overview of individual factors, such as mother tongue , that affect the level of politeness of students in everyday communication. The results of the study show (1) that the implementation of speaking skills teaching materials has an influence on increasing language politeness. (2) The mother tongue has an influence on increasing student language politeness. Although the test results for the group of students with Indonesian mother tongue were higher (4.03) compared to the group of students with Makassar-Bugis mother tongue (3.91).

Abstract

Abstract.  Speaking skills and cultural/ethnic background of students allegedly affect language politeness in daily communication. This research aims to determine the effect of speaking skills teaching materials on improving the language politeness of Makassar State University students and the influence of students' cultural/ethnic background on their language politeness. This research uses a pre-experimental method. The instrument used in this research was a test, namely pretest and posttest. The results showed that the application of the model of speaking skills teaching materials can improve language politeness. The results of the second research showed that students with Bugis cultural/ethnic backgrounds had a greater impact on speaking politeness than students with Makassar cultural/ethnic backgrounds, especially students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Language and Letters, State University of Makassar. Keywords: Teaching materials, speaking skills, language politeness, cultural

Abstract

Abstrak. Keterampilan berbicara merupakan keterampilan berbahasa yang banyak diminati karena keterampilan ini adalah keterampilan utama dalam proses komunikasi. Untuk berkomunikasi dibutuhkan keterampilan ataupun metode agar kawan bicara senang sesuai yang kita harapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dampak penggunaan metode problem solving dalam keterampilan berbicara berbasis penerapan bahan ajar online. Penelitian eksperimen ini, terdiri dari dua kelompok utuh dari 25 mahasiswa FBS UNM. Para mahasiswa diberikan tes awal dengan menggunakan bahan ajar online untuk memastikan level mereka sama dan homogen. Dua kelompok secara acak ditugaskan ke kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Tes diberikan kepada kedua kelompok untuk memastikan homogenitas mereka sebelum perlakuan. Treatmennya, dua kelompok diinstruksikan dalam delapan pertemuan (dua bulan) dengan pendekatan yang berbeda. Kelompok kontrol diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode pengajaran konvensional dan kelompok eksperimen diajar dengan menggunakan metode problem solving. Akhirnya, post-test diberikan kepada kedua kelompok untuk menilai kemampuan berbicara mereka di akhir penelitian. Untuk membandingkan kemampuan berbicara peserta dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol, dilakukan uji-t. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan metode problem solving memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbicara berbasis kesantunan berbahasa  mahasiswa. Kata Kunci:  Keterampilan Berbicara, Problem Solving, Kesantunan Berbahasa, Bahan Ajar Online
