Abstract

The government launched the destination branding West Nusa Tenggara The first is "VISIT Lombok Sumbawa in 2012" in 2009, which was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. At the time, "VISIT Lombok Sumbawa in 2012" managed to bring in tourists profound, even to achieve an increase of one million tourists in 2012 with the average - average increase of 45% from 2009. The focus in this thesis is a policy - a policy issued by the government and park authority Nansional Mount Rinjani in developing tourism in the region Mount Rinjani National Park with a destination based on the complexity of the appeal, one of the community-based tourism development. Rinjani Treckking Management Board (RTMB) is an institution established by the government, which then cooperates with the National Park of Mount Rinjani in the development of local community-based tourism. In case of problems caused imlementasinya regulations made by the central government, among others, government regulation number 36 of 2010, PERMENHUT No. 4 in 2012, and the PP number 12 of 2014, which affects the clotting RTMB. These problems, berdamak to the development of tourism businesses in the region, because of business competition climate in the area of Mount Rinjani National Park unhealthy, caused is no more supervision by RTMB. Besides Mount Rinjani National Park is famous for the cultural wealth of the communities in the surrounding area. From a variety of cultural attractions owned, among others, menyembe culture, a culture that is unique in mengembala cow, foster a culture of the mountain, all the exploited people, be a tourist attraction to attract tourists. The conclusion of the program destination branding West Nusa Tenggara on Mount Rinjani National Park, namely, the role of RTMB in developing tourism in the National Park of Mount Rinjani is very important, because to make Rinjani as an icon atapun landmark tourism West Nusa Tenggara RTMB approach using 4 complexity Destination Branding that Natural Condition, Politics, Economics, and Society.

Abstract

Human resources is one factor that is strategic and fundamental in the organization. The role of human resources will determine the success or failure of the organization in achieving its vision and mission that has been set. In order to determine the extent to which the presence, role and contribution of human resources in achieving organizational success, of course necessary performance measurement. Organizational culture and work discipline have influence in improving the performance of employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (DAOP IV) Semarang. Good organizational culture will enhance good performance. This study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance. This study uses census sampling technique sampling of 58 employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (DAOP IV) Semarang. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire and interviews with technical research instruments using a questionnaire with Likert scale. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively through validity and reliability test. While the test data analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient determination test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression, t-test and F test with SPSS 20.0.Statistical results known that organizational culture accounted for 22.3% and discipline accounted for 18.2% have a positive influence on employee performance.  Based on the coefficient of determination in jointly influence organizational culture and work discipline against the employee's performance of 32.5%, value F count (13.233) > F table (3.16) with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 significance level it is known that '' there is the influence of organizational culture, and work discipline on the performance of employees ". Based on this research can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between organizational culture and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (DAOP IV) Semarang. Advice can be given is to further increase focus on organizational culture variables and disciplined work well for the performance of employees is increasing and becoming good also.

Abstract

Human resource management is currently looking at an employee in the company as a corporate asset. Although employees are viewed as assets of the company, the employee can not be obtained as easily as other company assets in the form of goods. This is because it takes also a match between the qualifications that companies want to qualifications held by the job applicant. This match is required by the company, so employees who work to help the company to achieve its vision and mission. The vision and mission of a company, will be obtained with the employee's performance. Leadership and working environment has an influence on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable in the production employees of PT. Bandeng Juwana. Production employee performance can be seen from the achievement of production targets, but it has not succeeded in the production target is reached.In this study used a sampling technique is simple random sampling of 77 production employees of PT. Bandeng Juwana. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and interviews, the research instrument was a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively through validity and reliability test. While data analysis is done through a simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression, t-test, F test and path analysis.Based on the results of the analysis are known pathways that influence leadership variable and variable work environment for employee performance variables, namely, leadership variables have a direct effect of 0.332, and the work environment has a direct influence amounted to 0,348. Motivation as an intervening variable has an effect of 0.350 on the variable employee performance. Then if leadership through motivation to affect performance, it is known the effect of 0.486. Meanwhile, if the work environment through motivation to affect performance, it is known the effect of 0.949. Based on this it can be seen that, the influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance will be greater if through motivation. Based on the test results of variable F leadership, work environment and motivation on the performance together look that F count> F table (52.851> 2.73), and based on the results of multiple regression results also show that leadership, work environment and motivation to have a positive influence the performance of employees.The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between leadership and work environment on employee performance, through motivation as an intervening variable. The advice given is to be increased attention on variable motivation for increasing employee performance.

Abstract

Nowadays , business competition in the industrial sector is very competitive. Human resources is one of the main factors to compete with the other company. CV.Cita Nasional is one of milk processing industry company in Semarang, Central Java. Problems in this research is performance reduction of production employee 2013-2015, This was happen due to less leadership and job content that is not in suits with employees. This study attempts to find out whether there is impact of leadership and job content to employees performance by motivation on production employees CV.Cita Nasional. Data collection techniques used the interview and questionnaires , while the sample techniques used non probability of sampling with 94 the total sample. The research results show that leadership and job content having a positive influence and significantly to employee performance by motivation. This can be seen from the results of the simple analysis linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, the coefficients determination test , sobel test and path analysis. Motivation as variable intervening mediate between leadership against employee performance that is both partial mediation as well as motivation as variable intervening mediate between leadership against employee performance that is both full mediation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the rise of a variety of trade centers such as department stores, supermarkets, hypermart, etc. in Indonesia marks a change in consumer shopping behavior from traditional markets to modern market. Matahari Department Store is one of the largest department stores and always visited by most of people in Indonesia, because it has a good shop attributes. This study aimed to determine the effect of stores attribute and fashion involvement on consumer purchasing decisions in Matahari Department Store Paragon Mall Semarang.This type of research is explanatory research by data collection questionnaires. This study uses the 100 respondents who made a purchase at the Matahari Department Store Paragon Mall Semarang. The sampling technique of this study was accidental sampling and sampling is done through purposive sampling method. Test analysis tools used are validity and reliability testing. Analysis of the data used is the correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, t test, multiple linear regression, and F test.Based on the results of analysis show that in partial stores attribute contributed the influence on purchasing decisions by 15.3%, fashion variable involvement contributes influence on purchasing decisions by 43.5%. Simultaneously stores attribute and fashion involvement contributes influence on purchasing decisions by 43.6%.Conclusion this study shows attributes and fashion stores involvement partially and simultaneously influence consumer purchasing decisions in Matahari Department Store Paragon Mall Semarang. Based on these results, Matahari Department Store Paragon Mall Semarang should be able to maintain and continuously improve the attributes of existing stores, and fashion involvement of each consumer should be able to continue to influence the purchasing decisions of consumers, as well as the need for continued research by companies and others to determine the effect of variable other.

Abstract

Every company needs the resources that have important influence to achieve success. Success in achieving the organization's goals came from the behavior of its own employees therefore the employees that make up the structure of the organization and take advantage of technology. Performance of the employee is influenced by several factors such as compensation, motivation and Working discipline. Poor performance of the employee caused by low compensation, lack of motivation and a poor working discipline at Telkom Corporate University.This study aims to identify and explain the influence of compensation, motivation and Working discipline on the performance of the employee of Telkom Corporate University. This research uses explanatory type approach, against 69 respondents with sampling purposive technique. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The analysis technique used is quantitative. Quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS version 16.0 for Windows.The results of statistical analysis known partial influence between compensation on performance of the employee by 27.4%. Then motivation to performance of the employee by 17.8%. while for the working discipline on the performance of the employee by 35%. Simultaneous influence of the influence of compensation, motivation and Working discipline on the performance of the employee is 34.2%, while 65.8% are influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving the performance of employees to the company to increase its attention to the work compensation, motivation and Working discipline which in turn will ultimately increase performance of the employee.

Abstract

Businnes competition now demanding companies to have competitive employee in many aspects. The availability of company to compensate their employee, to establish pleasant working environment, and ability to allocating workload fairly are factors which is make employee stay longer working in the company and give a satisfaction feeling in every job they done. The objective of this research is to measure the influence of compensation, working environment, and workload to employee loyality through work satisfaction. Data accumulation using interview techniquie by questionnaire instrument. The data analyze using qualitative and quantitative using coefficient determination test, simple and double linear regretion, cross table, significant test, path analysis, and trimming.The result of this research showing corelation of compenasation to working satisfactory strongly with correlation number 0,715. Coefficient determination (R2) of working environment to working satisfactory 46,9%. The result of path analyzing workload to working satisfactory have 0,268 and have to be proceed by trimming (exluding process of eksogen variable which have insignifacant number). Simultaneously compensation, working environment, workload, and working satisfaction have significant influences to employee loyality with F count > F table (13,972 > 2,487) with significant number 0,000 < 0,005.

Abstract

In order to keep the existence and continuity of a company, surely in its operations, the company needs to focus on the customer under the terms demanded by customers internally and externally in terms of customers' satisfaction. Relating to the quality aspects, a standardization of the management is required in order to maintain company's performance to produces quality products and services, and increase the productivity of the company in an efficient manner, namely ISO 9001: 2008. One of the companies that implement ISO 9001: 2008 is PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang. Employees' performance data of PT. Indofood is fluctuating so it needs to be re-assess through this research. This research aims to determine the effect of training, working environment, and infrastructure towards employee performance at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang. Data collecting methods used in this research was probability sampling with 109 employees as data samples. Datas analysis were quantitative analysis using SPSS program version of 17.0. The analysis method used were correlation test, determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T-test and F-test. The results of the research showed that there are positive and significant effects between training, working environment, and infrastructure towards employee performance at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang either partially or simultaneously. Variable training has the highest effect towards employee performance in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang compared to working environment and infrastructure. Training can be enhanced by increasing internal training conduciveness and additional facilities. Working environment can be improved by rearranging the layout of employees’ room. In addition, the infrastructure can be improved by increasing the availability of technology and a special user guidance of technology provided by the company formally.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the presence of advancement in telecommunicationtechnology that revives producers to make it as business opportunities where the competition isgetting stricter. Specifically, this study discusses about the downward trend in sales of BlackberrySmartphone in over two year period. The increase of people’s lifestyle, the influence of social groups,also other smartphones that offer more sophisticated features often lead many consumers to chooseother brand than Blackberry. The sample in this research is 100 respondents using samplingtechniques of non-probability sampling. Linear regression analysis and significance test is used totest the hypothesis using SPSS 16.0. The study results indicate that all of the independent variables,lifestyle (X1), community effects (X2), and the product features (X3) partially each have a positiveand significant effect on the dependent variable of brand switching decisions (Y).

Abstract

This research is motivatedany decrease in the number of customers by PT. Pos Indonesia. Because the customers are less satisfied with respect to the service provided by PT Pos Indonesia so many customers who move to other delivery services. The purpose of doing research is to figure out how big the influence of excellent service and price to customer loyalty, PT. Pos Indonesia. Sampling techniques using non probability sampling with the kind of purposive sampling. The respondents in this study amounts to 100 respondents. The analysis used in a research is quantitative analysis using the software SPSS 20.0 for Windows Evaluatin Version, where previously done test validity, reliability, cross-tab, the coefficient of correlation, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, test of significance (t-test and F-test) in advance. The results of research show that excellent service (X1) and price (X2) partially or simultaneous affect customer loyalty (Y).
