Abstract

Banking stocks are the biggest contributor to the existing capitalization on the stock exchanges in Indonesia. Banking stock price movements will be able to directly affect the performance of the Indonesian capital market because of large capitalization . The movement of stock prices are influenced by many factors , one of which is the macro economic factors. In relation to macroeconomic Indonesia, the bank acts as a control over the monetary policy issued by Bank Indonesia . Because of this, the study raised the BI rate, inflation, and Rupiah-US $  Exchange Rate as macroeconomic factors suspected to affect stock prices subsector banks.               This study aims to determine the effect of the BI Rate , Inflation and Rupiah - US $ Exchange Rate against the banking sub-sector stock price  years 2009-2013. Methods of data collection using secondary data of each variable . The sample in this study amounted to 13 banks with purposive sampling technique. Scale measurements using a measuring scale ratio. In linear regression analysis was used and the significance test using SPSS 15.0 .               From the analysis of data it can be concluded that  BI rate has no significant effect on stock prices of banking sub- sector . Inflation has no significant effect on stock prices of banking sub- sector . Rupiah -US $ exchange rate has no significant effect on stock prices of banking sub- sector. Simultaneously, BI Rate, Inflation and Rupiah - US $ Exchange Rate has a significant impact on stock prices of banking sub- sector amounted to 14.2 % .               The advice can be given that investors consider also other factors in addition to the factors BI Rate, Inflation and Rupiah - US $ as a material consideration in decision making stock purchases, especially in the banking sub-sector stocks .

Abstract

BBC - ETS is educational institutions and English language training that aims to provide services and English language training so that communities are able to communicate in English fluently. This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality, facilities and location of the consumer's decision in choosing the institution BBC - ETS Tlogosari Semarang branch. The population in this study is the teenager and adult students. By Sugiyono theory (2008), taken 95 respondents to be sampled and the sampling technique used is the proportional stratified random sampling. Measurement scale using Likert scale. In the analysis of the data using simple linear regression and multiple regression. Research shows that the quality of service, facilities, and location of positive influence on the decision to select a course, either partially or simultaneously. Categories of service quality by 57.9 percent said either. Category known facilities by 40 percent expressed either. Categories location by 42.1 percent said either. decision to select a course known by 41.1 percent expressed high. service quality affects the decision to choose a course of 38.1 percent. Variables facilities influence the decision to choose a course of 16.6 percent. Variables affect the location decision of choosing a course of 12.1 percent. Variable quality of service, facilities, and location influence the decision to choose a course of 43.3 percent.

Abstract

Scope of banking is now currently experiencing a very tight competition that marked by the emergence of new banks, so the company needs the right strategy and ability to optimize human resources in the company. Conditions of the competition requires companies to have employees that have high performance. Employees performance is influenced by various factors such as organizational culture, leadership and motivation. All three of them have an important role in improving the performance of employees. Based on existing problems in this research, there was a decrease in the employee’s performance of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Go Public Semarang branch office in 2011 and 2012 with (0.335%) and (0.98%). The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of organizational culture and leadership to the employee’s performance through motivation at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Go Public Semarang branch office.The type of this research is explanatory research. The population in this research is employees of PT. BTN (Persero) Go Public Semarang branch office and the number of sample was 136 respondents. The sampling technique is proportionate stratified random sampling. The techniques of collecting data in this research with questionnaires and interviews. The analytical method that used in this research is the correlation test, R Square, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and f test with SPSS.The results of this research show that based the path analysis, organizational culture and leadership have influence on employee performance when reinforced by the motivation or through motivation. It can be conclude if the organizational culture is stronger, if there’s stand presence of good leadership and accompanied with employees high motivation, it will improve employees performance. Recomendation  for PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Go Public Semarang branch office is to enable high employees performance, then the leader should be able to regard on how the employees can be more active providing inspiration, innovation and initiative in work, as well as leaders should be able to further build employees motivation to work better, and the company should pay more attention with the suitability of bonus that provided for the employees to improve their performance even better.

Abstract

Merger business in the form of acquisition becomes one of the strategies which strengthen capitalization of the bank in order to survive and compete. This thing becomes the basic consideration of Indonesia government to carry out an acquisition of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. by PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. The purpose of this research is to find out if there is any differentiation among stock price, stock trading volume and stock return before and after acquisition planning information PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. by PT. bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk.   The result of the research reveals that there is no significant differentiation between stock price average of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. and PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. before and after acquisition planning information, there is no significant differentiation in stock trading volume average of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. before and after acquisition planning information, there is significant differentiation in stock trading volume of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. before and after acquisition planning information, then, there is no significant differentiation between abnormal return average of PT. Abstract

Rabbani Pandanaran Muslim Boutique Semarang is one area of ​​business that offers products such as the veil, Muslim clothing, and the like, both for women and adam. As a company engaged in the marketing of the product, the quality of products and services becomes important. The research is motivated by data last months of customer Rabbani Muslim Boutique Pandanaran fluctuated Semarang (changing) and have not reached the target number of customers steadily. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and customer loyalty tehadap locations through customer satisfaction. The results showed that the total effect of product quality and service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction by 24.5 percent

Abstract

Human resource management is currently looking at an employee in the company as a corporate asset. Although employees are viewed as assets of the company, the employee can not be obtained as easily as other company assets in the form of goods. This is because it takes also a match between the qualifications that companies want to qualifications held by the job applicant. This match is required by the company, so employees who work to help the company to achieve its vision and mission. The vision and mission of a company, will be obtained with the employee's performance. Leadership and working environment has an influence on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable in the production employees of PT. Bandeng Juwana. Production employee performance can be seen from the achievement of production targets, but it has not succeeded in the production target is reached.In this study used a sampling technique is simple random sampling of 77 production employees of PT. Bandeng Juwana. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and interviews, the research instrument was a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively through validity and reliability test. While data analysis is done through a simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression, t-test, F test and path analysis.Based on the results of the analysis are known pathways that influence leadership variable and variable work environment for employee performance variables, namely, leadership variables have a direct effect of 0.332, and the work environment has a direct influence amounted to 0,348. Motivation as an intervening variable has an effect of 0.350 on the variable employee performance. Then if leadership through motivation to affect performance, it is known the effect of 0.486. Meanwhile, if the work environment through motivation to affect performance, it is known the effect of 0.949. Based on this it can be seen that, the influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance will be greater if through motivation. Based on the test results of variable F leadership, work environment and motivation on the performance together look that F count> F table (52.851> 2.73), and based on the results of multiple regression results also show that leadership, work environment and motivation to have a positive influence the performance of employees.The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between leadership and work environment on employee performance, through motivation as an intervening variable. The advice given is to be increased attention on variable motivation for increasing employee performance.

Abstract

O-Mamamia restaurant Steak n Ice Cream Semarang is a steak restaurant providing ice cream at the same time, which has ten branches one branch is O-Mamamia Restaurant Steak n Ice Cream Jati Semarang. In an effort to maintain relationships with customers, service quality is the key to retaining customers and providing high value through customer value. Customers will compare the quality of services provided at a price that is charged for the steak provided. Currently there is a restaurant that provides a lot of steak menu, causing intense competition. Intense competition will directly affect the number of customers coming as it did on the O-Mamamia Restaurant Steak n Ice Cream Jati Semarang which decreased the number of customers each year. This study aimed to determine the effect of pricing, product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction O-Mamamia Steak n Ice Cream Teak Semarang. The population in this study is the customer O-Mamamia Restaurant Steak n Ice Cream Teak Semarang. The research sample of 100 respondents was taken and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Measurement scales using Likert scale. In the analysis of the data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with the help of the program SPSS 18.00. Based on the survey results revealed the price variable has an influence on the customer satisfaction variables, where the t value (3.456)> t table (1.29025). That is, for a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Value of the coefficient of determination of 0.109 or 10.9%. This means that 10.9% customer satisfaction variables can be explained by the variable price. Variable product quality has an influence on the customer satisfaction variables, where the t value (4.905)> t table (1.29025). That is, the product quality has positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Value of the coefficient of determination of 0.197 or 19.7%. Variable Quality of Service has a variable effect on customer satisfaction, which amounted to 8.451 t count> t table of 1.29025 means that service quality has positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Value of the coefficient of determination of 0.422 or 42.2% Suggestions put forward for O-Mamamia Restaurant Steak n Ice Cream Teak Semarang is need for adjustment between the tariff charged to consumers with the quality of services provided, maintaining the delicious taste, customer service should be further enhanced.

Abstract

Bank is the industries which the main activity of the bank itself is fund gathering from public to obtain earnings. The ratio that used for the profitability is ROA and ROE, because it can identify the ability of bank management in managing the assets under their control to generate the income. To see the performance of a bank compared to the other banks, we can compare the absolut figures and financial ratios that achieved from the bank. Because of that thing that already explained, this study named CAR, NIM, BOPO, dan LDR as a ratio that are considered to affect the profitability of the bank. This study aims to determine the effect of the CAR, NIM, BOPO,and LDR against the Profitability level during the period 2008-2012 . Methods in this research using secondary data of each variable . The sample in this study amounted to 35 go public banks period 2008-2012 with purposive sampling technique. Scale measurements using a measuring scale ratio. In linear regression analysis was used and the significance test using SPSS 15.0 .From the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that , CAR has a significant effect on profitability. NIM has a significant effect on profitability. BOPO has a significant effect on profitability. LDR has no effect on profitability. Simultaneously, CAR, NIM, BOPO, and LDR  has a significant impact on profitability amounted to 95,6 % . NIM has the biggest impact with 0,350 standardized coefficient beta score. The researchers suggest that management also consider the other factors beside CAR, NIM, BOPO, dan LDR for consideration in analysing the level of bank profitability.

Abstract

Garuda Indonesia is Indonesian government-owned airlines that always provide the best quality services to its passengers, starting from purchase the ticket until post-flight. Garuda Indonesia proves their service quality of being recognized in international standard by joining the Sky Team alliance and awarded for top brand index every year. Although always placed in the first rank in 2012 until 2014 but the index percentage continues to decline. Garuda Indonesia’s Touch Points service also becomes a measurement regarding level of image and perceived quality towards the company.The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of brand awareness, brand image and perceived quality on customer buying decision in Garuda Indonesia Airlines. The type of this research is explanative research. The method of collecting data using interviews, literature study and questionnaire. The technique of sampling using purposive sampling. The sample in this research were 100 respondents who are the customers in Garuda Indonesia Branch Office Semarang. Measurement scale using Likert Scale. Quantitative analysis uses validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and a significant test (t and F) using SPSS 15.0.Based on the data analysis found in partial, the variable of brand awareness  has contribution influence on buying decisions of 21,1%, the variable of brand image has contribution influence on buying decisions of 51,4%, and the variable of perceived quality has contribution influence on buying decisions of 58,4%. Simultaneously the variable of brand awareness, brand image and perceived quality has contribution influence on buying decisions of 64,6%.Based on the research results, the researcher suggests that the company should improve the delivery of the information regarding promotion in media communication, paying attention to every service at customer’s touch points in order for customer to be able to utilize the service and facilities that offered as well as avoid delays flight hours especially for domestic routes

The success of a company inachieving its objectives can’t be separated from human resources. Because resourcesprovide an important role, the company always strives to be able to allocate substantialfunds to improve human resources. In the situation of banking competition, banks need agreat effort, then one effort is to further improve the performance of employees optimally.So that the objectives set by the company achieved well. The purpose of this research wasto determine whether there is influence appraisal, compensation to employee performancethrough motivation at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Branch Undip Semarang.The population in this study were all employees' fixed numbering 70 people, so this studyuses census research. The analytical tool used in this research is simple regression,regression, and path. Results of analysis and hypothesis testing showed that job appraisal,compensation, and motivation have an impact on employee performance. Judging from thecalculation of the regression coefficients indicate that job appraisal, compensation,motivation is able to explain the variable performance of the employee, where the results ofthe regression coefficient has an influence appraisal of 0.279, compensation of 0.022, andthe motivation of 0.76 to employee performance. This shows that the assessor job has agreater impact and has a strong degree of closeness of relationship to employeeperformance. Thus we can conclude the influence appraisal, compensation to employeeperformance through motivation at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk BranchUndip Semarang. Advice can be given in this study and the need to increase attention tocompensation and motivation can be done by paying attention to the results of the work,can be in the form of bonuses from employers so that employees are encouraged to workoptimally.
