Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan di Desa Jaten bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran pentingnya pangan sehat untuk keluarga dan alternatif wirausaha saat menghadapi pandemi. Metode yang dipakai guna mencapai tujuan yang dimaksud adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan budidaya ikan dalam ember kombinasi dengan akuaponik kangkung. Hasil menunjukan bahwa pelatihan budidaya ikan dalam ember mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra akan budidaya ikan dalam ember dan akuaponik sayur kangkung. Mitra dapat langsung mempraktekan Budikdamber dan Aquaponik, pengelolaan budidaya hingga manajemen usaha Budikdamber dan Aquapoik. Besar harapan penulis bahwa dengan memperkenalkan budidaya ikan dalam ember ke ibu-ibu PKK diharapkan mampu meningkatkan ketahanan pangan keluarga melalui pengan hasil produksi sendiri.

Abstract

Onion farmers in Tawangmangu are currently experiencing difficulties due to changes in rainfall. As a result, they are planting garlic and then intercropping with shallots. This decision will have a direct impact on farmers' income. This study aims to determine the effect of farmers' decisions in intercropping garlic with shallots on farmers' income in the Tawangmangu District. This research was conducted in Tawangmangu District with a simple random sampling method to determine the sample size of 49 respondents. The method of data analysis used a two-stage least square. The decision to intercrop shallot and garlic does not affect farmers' income. The age of the farmer influences the decision to do intercropping. A farmer's income is influenced by land area and the use of Phonska fertilizer. To increase farmers' income, using fertilizers with similar elements must be paid more attention to when fertilizing plants.

Abstract

Program pengabdian dilakukan dengan mengadakan kegiatan untuk membantu mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kegiatan budidaya hortikultura dilahan sempit Desa Triyagan, Kecamatan Mojolaban, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode yang dipakai guna mencapai tujuan yang dimaksud adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan dan analisa ekonomi budidaya pertanian lahan sempit. Hasil menunjukan pelatihan budidaya pertanian dilahan sempit didaerah perkotaan dapat dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan rumah tangga dan menghemat pengeluran pangan sehingga menigkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga. Mitra dapat langsung mempraktekan budidaya tanaman dirumah masing-masing. Besar harapan penulis bahwa dengan menggalakan budidaya disekitar pekarangan rumah diharapkan mampu meningkatkan ketahanan pangan keluarga.

Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) is one of the primary vegetable commodities with many benefits. Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) contain carbohydrates, sugars, fatty acids, proteins, and other minerals needed by the human body. So that at certain times, shallots experience price fluctuations in the form of price increases when demand is higher than supply, and shallot prices decline when the supply is higher than demand. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for shallots to determine the elasticity of demand for shallots in the city of Surakarta with the factors that influence it. The primary method used is descriptive-analytical. The method of determining the location used is a purposive method defined intentionally, namely in Surakarta. The data used is secondary data using time series data from 2000-2019. The multiple linear regression analysis results show that the price of garlic, the price of red chili, the population, and income per capita individually significantly affect the demand for shallots in Surakarta. Price elasticity in this study could not be determined. Cross elasticity shows that red goods are substituted with garlic and red chili in Surakarta City. The income elasticity value is positive or more than zero and less than one, indicating that shallots are included in the normal goods and necessities category.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam pengetahuan pemasaran online bagi petani hortikultura mencakup kurangnya pemahaman tentang strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif, keterbatasan aksesibilitas teknologi dan koneksi internet di daerah pedesaan, serta ketidakpahaman tentang analisis data dan tren pasar, yang secara keseluruhan menghambat optimisasi pemasaran online dan meningkatkan pendapatan serta peluang bisnis petani hortikultura. Solusi untuk masalah pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemasaran online bagi petani hortikultura adalah melalui program pelatihan dan pendampingan yang komprehensif. Program ini mencakup pemahaman strategi pemasaran digital, penggunaan platform online, konten menarik, analisis data, dan pemahaman perilaku konsumen. Pelatihan membantu petani hortikultura hadapi tantangan pemasaran online. Materi disajikan dengan bahasa sederhana dan mudah diakses. Workshop kolaboratif memperkuat pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani. Evaluasi dan umpan balik terus meningkatkan kualitas pelatihan. Diharapkan petani dapat sukses dalam pemasaran online dan bisnis mereka di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini penting karena menggali pemahaman tentang peran penyuluh pertanian dalam mendukung keberhasilan usahatani terpadu berbasis keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kesenjangan antara harapan dan kenyatan dari kinerja penyuluh terkait indikator pendidikan, pelatihan, konsultasi, dan bimbingan. Masalah keterbatasan persepsi responden tentang peran penyuluh menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-analitik, dasar dengan penentuan lokasi secara purposive, dan pemilihan sampel petani menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden 50 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Gap Analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara harapan dan kenyataan saat ini dari kinerja penyuluh pada beberapa aspek yang diteliti. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan agar penyuluh meningkatkan pendekatan partisipatif, penyampaian informasi yang lebih jelas, dan mengembangkan program pelatihan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan petani. Penelitian di masa depan dapat melibatkan pengumpulan data yang lebih luas dan lebih mendalam dan mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan program korporasi pertanian terpadu berbasis keluarga.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam komunitas pertanian perkotaan meliputi kurangnya kesadaran dan dukungan masyarakat, pencemaran air dan tanah, keterbatasan sumber daya dan ruang, serta kesulitan akses pasar untuk menjual produk urban farming. Diperlukan pengorganisasian masyarakat dan kerjasama untuk mengatasi perkembangan kelembagaan komunitas pertanian perkan yang membutuhkan perubahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari perubahan komunitas urban farming di Surakarta dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis model AIDP (Assess, Identify, Develop, Process). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dan studi kasus untuk menginvestigasi fenomena urban farming di Surakarta. Penelitian ini memilih lokasi secara purposive berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, serta melibatkan 50 anggota komunitas urban farming sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei, wawancara, dan observasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahapan strategi memiliki tingkat keberhasilan yang berbeda. Tahap evaluasi strategi seperti kemitraan dengan pedagang lokal dan lembaga keuangan serta pemanfaatan lahan vertikal dan dialog terbuka berjalan kurang baik, sementara pelatihan kepemimpinan dan kampanye sosial cukup baik. Pada tahap identifikasi, peningkatan literasi keuangan dan sistem pengelolaan limbah berkelanjutan tidak berjalan dengan baik, namun kolaborasi dengan lembaga pendidikan dan organisasi non-pemerintah berjalan baik. Selanjutnya, tahap pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa promosi branding produk pertanian dan model kelembagaan inovatif tidak berjalan dengan baik, tetapi penggunaan teknologi biofilter dan kegiatan pembinaan dan rotasi kepemimpinan berjalan cukup baik hingga sangat baik. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting dalam mencapai perubahan menuju komunitas pertanian perkotaan berkelanjutan dan dapat menjadi acuan untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam bidang ini.Problems in urban farming communities include lack of public awareness and support, water and soil pollution, limited resources and space, and difficulty accessing markets to sell urban farming products. Community organizing and cooperation are needed to overcome the institutional development of urban farming communities that require change. This study aims to study changes in the urban farming community in Surakarta using the AIDP model analysis approach. This study uses descriptive analytical methods and case studies to investigate the phenomenon of urban farming in Surakarta. This study selected locations purposively based on specific criteria and involved 50 members of the urban farming community as samples. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and observations with a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the stages of the strategy have different levels of success. Strategy evaluation stages, such as partnerships with local traders and financial institutions, vertical land use and open dialogue, are not going well, while leadership training and social campaigns are pretty good. At the identification stage, increasing financial literacy and sustainable waste management systems could have improved, but collaboration with educational institutions and non-governmental organizations went well. Furthermore, the development stage shows that promoting the branding of agricultural products and innovative institutional models could be better. However, the use of biofilter technology and coaching activities and leadership rotation are going well to very well. This research provides essential insights into achieving changes towards sustainable urban farming communities and can serve as a reference for further developments in this field.

Abstract

The problem to be answered in this study is whether green product knowledge (GPK) affects eco-innovation through the mediation of green transformational leadership (GTL) in the processed organic food agroindustry. This research is important because processed organic food is one of the solutions to provide healthy food products for the community and has a broad impact on environmental sustainability through environmentally friendly production practices. The basic research method is an explanatory case study; the data collection technique uses the interview method by distributing 175 questionnaires to 35 agroindustry MSMEs of processed organic food products. Only 150 questionnaires are filled in to be analyzed further, and data analysis uses partial least square. Based on the research results, the first finding is that GPK positively and significantly affects GTL. The second finding is that GPK positively and significantly affects eco-innovation in the processed organic food agroindustry (EI). The third finding is that GTL positively and significantly affects EI. The fourth finding is that GPK positively and significantly affects EI mediated by GTL.

Abstract

This study raises the issue of farmer satisfaction as a farmer card (kartu tani) user as the main focus. The aim is to measure farmer satisfaction using the farmer card (FC). The research was conducted using the case study method with a deliberate selection of research locations in Karanganyar, Sukoharjo and Wonogiri Regencies. Data was obtained through interviews, surveys, and observations. The study results indicate that service quality is the main factor contributing to farmer satisfaction, placing it in the first rank with a very high level of satisfaction. Positive testimonials from other farmers also show a significant level of satisfaction, ranking second. The experience of using the FC, which ranks third, also positively impacts the satisfaction level of farmers. Meanwhile, the accessibility of FCs and the quality of their products received quite satisfactory ratings in the fourth and fifth ranks. The financial institution's marketing strategy is ranked sixth with the same assessment, indicating the potential for improvement. This finding has implications for expanding responsive and more responsive services for farmer satisfaction using FCs. Recommendations for future research involve further exploring the factors that influence satisfaction levels and the development of more effective strategies in the promotion and marketing of FCs.

Abstract

In the face of rapid urban growth, this community service activity addresses the problem of decreasing green open land and the lack of awareness of sustainable agriculture. Activities carried out during the car-free day on Jalan Slamet Riyadi, Surakarta, involved a plant clinic, demonstrations of sustainable maintenance and distribution of seeds. The aim is to increase the understanding of urban communities about the importance of sustainable agriculture and provide practical guidance. Through direct interaction with experts and hands-on practice, these activities increase people's understanding and confidence in caring for plants. The distribution of seedlings also stimulates interest in gardening and an increase in greenery. The results of this dedication encourage active participation in urban farming, providing benefits to the environment and the community's quality of life. This activity confirmed that direct approaches with communities, through clinics, demonstrations, and active participation, effectively address urban environmental challenges and raise awareness of sustainable agriculture.
