Abstract

The outline of this research issues are how the process of, learning dhemistry use problem-based learning model, how the effectiveness of the application of the model of problem-based learning, and how to increase literacy competence of science students on Solublity and Ksp material. Subject of the research are the students of clas IX IPA 4 of Kudus MAN school year 2014/2015. The result shows that cognitive learning students improve from cycle I to cycle II, namely the number of students who pass are 43.5% and increase the percentage of classical completenass to 87.5%. The analysis results of N-gain competence in science literacy is 0.60, it’s also include in medium category and the average value about 84.2. Therefore, using this problem-based learning model can be one of the teacher’s reference to carry out a process of learning and increase literacy science students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Tujuan penelitian adalah menciptakan prototipe modul pementasan  drama yang digunakan di tingkat SMA kelas XI. Desain penelitian dan pengembangan merupakan modifikasi antara model Jolly dan Bolitho dengan model Dick Carey dan Carey. Terdapat tujuh tahapan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) identifikasi kebutuhan, (2) eksplorasi kebutuhan, (3) produksi bahan ajar modul, (4) validasi ahli, (5) revisi produksi bahan ajar, (6) evaluasi formatif, (7) produk akhir. Modul pementasan drama dikembangkan berdasarkan identifikasi dan eksplorasi kebutuhan.  Modul dikembangkan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan. Kemudian modul  divalidasi ahli. Validasi ahli dilakukan oleh empat pakar yang menilai aspek kelayakan materi, kelayakan bahasa, kelayakan penyajian dan kelayakan kegrafikan. Setelah divalidasi modul pementasan drama yang dikembangkan diperbaiki dan diuji coba kepraktisan orang-per-orang (one-to-one) kepada tiga peserta didik kelas XI SMA Unggul Negeri 4 Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pementasan drama yang dikembangkan untuk siswa kelas XI SMA Unggul Negeri 4 Palembang dinyatakan layak. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk melanjutkan penelitian ini sampai tahap assessment stage.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the learners’ needs toward the drama script writing material development using a scientific approach. This research applied a qualitative approach. The data were collected with observation, questionnaire, and interview techniques. The applied instruments were observation, questionnaire, and interview. The sample consisted of learners. The findings showed that the learners needed communication and technology-based teaching materials to support their needs of drama script writing skill training. Based on the learners’ characteristics identification, they needed learning application to make the learning activities and to freely enrich the sources. They also needed interesting teaching materials that had many examples, provided writing exercises, the opportunity to interact, time to work the exercise, and space to perform. Therefore, this research proposed Moodle application as a learning material in the form of a Student Worksheet. This initial stage of research is expected to be the beginning of drama script writing material development with a scientific approach and based on Moodle. The results of the learners’ need analysis could be also used by other researchers to obtain the 21st-century learners’ characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bernalar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah dalam perkuliahan Psikolinguistik melalui pembelajaran konstruktivisme. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian berlangsung selama dua siklus, mulai September –Desember 2007. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester V Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dan daerah. Prosedur penelitian diawali dengan perencanaan, implementasi, observasi, dan evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan bernalar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan Psikolinguistik melalui pembelajaran konstruktivisme. Penelitian berakhir pada siklus II karena, baik dari hasil tes maupun hasil proses pembelajaran, telah memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

This study is a quasi-experimental research analyzing the reading comprehension achievement of the eleventh graders of Senior High School in Surabaya. This experimental research is comparing the effects of peer tutoring with QUICK method and task-based method to help the students to increase the students’ reading achievement. Besides for increasing the students’ reading achievement, this study has the main purpose to give a variation in teacher’s teaching reading techniques. This study uses independent samples t-test and paired samples t-test to indicate the students’ significant difference in achieving the reading comprehension in peer tutoring with QUICK method and task based method. Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media to analyze the building blocks of poetry by using sparkol videoscribe in 10th grade students. This research is a development research (R&D). This research method is used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing the questionnaire which was seen from the results of the high and low percentage of the needs desired by students and the next teacher. Based on the results of product trials, it shows an increase in learning outcomes of 36.76, with a pretest mean of 41.96 while postest was 78.92. Based on these findings it can be concluded that the development of learning media to analyze the building blocks of poetry using sparkol videoscribe has an effect on the learning outcomes of 10th grade students.
