Abstract

The development of information technology has major influence to the role of human resourcemanagement (HRM) in a company. HRM transforms from administrative function to become strategicfunction. HRM practice has develop itself into four major roles, they are: strategic partner,administrative expert, employee champion and agent of change. Several new issues has emerges as aresult of HRM transformation, they are: knowledge base organization, strategic HRM and knowledgemanagement. This paper tries to give theoritical explanation about those issues. The goal of this paperis to encourage research about the new role of HRM in business practice.

Abstract

The changes of the business environment, societal expectations, and internal processes, cooperationare redesigning their succession planning to remaincompetitive in developing strong leadership teams.By moving to succession management, corporationscreate a more flexible and dynamic approach for preparing future executive and have the leadership necessary ready to meet the business challenges of the remainder of the decade and beyond. Succession management allows the corporate leadership to instill a more dynamic process became easier to integrate with the firm’s strategic initiatives. It better aligns organizational thinking with the external environment where the discontinuities make it possible to anticipate the full spectrum of change that a corporation will confront. It is the leadership and succession philosophy that focuses on developing the creativity and flexibility that allows for a more rapid response to change. So succession management as one way to became the success corporate.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, advertising, and variety seeking on brand switching. The samples in this study were students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, amounting to 100 respondents . Sampling technique in this study was the purposive sampling and convenience sampling. Data analysis method used is normality test and test multiple linear regression analysis with t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R). In this study meets the data for normal distribution. Hypothesis test showed that the quality of products and variety seeking has significant influence with t respectively 6.869 and 3.846, while no ads variables have a significant effect evidenced by the t value of -0.970. In the F test showed that together thevariable quality of the product, advertising, and variety seeking significant effect on brand switching. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of information quality, service quality, as antecedent of  online purchasing decision behavior. The population in this study is consumer  who had been shopping for products or goods through the sale and purchase site of tokopedia.com. This study using 100 respondents, sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The paradigm of this study is positivism and using survey as design research. Data analyzed in this research includes measurement test, normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroskedastisity test. Hypothesis  testing  using  multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F test, and the value  of coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that the quality of information has a positive and significant effect on the behavior of online purchasing decisions. Service quality variable have positive and significant effect to online purchasing decision behavior. Confidence variables have a significant and negative effect on online purchase decision behavior. Simultaneously the quality of information, service quality, and trust have a significant influence on the behavior of purchasing decision. The variance of independent variables in explainable  online decision are  17,4% and the rest explained by other variable outside of this research.Abstraksi : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas informasi, kualitas layanan, sebagai anteseden perilaku keputusan pembelian online. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang telah berbelanja produk atau barang melalui situs jual beli tokopedia.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 responden, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Paradigma penelitian ini adalah positivisme dan menggunakan survei sebagai penelitian desain. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji pengukuran, uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, t-test, uji F, dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas informasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku keputusan pembelian online. Variabel kualitas layanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku keputusan pembelian online. Variabel keyakinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan negatif terhadap perilaku keputusan pembelian online. Bersamaan dengan itu kualitas informasi, kualitas layanan, dan kepercayaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku keputusan pembelian. Varians variabel independen dalam keputusan online yang dapat dijelaskan adalah 17,4% dan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Investment is one of the important components for the sustainability of economic development process. Research objectives to be achieved are to estimate the influence of foreign investment on economic growth, and vice versa.  The benefits to be gained are to increase the existence of economic growth theory can be applied in Indonesia, strengthen the results of previous studies, and clarify the understanding of the theory of economic growth. One of the way to analyze the influence of short-run and long run is to use dynamic models. In this study, the model used is the Engle Granger's Error Correction Models (EG-ECM), based Granger representation theorem. From the results of the research note that the variables that have a significant impact in the short run is the Foreign Direct Investment to GDP and vice versa. These research results have proved the existence of two-way causality
