Abstract

Mahasiswa sepanjang masa studinya di perguruan tinggi diharapkan untuk sukses dalam tiga hal, yaitu sukses akademik, sukses persiapan karir dan sukses sosial kemasyarakatan. Untuk mencapai ketiga sukses di atas mahasiswa harus memiliki motivasi, salah-satunya motivasi berprestasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa Jurusan Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam (KPI) Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Semester II dan IV berjumlah 73 Orang. Penulis menggunakan teknik total sampling dalam menentukan jumlah sampel. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 73 Orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang mengungkapkan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa, dimana hasil data yang diperoleh dari responden diolah dan dikategorikan ke dalam 5 kriteria kategori yaitu sangat tinggi (ST), tinggi (T), sedang (S), rendah (R), dan sangat rendah (SR). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik persentase. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: sebanyak 37 responden atau sebesar 51% memiliki motivasi berprestasi yang tinggi (T), 34 responden atau sebesar 46% memiliki motivasi berprestasi yang sangat tinggi (ST), dan sebanyak 2 responden atau sebesar 3% memiliki Motivasi berprestasi dalam kategori sedang (S). Apabila dilihat dari nilai persentase rata-rata secara keseluruhan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa KPI berada pada kategori tinggi (T) dengan nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 78.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how parents do daily interpersonal communication in guiding their children to learn online during the COVID-19 pandemic in Karang Tangah Pesisir Selatan Village. As long as learning is done online, parents feel the maximum in guiding their children to learn online, but in reality this is not the case. With the various responses that children see when learning online, parents try to guide their children in various ways and methods. This research is a field research using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by means of observation and interviews. The subjects in this study were 3 parents who were determined by purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that: First, in an informative approach, parents carry out interpersonal communication in guiding children to learn online related to online learning tasks given by the teacher every day through the whatsapp group. Second, parents have done it gently in a persuasive approach in guiding children to learn online. Third, at the stage of the instructive approach, parents try not to do anything that contains elements of coercion and violence against children or something that is threatening, punishing and physically taking because they don't want children to feel forced and burdened in online learning.

Abstract

Students' motivation is various and not sufficient, meanwhile Arabic is an obligation in the program of study PAI.This research determined the Arabic language learning motivation based school origins of the Islamic Education Study Program. The approach used is comparative quantitative. The population is 200 students. While data analysis used anova analaysis.The results found that the Arabic learning motivation of the students who graduated from Senior High Schools was categorized as moderate, S. The obtained percentage for this category was 70.62%. On the other hand, the students who graduated from Islamic Senior High School were categorized as high, T. The obtained percentage was 74.27%. The hypothesis test obtained a significant difference, indicated by the probability value of 0.017, lower than 0.05. The result asserted that guidance and counseling service was important to improve the Arabic learning motivation for the students of Islamic Study Program.

Abstract

Salah satu yang mempengaruhi stress mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi adalah dukungan sosial yang diterima mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Dukungan Sosial terhadap Stress Mahasiswa dalam Menyusun Skripsi di Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Bukittinggi yang sedang menjalani proses penyusunan skripsi berjumlah 224 mahasiswa. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling dan diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 144 mahasiswa. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala dukungan sosial, hardiness dan stress yang disusun dan dikembangkan sendiri oleh peneliti. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif menggunakan mean hipotetic; untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan dari variabel dukungan sosial (X) terhadap stress (Y) mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.02 < 0.05 dan nilai koefesien standardized coefficient (Beta) sebesar -0.270.

Abstract

Speaking is a form of communication tool used by individuals besides writing and listening. The communication that is carried out, of course, aims to convey messages to one individual to another. Communication is a necessity which of course cannot be separated from human life. In conveying a message, of course not everyone has the same ethical way of conveying messages properly. The research approach used in this research is qualitative. Where this method uses interview and observation methods in describing efforts to improve the ethics of communication between adolescents and peers. The purpose of the observations in this study was to see how the methods and ethics of communication used by adolescents in daily activities with peers. Many teenagers often ignore good communication ethics, especially with peers. This is due to environmental factors and individual innate which results in the neglect of ethics that must be maintained in communication.

Abstract

This article was created with the aim of knowing what factors influence student behavior, what efforts are made by the guidance counselor in overcoming them, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in dealing with behavior violating student rules. The supporting factors for the guidance counselor in overcoming the behavior of SMPN 1 Rao Selatan students are cooperation between teachers, the existence of a habitutation program carried out at school, collaboration with parents of students, and motivation from students. Whil the inhibiting factors for the counseling teacher in overcoming behavior violating the rules are parents, association outside of school, and the lack of awareness of the students themselves.

Abstract

Education is one way for individuals to explore their potential. Education is a necessity of human rights. Every individual has the right to receive education according to his wishes and needs. Interest in continuing education at tertiary institutions is of course the desire of every individual. So in this case it is necessary to study the factors that support students’ interest in continuing higher education. In describing these factors, researchers used a qualitative approach with interview and observation methods. Based on the results of research conducted that the supporting factors of student interest in MAN 1 Bukittinggi City are influenced by internal or external factors and external factors.

Abstract

Children who grow up in an orphanage have the same rights as children who are in a family environment. Communication carried out by caragivers to provide motivation to foster children in terms of self-confidence. Based on this, orphanage caregivers need to carry out good communication patterns in increasing the confidence of foster children. Confidence is a very important element in everyday life. Confidence is an attitude, a feeling of confidence that exists in a person that he is capable of achieving a goal. Fpster children must ave high self-confidence to compete in terms of achievement with other children at school. The pattern of communication that must be owned by caregivers must be good so that foster children can be confident that caregivers are a place where they can tell stories and by communicating with caregivers can provide motivation for themselves.

Abstract

School rules are rules set by the school in order to create order and discipline for students at school. Violations committed by students will create an atmosphere that is not conducive. The background of this research is that the regulations that have been made by the school will determine the discipline of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Solok City. If there are students who are not disciplined, it means ignoring the rules that have been made by the school. The rules are bound by weights that will be a punishment for students who violate school rules. In this study used descriptive qualitative research methods. Data obtained from key informants and supporting informants. The key informant is a BK teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Solok City. And the supporting informants are homeroom teachers of subjects and class VIII students of SMP N 1 Solok City. The technique used in this research is interview and observation technique. In this study, it was revealed that discipline is strongly influenced by discipline because school rules have their respective weights. And if the weight has reached 150, students will be threatened with expulsion from school. The more violations, the more undisciplined the school will be. SMPN 1 Solo city is still able to maintain discipline and does not escape the important role of BK teachers in minimizing violations committed by students.

Abstract

Religious guidance is a process of providing appropriate assistance by mentors so that children can increase their piety through religious approaches. The religious approach is a container for fostering independence with good directions in accordance with the commands of Allah SWT so that children understand independence for a better future. The background of this research is considering the number of children who are less independent so that it becomes an obstacle in every action. Because nowadays educating children to be independent, it is necessary to use a religious approach so that children are independent in all things and teach children to always be guided by religious teachings. The use of this religious approach must be applied to children from an early age because religious development takes quite a long time so that the goals can be achieved properly. In this study using descriptive qualitative research. In this study it was revealed that the religious approach is very influential on the independence of children today. In this sophisticated era, children must be equipped with religious knowledge to guide children in the future. An independent child who is equipped with religious knowledge will be different from a child who is independent but is not equipped with religious knowledge. From the results of religious guidance carried out at the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage, it was able to show quality personality changes that were in accordance with religious rules.
