Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan realitas peran anak dalam konstruksi sosial budaya oleh masyarakat suku Batak di tengah kehidupan sosial yang intens dengan beragam suku bangsa di daerah perantauan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena secara keseluruhan hasil dari penelitian ini akan diolah dengan menganalisis perspektif masyarakat secara langsung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif guna menganalisis fakta dengan interpretasi yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran anak dalam konstruksi sosial budaya Batak mengalami perubahan jika dianalisis melalui proses dialektika konstruksi sosial. Peran anak dalam keluarga suku Batak sangat kompleks dan sangat erat kaitannya dengan budaya Suku Batak.

Abstract

The issue of bullying has become a serious problem in the world of education. Whereas schools should be places of learning that are safe for students to improve their academic knowledge and social life. There are three central roles involved in bullying events, namely: perpetrator, victim, and eye witness or bystander. Active defending behavior is a type of bystander (witnesses) who takes the role of the victim to help when bullying occurs. The purpose of this study was to measure and determine the effect of active defending behavior on bystanders in preventing bullying among high school students. Explanative quantitative type approach with survey method will be used in this study. The results of this study show that the value of F = 0.730 and the value of Sig 0.849 > 0.05. Then, the results of the data analysis of the value of the coefficient of determination of the independent variable active defending is 0.64 so that it can be stated that active defending has an effect on preventing bullying in students by 6.4% while there are several other things that also affect prevention of bullying in students by 93.6% but not mentioned in the this research. It is hoped that this research can be used as a reference to reduce the problem of bullying in schools by intensifying preventive measures

Abstract

Infrastructure development is something that is expected to change the socio-economic conditions of a community. The construction of Retention Ponds in the Andir Village area, Baleendah Subdistrict, Bandung Regency has the main function to overcome flooding problems that hamper the socio-economic activities of the community. The purpose of this research is to describe the social impact analysis of the Andir Retention Pond development on the condition of the Andir Village community. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the construction of the Andir Retention Pond has had an impact on increasing the population, changing the urgency of infrastructure from flood control efforts to environmental management, sanitation, and economic support.

Abstract

To help the elderly in their daily activities, good communication is needed between the elderly and the caregivers. However, the communication limitations of the elderly make interactions with caregivers run dynamically. The purpose of this research is to find out how social interactions are established between the elderly and the caregivers. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study method. As for the results of this study, there are forms of associative social interactions such as accommodation and cooperation between the elderly and caregivers. Then, there are forms of dissociative social interaction, namely conflict and contravention caused by misunderstanding of communication between the elderly and the caregivers.

Abstract

Maintaining a culture s existence is not easy, the existence of a culture-based organization becomes essential for its existence. This makes the Wanita Hindu Dharma Indonesia (WHDI) Organization have a role in maintaining the existence of Balinese culture. The aim of this research is to find out how the background, contribution, and impact of the WHDI organization on the existence of Bali culture. The research uses a qualitative approach with observational data collection techniques, interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. The results of this study show that the existence of the Wanita Indonesian Hindu Dharma organization has an impact on the Bali culture s existence through programs run from the respective fields ranging from social, cultural, religious, economic, and organizational.

Abstract

The industrial sector is one of the economic sectors that should be a sector that can lead other economic sectors to develop and improve. As the heart of the national industry, West Java Province is very densely populated with industrial areas. It is not surprising that West Java Province is a significant producer of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Basically, the industrial sector has an important role in a regional economic development. The main objective is to imcrease the number of jobs for workers of productive age who have not yet found a job. Increased employment in the industrial sector. There are many factors in the absorption of the industrial sector workforce in West Jawa Province. To find out these problems, this articels uses the Literature Review method. This method is used to search for journal article serach uses relevant previous research and gets 10 articeles to be analyzed. The results of research journals that have beenanalyzed, it can be concluded that the factors that influence the absorption of the workforce in West Java Province, namely, such as the number of business units, wage levels, investment, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and Human Development Index (IPM).

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan jumlah penduduk tertinggi ke empat di dunia, namun persebaran penduduknya masih belum merata disetiap daerah, seperti pada kecamatan sukajadi yang jumlah penduduknya mencapai 100 ribu penduduk dan kecamatan Bandung Wetan yang jumlah penduduknya hanya sekitar 37 ribu orang saja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi literatur dan wawancara ke beberapa orang yang bersangkutan. Tujuan dibuatnya artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah banyaknya atau sedikitnya penduduk akan mempengaruhi kualitas sumberdaya manusianya apabila dilihat dari segi pendidikan dan pekerjaannya. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah bahwa penduduk kecamatan sukajadi hanya 10,2% yang mengikuti wajib belajar minimal 9 tahun, serta jumlah pensiunan lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan penduduk kecamatan Bandung Wetan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa banyaknya penduduk atau tingginya angka kelahiran tidak dapat menentukan kualitas sumberdaya manusianya, seperti pada kecamatan sukajadi yang jumlah penduduknya banyak namun apabila dilihat kualitas sdmnya dari segi pendidikan dan pekerjaan masih lebih unggul kecamatan bandung wetan yang penduduknya lebih sedikit.

Abstract

Sarabba is a traditional drink made from ginger and brown sugar originating from South Sulawesi, especially the Bugis and Madurese tribes. The purpose of this article is to find out the potential of sarabba to become a trend like coffee among young people and what innovations have been made as an effort to maintain the existence of sarabba in this modern era. The research method used is a qualitative method using an ethnographic approach and with data collection techniques through literature studies and also interviews to related parties whose results will be in the form of words. From the results of the research, sarabba has undergone many developments starting from packaging that is starting to be attractive and varied flavors such as mocca and chocolate flavors, and currently there are many instant or powder sarabba and also the ice cream version of sarabba, so the possibility of sarabba becoming a trend like coffee among teenagers is getting bigger, considering that in Makassar itself sarabba is much loved and is everywhere. So it can be concluded that: 1) There have been many innovations to maintain the existence of sarabba in this modern era, for example the sarabba innovation carried out by Sarabba Sukma Jahe Makassar and Sarabba Indonesia stores. This innovation is done by changing the shape and creating new flavor variants. Innovation in terms of form, namely there is sarabba in instant form and sarabba in the form of ice cream. While from the flavor variants there are mocca, chocolate and milk flavors. 2) Sarabba has the potential to become a trend among young people but is still within a limited scope, namely in Makassar. With the many innovations in sarabba today, it is certainly a driving factor for sarabba to become a trend among young people. However, when compared to the coffee trend, the sarabba trend is quite difficult to realize.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the impact of women's dual role in economic and family dynamics and its impact on women's survival. Researchers used a literature study method which was strengthened using qualitative methods in the form of interviews. This literature study method is the collection of information from various journals, articles, and theses. Apart from that, qualitative methods in the form of interviews were used to strengthen the results of the literature study. Interviews were conducted online via chat with resource persons who work as school employees, nurses, and also teachers. Based on the results of interviews, it was found that the dual roles experienced by women did not burden the lives of housewives. Urgent economic needs force mothers to participate in providing household needs. Women also play an important role in improving family welfare. Therefore, researchers provide an overview of the effectiveness of dual roles in economic and family dynamics.

Abstract

Peran dan fungsi orang tua terhadap anak sangatlah penting dalam keluarga. Ketidakhadiran salah satu saja, khususnya ayah, dalam membimbing dan mendukung perkembangan anak sangatlah penting dalam sebuah keluarga dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan dan emosinal anak. Kebanyakan anak secara tanpa sadar memiliki masalah peran ayah yang hilang atau fatherless di dalam kehidupannya, bahkan Indonesia menempati urutan ketiga dalam peran ayah yang hilang atau fatherless. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak kehilangan ayah terhadap kesehatan mental dan emosional anak, faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan fatherless, dan staretgi adaptif untuk mengatasi kesulitan yang timbul setelah kehilangan ayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan mengumpulkan buku, artikel, dan penelitian sebelumnya yang mendukung penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil menujukkan bahwa, fatherless memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental dan emosinal anak. penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya peran ayah dalam keluarga dan pentingnya dukungan sosial untuk mengatasi dampak dari fatherless.
