Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Musamus, Merauke. Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah fisika dasar pada tahun akademik 20192 yang berjumlah 39 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu mendeskripsikan hasil penilaian formatif berbasis Quiziz yang diperoleh mahasiswa pada materi fisika dasar khususnya Hukum Newton dan Penerapannya. Tujuan penelitiannya adalah mendeskripsikan hasil penilaian formatif berbasis Quizizz pada mata kuliah fisika dasar pada masa Covid-19 Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal pilihan ganda dengan 5 pilihan jawaban yang berjumlah 12 nomor. Validitas instrumen penelitian menggunakan product momen dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan KR-20. hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata kemampuan mahasiswa pada 4 indikator materi hukum Newton dan Penerapannya diketahui bahwa indikator 1 yang diwakili oleh 3 nomor soal memiliki rata-rata persentase 68,67%. Indikator 2 yang diwakili 3 butir soal mencapai rata-rata persentase 70,67%. Indikator 3 yang diwakili 3 butir soal memperoleh presentase 77,33%. Indikator 4 yang diwakili 3 butir soal mencapai persentase 69,33%. Secara keseluruhan indikator dengan rata-rata skor tertinggi adalah indikator 3 dengan rata-rata 77,33% dan indikator dengan skor terendah adalah indikator 1 dengan rata-rata skor 68,67%. Rata-rata skor yang diperoleh pada 4 indikator tersebut adalah 71,5% sehingga berada pada kategori baik

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah pengaruh dari gaya kognitif terhadap hasil belajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah (Problem Based Instruction). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh dari gaya kognitif terhadap hasil belajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah. Gaya kognitif merupakan variabel penting yang mempengaruhi pilihan-pilihan pebelajar dalam bidang akademik, kelanjutan perkembangan akademik, bagaimana pebelajar belajar serta bagaimana pebelajar dan pembelajar berinteraksi di dalam kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan penelitian asosiatif dengan hasil ketuntasan 79,9% dan rata-rata keseluruhan, kelas VIID tergolong dalam gaya kognitif field independent. Gaya kognitif berpengaruh terhadap hasil dengan persamaan regresi Y = 64,083 + 1,295X dan kontribusi yang di sumbangkan gaya kognitif (X) terhadap hasil belajar (Y) sebesar 20,6%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the application of the discovery learning model on the subject matter of light in class VIIIC students of SMP Negeri 8 Kupang even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is descriptive. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 8 Kupang for the 2019/2020 school year. The subjects in this study were researchers and 22 students of class VIIIC at SMP Negeri 8 Kupang, even semester, 2019/2020 academic year. The techniques used to collect data in this study are observation and tests. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of the research data, it shows that in general, the application of the discovery learning model for the subject matter of light for students is optimal. In detail, the researcher's ability to manage to learn is obtained which includes: planning, implementing, and evaluating learning, including in the good category. The learning outcomes test (THB) of students for cognitive learning outcomes tests on learning implementation activities which include: preliminary activities, core activities, closing activities, time allocation, and class atmosphere are all in the very high category and cognitive achievement for each lesson plan is all complete.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan radiasi gamma di bidang kesehatan, salah satunya adalah penggunaan sinar gamma dalam proses radioterapi. Penyerapan energi radiasi ke dalam tubuh dapat menyebabkan munculnya radikal bebas dalam tubuh yang dapat merugikan organ lain di sekitar target penyinaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan radiasi gamma terhadap hepar mencit dan sifat hepatoprotektif ekstrak kulit manggis(Garcinia mangostana) dalam mengurangi kerusakan sel yang ditimbulkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan ekstrak kulit manggis 5 dosis varian berbeda ke mencit dan diberi paparan radiasi selama 40 menit dengan dosis total 268 μSv selama 14 hari, kemudian diukur kadar SGPT (serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase) dan jumlah kerusakan sel dari preparathistopatologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar SGPT turun menjadi 77,7 U/L dari kadar awal 128,67 U/L. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa ekstrak kulit manggis memiliki sifat hepatoprotektif yang dapat mengurangi kerusakan sel akibat paparan radiasi gamma.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji kelayakan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis kinesthetic, intellectual, visual, auditory, repetition untuk mengukur keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada materi Suhu dan Kalor tingkat sekolah menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Research and Development (R & D) dengan model prosedural. Kelayakan modul dianalisis melalui validasi materi, bahasa, kegrafisan, pembelajaran dan penyajian oleh para ahli, guru, dan teman sejawat. Pelaksanaan validasi dilakukan melalui penilaian modul menggunakan lembar penilaian validasi. Data hasil validasi dianalisis secara kuantitatif untuk mengetahui presentase dan kategori kelayakan modul. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh presentase rata-rata kelayakan modul pada aspek materi mencapai 78,82%, bahasa 81,25%, kegrafisan 95,54%, serta pembelajaran dan penyajian 87,07%. Skor rata-rata ideal 84,01% dan presentasenya lebih besar dari presentase natural cut of point. Melalui analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis kinesthetic, intellectual, visual, auditory, repetition, layak diujicobakan dalam skala kecil di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of kahoot! learning media. in measuring the understanding of the concept of temperature and heat. The subjects of this study were 33 class VII students of MTs Al Ikhlas. The research model used is descriptive quantitative with the test instrument used in this study, namely 9 multiple choice questions with 4 answer options. The results of the analysis in this study showed that of the nine items, there were 1 item in the very good category, 5 items good, 1 item sufficient, and 2 items not very good. On effectiveness, from the analysis and discussion it was found that the learning media kahoot! quite effective in measuring understanding of the concepts of temperature and heat with a percentage of 67%, with several factors including students' understanding of concepts, accuracy in answering questions, maximizing the use of time, and stability of the internet network.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a two-level Natural Science (IPA) test instrument based on the jumanji game in measuring understanding of the concept of work and simple planes. The research method in this case is a quantitative method with a modification of the development model. The measurement instrument developed in this study is a two-level science test or a reasoned multiple choice test specifically for the business chapter and simple planes. This research instrument that has been developed was tested on 256 students of SMP Abu Bakar. The results of this study indicate that a measurement instrument has been produced in the form of a two-level science test based on the jumanji game which can measure students' understanding of concepts about business and simple and reliable machines that are valid and reliable. These results are evidenced by the validity and reliability of the two-level science test, which are 0.83 and 0.53 respectively. Meanwhile, the achievement of students' understanding of concepts related to business and simple machines is 51% which is in the high category. The students' conceptual understanding measured using the two-level science test is high because it exceeds the minimum criteria that have been determined.

Abstract

This study aims to create STEM-based science teaching materials based on simple electrical circuits and determine the feasibility of STEM-based teaching materials. Research and development of the Dick & Carey model is the type of research used. The research process comprises four stages: needs analysis, product design, validation and evaluation, and testing. Material experts, presentation experts, linguists, and graphic experts are all involved in expert validation. Teachers who teach science subjects participate in the product feasibility test. Individual, small group, and field trials assess students’ readability. Expert validation revealed that the content aspect was 97.7 % with a very decent category, the presentation aspect was 97.7% with a very proper category, the language aspect was 85% with a very decent category, and the visual aspect was 80 percent with a worthy category. The science teacher’s feasibility test results showed that the content aspect was 90 % with an excellent category, the presentation aspect was 98.6% with an outstanding category, and the language aspect was 96.7% with a superior category. Students’ readability test results showed an average score of 87.7% in the excellent category. Based on the validation and legibility trials findings, developing STEM-based science teaching materials (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) on simple electrical circuit materials is feasible. It can be used as a learning resource.

Abstract

The use of technology for the implementation of learning is increasingly being used. One of them is by making learning videos. Community service activities are carried out through training on the use of microlearning with powtoons in learning. This training activity aims to improve teacher pedagogic competence. The targets in this training activity are Muhammadiyah Kartosentanan Middle School teachers which will be held in September 2022 to October 2022. This training activity is carried out in five stages including surveys and permits; socialization; training; monitoring; and evaluation. The results obtained were in the form of increasing teacher pedagogical competence through training in the use of microlearning with powtoons in learning. The increase in teacher competency can be seen from the average pretest and posttest results where 92% of teachers already know about the use of microlearning in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the use of a spring oscillator practicum on students of SMA Negeri 1 Indramayu and SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu. The method used is the ADDIE model R & D method using a one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the calculation of the n-gain score of 0.688 and 0.680 obtained the interpretation of increasing student learning outcomes in the medium category. Meanwhile, students' responses to the spring oscillator practicum tool obtained an average score of 82.3% from the three aspects with the interpretation of the score "good". From the research data, it can be concluded that the use of a spring oscillator is effective in high school physics learning
