Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the process of making candied nutmeg by UD Ilomata and describing Ilomata’s candied nutmeg marketing. The research carried out start from preparation in the April until preparation of reports in the June 2016. Data used is primary data obtained through interviews by giving questioners to the owner of UD Ilomata, and from direct observation to the production activity and marketing of Ilomata’s candied nutmeg. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis. Data analysis in this research is analysing market margin by calculating cost and the price margins on every channel marketing that involved in the marketing of Ilomata’s candied nutmeg and also calculate the Break Even Point. The result of this research shows that Ilomata’s candied nutmeg packed in three different packages, 3 ounce package, 2.5 ounce package, and 3 ounce package. Ilomata’s candied nutmeg marketed on four stores in Bitung City, two stores in Manado City, a store in Gorontalo province and the marketing directly from producer to the consumer in UD Ilomata. Biggest marketing margin is Rp 5.000 with 16% share found in the Gorontalo province’s channel marketing from the 2.5 ounce package and with the biggest profit margin is Rp 3.764 found in the Bitung CityMart’s channel marketing from the 2 ounce package. All of Ilotama’s channel marketing can be said efficient because total cost is small seen from the rotation of sold time product. UD Ilotmata’s Candied nutmeg business can hold on and exist till today because theres diligence, curiosity and entrepreneurship from the owner namely Mrs. Renny Umar.*lwths*

Abstract

The study aimed to (1) describe the characteristics of the socio-economic, (2) describe the characteristic of ecological farming in the region KPHP unit II Bolaang Mongondow district, and (3) analyze the development strategy KPHP Unit II in the district based on empowerment Bolaang Mongondow cultivators. This research was conducted with descriptive and semi-quantitative approach. Data analysing for the development of management strategies used SWOT analysis. The primary data obtained through interviews in three (3) villages namely Pindolili, Village Pindol and Village Totabuan to 20 informants, consisting of 3 (three) the village chief, two religious leaders in the two (2) village, 2 (two) historians the formation of the village and 12 (twelve) cultivators in three (3) villages. While the secondary data obtained through statistical data and information obtained from the forestry policy forestry official website. Results of research on (1) socio-economic condition around the area KPHP unit II Bolaang Mongondow district shows that the agricultural sector is still the main source of livelihood of society. Socio-cultural conditions of communities in the study area are a heterogeneous society with different ethnic groups. They are still implement a culture or tradition that can threaten the sustainability of their livelihoods; (2) Ecological condition in the area KPHP unit II shows that the high danger of erosion due to geography land that shaped mountains with slope ranging from moderate to steep and the actions of farming and poor land management on critical land of steep hills. (3) Based on the results of the SWOT analysis for development strategy is the designation of priority and urgency, the development of nature tourism potential for increased use of environmental services, increased perception and participation of the formal integration of development and the development of food security by reforestation and forest conservation. The implementation strategy of forest management in the region KPHP unit II Bolaang Mongondow needs to be done in the form of maintenance of the water catchment area to ensure the availability of water production for the dam in the village Pindol, increasing role in the development of tourism and recreation participation of the parties primarily concerned to control encroachment and set the direction and strategy of development associated with the function of the ministry of forestry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of brand image on consumer loyalty Share Tea drink in the city of Manado. In its development, bubble tea drinks into today's drinks with a variety of flavor variants that can attract consumers in all ages. Reach back the market that has declined, and to maintain the market it has gained is a challenge that Share Tea companies must face in creating consumer loyalty. This study uses data obtained from questionnaires, observations and direct interviews with the manager of Tea Share in Manado City. The analysis technique used is multiple regressions. From this research can be concluded that Components of brand image consisting of coorporate image, user image, and product image has a influence on Consumer Loyalty. The components of the brand image together have a positive influence on consumer loyalty. The coorporate image and user image individually does not significantly affect consumer loyalty, while product image individually has a significant effect on consumer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profitability of broiler farming business owned by FK for 1 year in Matungkas Village Dimembe Subdistrict of North Minahasa Regency based on Profit Margin Ratio on Sales, ROA, ROE. This research is Case Study study using Primary data and Secondary data. Primary data collection is done by direct interviews with business owners and employees including business results and costs. Secondary data is obtained from Matungkas Village Office, Dimembe District Office, Minimum BPS Office, Agriculture Department Kab. Minut. Data were analyzed by descriptive method. Profitability of broiler trading business in analysis by using Profit margin on sales analysis, Return On Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE). The results showed Gross profit margin (GPM), Net profit margin (NPM), Return on assets, Return on equity period II and IV increased due to demand of chicken many in that period in August and December due to the need for religious holidays. Periods I, III and V decreased due to reduced production factor and there was no religious holiday period so high profit was in period II and IV.

Abstract

This study aims to see how much income earned by farmers. This study was conducted from July to September 2017. The data used are primary data and secondary data. This research was conducted by direct interview technique with 18 (eighteen) respondents in this case palm sugar processor and also using written data in document form obtained from village head of North Lowu Village. The data obtained will be analyzed using descriptive analysis and will be presented in tabular form. Total acceptance of all palm sugar processors in Kalatin Hamlet, amounting to Rp.3.310.000 / day of the total revenue obtained by all palm sugar processing with a cost incurred of Rp.2.411.902 then, obtained profit by 18 processors that is Rp.898.098 / day if not calculated raw material costs, then each processor gain profit Rp.49.898/day. However, if calculated raw material costs then the losses experienced by all palm sugar processing that is Rp.-2.903.902 / day with the cost incurred is Rp. 6.213.902 and each processor suffered loss of Rp.- 161.327 / day. If the cost for the raw material and labor were not included, the processing of palm sugar in Kalatin Hamlet is economically and feasible to be cultivated by R / C = 1,37.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the impact of the conversion of agricultural land of cloves to the socio-economic condition of farmers. The study was conducted from May to July 2017. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews to 5 (five) respondents who sell land for land converted. Secondary data is obtained from Tetetana Hill nature reserve, Kumelembuai village government, books and journals. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The research results showed that viewed from the economic side, land conversion has a positive impact for the farmers family and local society. Positive impacts for farmers family include increasing the income, helping to construction the house of farmers, opening up a new farming businesses, and for local society like existence of jobs. Viewed from the social side, land conversion has positive and negative impacts, that is: change of farmers family life status (positive impact), and the influence of visitor habits toward society (negative impact).

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the factors that affect the occurrence of labor migration in the villageTatelu, Dimembe Sub-district, North Minahasa Regency, (2) to know the socio-economic background of labormigration from agriculture to non agricultural. (3) to know whether after changing the expectation of labor isrealized. This study was conducted from February to April 2016 in Tatelu Village, Dimembe District, NorthMinahasa Regency. Data collections have used survey method. Techniques of collecting data throughinterviews used a questionnaire. Sources of data in this study were labor migrants who moved fromagriculture to non-agricultural sectors. Secondary data is obtained from Tatelu Village office government. Thesampling technique uses purposive sampling. The variables measured in this study were (1) Revenue, (2)Education level, (3) Area of agricultural land, (4) Occupational conditions in non-agricultural, (5) Reasonsfor labor migration, (7) Number of dependents, (8) Social activities that are usually followed by labor in thevillage. Data Analysis Method used Primary data obtained is processed descriptively. The results showed (1)the factors that encourage the migration of labor from agriculture to non-agriculture namely; reducedagricultural land, low wages in agriculture, age, and non-farm employment are more promising, (2) Most ofthe respondents who follow social activities in the village of Tatelu such as harmonious because in addition tobeneficial for the respondent can also strengthen the rope fraternity among members of the rukun. Byparticipating in the rukun in the village, the respondent must have more income because they have to spendmoney in every meeting that is always held. (3) After migrating from agriculture to non-agricultural sector, allexpectation of interviewed respondents is realized because besides earning big enough they also feelcomfortable working in non-agricultural sector.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze raw material inventory at UD. Mie Steven. This research was conducted for four months from January to April 2017. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through interviews with the company, while secondary data obtained from data that has been compiled in the form of documents from the company, data from BPS, previous research or from the internet. The data is processed using EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. The result of the research is known that the policy of raw material inventory control is done by UD. Mie Steven is not efficient yet. This is shown by the company's inventory cost is bigger than the result of analysis using EOQ method is 6,693 Kg with total cost of economical inventory Rp.11.325.500.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cultivation of seasoning plants "rampa-rampa mix" andmarketing channels that occur in the Village Sea and the city of Manado. This research was conducted in September 2016 until October 2016. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data collection was conducted by direct interview technique with 40 (forty) respondents in this case seasoning plants "rampa-rampa campur" and also using written data in the form of documents obtained from the village head. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive analysis and presented in the form of story or table. The results of thisstudy indicate that the average profit of cooking season is Rp.461.104 in 1 (one) time to make asale.
