Abstract

Hidden curriculum helps manifest the development of students’ religious characters; however, it is often neglected and not used properly in the learning process. The questions posed in this study include: How is the implementation of the hidden curriculum in the development of the religious characters of students? To what extent the hidden curriculum influences the development of the religious characters of students? and What is the impact of the hidden curriculum on the formation of the religious characters of students? This mixed methods study obtained data by means of questionnaire, interview, and observation. The subject of the study had a sample size of 153. The study employed the SPSS ver. 25 to analyze the quantitative data, whereas the qualitative data were presented descriptively. The findings indicate that the hidden curriculum has been applied inside and outside the classroom. The study revealed that the hidden curriculum implemented at Dayah Jeumala Amal and Dayah Al-Furqan reached the medium level of 40% and of 34.78%, respectively and also created students with high religious characters of 51.54% and of 43.48%, respectively. Further, the simple linear regression test obtained the value of 0.00, at the level of significance α = 0.005, indicating that there was an influence of the hidden curriculum on the development of the religious characters of students. The influences of the hidden curriculum in the forms of role model, habituation, coaching, and attitudes from an educator have resulted in the birth of exemplary values ​​that are more long lasting and impactful within the students. In addition, the influences in the social and environmental forms have triggered the establishment of a harmonious relationship with other people and yielded an attitude of concern for the environment in which the students live. Moreover, the implementation of the hidden curriculum in the form of worship carried out in schools has also enabled the development of religious attitudes, including honesty, patience, and trustworthiness, within the students.

Abstract

Teacher as a curriculum developer has to be able to translate, explain and transform the values involved in the curriculum to his/her students. To develop the curriculum, a teacher can do the following activities, they are: planning, implementing and evaluating the curriculum. Through planning the curriculum, the teacher can predict what he/she want to achieve in the learning process. After planning, he/she should implement it. There are some steps the teacher can do in teaching such as preparing his/her students, explaining the material, assessing students and getting feedback to know the successful of teaching.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini (1) pemahaman guru kelas IV terhadap pendekatan saintifik dan pembelajaran tematik terpadu; (2) RPP tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik; (3) langkah-langkah penerapan pendekatan saintifik pada kegiatan inti proses pembelajaran; (4) aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik; (5) sikap peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik; dan (6) faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpul data terdiri dari observasi nonpartisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Triangulasi data dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu: triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPP yang dirancang merupakan tematik terpadu yang menerapkan pendekatan saintifik. Proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan kegiatan inti pembelajaran langkah-langkah kegiatan pendekatan saintifik. Aktivitas belajar peserta didik juga telah sesuai dengan langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik. Keberhasilan pembelajaran memerlukan faktor pendukung berupa sarana dan prasarana, disamping juga ada faktor yang menghambat.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan sebagai calon guru, diharapkan memiliki sikap positif terhadap profesi keguruan, sehingga akan menampilkan persepsi dan kepuasan yang baik terhadap cikal bakal pekerjaanya maupun motivasi kerja yang tinggi, yang pada akhirnya akan mencerminkan seorang calon guru yang mampu bekerja secara profesional dan memiliki kompetensi profesional yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan tentang sikap mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan sebagai calon guru terhadap profesi keguruan, dan apakah para calon guru telah memiliki sikap positif terhadap profesi keguruan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan berguna untuk mempersiapkan kompetensi dan kinerja profesional calon-calon guru. Dalam penelitian ini, yang dimaksud dengan sikap mahasiswa calon guru terhadap profesi keguruan adalah suatu kecenderungan seorang calon guru dalam merespon suka atau tidak suka terhadap profesi keguruan, yang pada akhirnya diungkapkan dalam bentuk tindakan atau perilaku yang berkenaan dengan calon profesinya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan metode survey dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Ar-Raniry, dalam penelitian ini diambil sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Random Sampling, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dengan melihat sebaran yang mewakili tiap prodi di FTK dengan total sampel sebanyak 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner setengah terbuka dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan memperhatikan proporsi masing-masing sikap mahasiswa calon guru terhadap angket yang diberikan dengan mengunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar (75 %) mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Ar-Raniry sebagai calon guru, mempunyai sikap positif terhadap profesi keguruan.

Abstract

The formation of a religious culture in schools can be developed through the development of an Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. This is done to achieve the goals of national education as stipulated in Law Number 20 of 2003, article 3 concerning the National Education System, the purpose of national education is to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character. , healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become a democratic and responsible citizen. The purpose of this article is to find the cultivation of religious values ​​in the development of the PAI curriculum. This study uses qualitative methods by examining the theories developed by experts, then analyzed and conclusions drawn. The results of the study show that the formation of a religious culture is carried out through conditioning the school atmosphere with religious values ​​that are applied to the behavior and activities of students. This can be developed through exemplary behavior of leaders; creation of a religious atmosphere; implementation of religious ritual activities; and character building.

Abstract

Development as an effort to improve one's technical, theoretical, conceptual and moral abilities in accordance with needs, is associated with the school of course through education and the need to achieve educational goals. In the world of education, school principals together with stakeholders strive to increase competitiveness. The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of developing SLB YPPC Banda Aceh in increasing competitiveness in the modernization era. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely a narrative description of the subject's behavior process in accordance with the focus of the problem under study. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that YPPC Banda Aceh SLB, in developing schools to increase competitiveness is in accordance with the concept of the vision, mission and goals of the school. The quality of learning is in accordance with the national curriculum. In developing SLB YPPC Banda Aceh human resources in collaboration with parents of students, official agencies and other agencies. Facilities and infrastructure in support of human resource development activities and the development of learning activities that are real are adequately adapted to the times and technology, and SLB YPPC Banda Aceh maintains good relations with the local community and always involves the community in school activities.

Abstract

Howard Gardner's idea about the existence of multiple intelligences or multiple intelligences which he outlined in his book "Frames of Mind" has changed the perspective of many people in studying human intelligence. To recognize and develop all the intelligences possessed by each student which varies greatly and all combinations of these intelligences the state has an important role to play, including in formulating various policies in education laws. However, in Indonesia, there are still many teachers who often do not provide opportunities and opportunities for their students to develop their multiple intelligences through suitable learning strategies and methods. One of the factors that may underlie this is the absence of mention of the theory of multiple intelligences in the Indonesian National Education System Law or the 2003 National Education System Law. In this study the authors wish to examine the relevance of the theory of multiple intelligences to the 2003 National Education System Law. This research is a qualitative research that can be categorized as library research. The results of this study explain that there is some relevance between the theory of multiple intelligences and the 2003 National Education System Law.

Abstract

The Paperlees concept is to reduce the use of paper in schools with the aim of effectiveness and efficiency in school management. All of this can be done with the help of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which has developed rapidly at this time. The World 4.0 era with increasingly advanced technology turned out to have a positive impact on various lines of life. Even in educational institutions, even though technological advances have also begun to be applied. For example, using Google Sheets for attendance, collecting test scores, and student data and others. However, the use of this technology will fail if there is no special training for teachers or educators. Using Google Sheets for attendance and assessors makes it very easy for teachers and academic departments to collect data in real-time. Based on this fact, writing this article aims to explain what steps were taken by Dayah Darul Ihsan in training educators about Google Spreadsheets. This article combines qualitative data from 3 teaching staff respondents to get objective results about the ease and difficulty of using Google Sheets. Based on field studies, it was found that it was easy and several obstacles in using Google Spreadsheet by teachers. convenience; data connection in real-time between the teacher who teaches the homeroom and the academic division of Dayah. Constraint; the small screens of Android devices, the large number of old teaching staff who have difficulty using the media and the limited access to the WIFI network at Dayah Darul Ihsan. This study is considered new because it describes training on the use of technology at Dayah educational institutions. The findings from this article can be used in developing and optimizing the use of technology in Dayah/Madrasah. Maximum use of technology can improve the quality of education in Aceh and Indonesia in general.

Abstract

Learning loss is one of the bases for learning recovery policies within a certain period related to the implementation of the curriculum by education units in Indonesia. The government gives options to educational units to implement a curriculum that fits the learning needs of students. The three curriculum options provided are the Curriculum 2013, the Emergency Curriculum (the simplified Curriculum 2013), and the Merdeka Curriculum. The purpose of writing this article is to find out and provide reinforcement regarding the distinction of the Indonesian Government's policy in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah through differentiated instruction and P5-PPRA. This research is in the form of library research by using Government policies, and formal guidelines such as guidelines related to Differentiated Instruction and P5-PPRA as library sources. This research is also supported by articles and eBooks on Google Scholar, Publish and Perish, and Connected Paper. The results of this study have implications for the concept of Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah with an effort to combine P5-PPRA which is strengthened by differentiated instruction. Apart from being a distinction in Madrasah, this endeavor also has implications for students to "experience knowledge" as a process of strengthening character, by expressing their unique creativity and innovation (implications of differentiated learning-teaching at the right level) which is strengthened by the values ​​of Pancasila and Islam Rahmatan lil Alamin (implication of P5-PPRA).
