Abstract

Humanistic existentialism considers that humans have authority over themselves in determining actions, changes, and destinies. The method used is literature study with a qualitative approach.Humanistic existential there are 6 positive basic dimensions that exist in humans:(1) Capacity for self-awareness; (2) Freedom and responsibility; (3) Creating self-identity and creating meaningful relationships with others; (4) The search for meaning, purpose, values and targets; (5) Anxiety as a living condition; (6) Awareness of the coming of death and non-existence, in which the six dimensions will be associated with Islamic counseling. In Islam, there are values in the 6 basic dimensions of humanistic existential positivity such as the capacity for self-awareness that is about awareness of being a servant of God assigned as caliph on Earth, freedom of action but also being responsible for his actions, creating harmonious relationship with others, realizing that the self has limitations and must be willing to face death whose nature cannot be avoided as living creatures and others.ABSTRAKEksistensial humanistik menganggap bahwa manusia memiliki otoritas terhadap dirinya sendiri dalam menentukan tindakan, perubahan, serta nasib. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pada eksistensial humanistik terdapat 6 dimensi dasar positif yang ada pada manusia, yaitu: (1) Kapasitas akan kesadaran diri; (2) Kebebasan serta tanggung jawab; (3) Menciptakan identitas dirinya dan menciptakan hubungan yang bermakna dengan orang lain; (4) Usaha pencarian makna, tujuan, nilai dan sasaran; (5) Kecemasan sebagai suatu kondisi hidup; (6) Kesadaran akan datangnya maut serta ketidakberadaan, yang dimana keenam dimensi tersebut akan dikaitkan dengan konseling Islam. Di dalam Islam sendiri pun terdapat nilai – nilai yang ada pada 6 dimensi dasar positif eksistensial humanistik seperti kapasitas akan kesadaran diri yaitu mengenai fitrah dan kesadaran akan sebagai hamba Allah yang ditugaskan sebagai khalifah di Bumi, kebebasan dalam bertindak tetapi juga bertanggung jawab atas tindakannya, menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis dengan orang lain, menyadari bahwa diri memiliki keterbatasan dan harus ikhlas menghadapi kematian yang hakikatnya tidak dapat dihindari sebagai mahluk hidup dan lain – lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to improve the emotional intelligence of students living in dormitories. The method used is a research library or library research. Literature research is carried out by collecting information related to the content of the language through Emotional intelligence, which is the skill in regulating the emotions that exist in individuals. Individuals who have a high level of emotional intelligence can control the level of emotions that exist in them. emotional intelligence cannot be possessed suddenly. The environment has a great influence in shaping emotional intelligence in individuals. The environment has an influence on emotional intelligence, especially parents and teachers. Parents play a role as teachers when children are at home while teachers have a role in increasing students' intelligence at school.

Abstract

Implementasi kebijakan Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah melibatkan banyak elemen yang belum tentu semuanya berpartisipatif dengan baik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini berusaha membantu pemerintah untuk mengevaluasi program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah dengan model evaluasi CIPP yaitu evaluasi konteks , input, proses, dan produk yang dipopulerkan oleh Stufflebeam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi yang bermanfaat bagi dunia akademik mengenai pemahaman tentang salah satu program pemerintah di bidang pendidikan yaitu Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah serta memberikan gambaran implementasi Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah Kota Balikpapan untuk menjadi evaluasi bagi pihak terkait. Selain itu penelitian ini bermaksud memberikan umpan balik bagi stakeholders tentang dampak implementasi program Indonesia Pintar serta sebagai dasar perencanaan program selanjutnya. Beberapa temuan di lapangan menunjukkan terjadinya ketidak tepatan sasaran penerima bantuan, serta penggunaan dana bantuan yang tidak tepat. Selain itu dana Program bantuan juga perlu ditingkatkan untuk memenuhi kuota siswa miskin, begitu juga dengan kurangnya sosialisasi tentang Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada siswa remaja yaitu degradasi minat belajar, kebanyakan dari siswa mempunyai minat belajar yang tinggi pada saat masih duduk di bangku sekolah dasar sampai sekolah menengah pertama yang pada saat itu masih memikirkan belajar saja, Berbeda dengan siswa pada usia remaja yang sudah mulai terpengaruh oleh beberapa faktor. Kajian dari studi literature ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang apa saja yang menyebabkan degradasi minat belajar pada siswa remaja dan bagaimana upaya pengentasan yang akan dilakukan agar minat belajar pada siswa remaja dapat meningkat sehingga menghasilkan prestasi yang lebih baik. Dari kesimpulan studi literatur ini, faktor-faktor penyebab degradasi minat belajar yang berasal dari faktor internal seperti tingkat intelegensi dan panca indra, kesehatan jasmani dan rohani, dan adanya sifat malas, Sedangkan faktor eksternal seperti faktor lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Selain dari faktor degradasi minat belajar, ada juga dampak yang diperoleh dari degradasi minat belajar siswa sehingga hasil belajar siswa menurun, selain itu juga, peran orang tua juga sangat penting dalam kegiatan belajar yang berhubungan dengan psikologi siswa, dan adapula beberapa pembahasan terkait upaya atau motivasi yang dilakukan dalam pengentasan degradasi minat belajar siswa pada lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

A grateful personality is one of the essential elements in the personality development of students. This personality is reflected in verbal and deeds as a manifestation of acknowledgment in the heart for the blessings. This personality encourages students to appreciate and repay the kindness of others. This study aims to determine the level of gratitude of junior high school students in East Kalimantan. This study used a mixed-method approach. Respondents in this study were 714 people. The mean test results showed that the level of students' gratitude at Junior High Schools in East Kalimantan was very high, with an average score of 4.6. The teacher's strategies in instilling a grateful personality are with advice, exemplary, assignments, habituation, and activity programs at school. The methods are by providing materials (lectures, advice, discussions, and questions and answers related to gratitude), exemplary by providing examples of the values of gratitude, giving demonstration tasks, and practice in gratitude, giving the task of making a list of good things that have been felt and should be grateful for every day, habituation to good things (instilling the nature of qana'ah, giving appreciation and motivation, presenting a sense of empathy around oneself, inviting self-introspection, giving charity, helping others, spreading smiles, greetings, visiting friends or teachers who are sick or grieving), and school programs (dhuha and dzuhur prayers in congregation, reading the Qur'an, praying before starting lessons, and giving sadaqah every Friday at school). The results of this study may have an implication to become a policy regulation for schools to support the development of a grateful personality for students of Junior High School.

Abstract

Televisi menjadi media yang tak pernah lepas dari kehidupan dan seolah menjadi sesuatu yang harus selalu ada dalam keseharian manusia modern mulai dari anak-anak, remaja, dewasa hingga lansia. Acara televisi mampu menyulap peminatnya untuk ikut dalam acara mulai dari kartun hingga sinetron, dengan sajian semenarik mungkin agar para penontonnya merasa terhibur. Namun, pernahkah kita bayangkan ketika anak-anak yang masih dibawah umur ikut menonton acara televisi yang bukan untuk mereka, apa dapat dipastikan anak-anak akan ikut mencontoh apa yang ada di televisi, sebab mereka adalah peniru terhebat dari apa pun yang dilihat. Artikel ini mencoba mengulas apa yang terjadi pada perilaku anak-anak setelah mereka menyaksikan acara televisi yang tidak seharusnya mereka saksikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan pengisian angket. Data yang didapat dianalisis dengan langkah merangkum, menyajikan dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun objek penelitian anak-anak berusia 5-11 tahun sebanyak 10 orang anak. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa sebagian besar (6 orang anak) anak umur 3-5 tahun menghabiskan waktunya untuk menonton televisi selama 3-6 jam perhari, dengan tontonan kartun dan sinetron. Pengaruhnya bagi anak mudah sekali menirukan lagu / dan gerakan yg mereka tonton.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to create a two-tier multiple-choice diagnostic instrument to identify students' misconceptions. In developing this instrument, 207 students were involved in interviews, essay tests, multiple-choice tests with open reasons, and two-tier diagnostic tests. The Cronbach's alpha equation yields a dependability value of 0.764 for the 16 valid questions. Based on the misconception analysis of the six main concepts, the majority of students had misconceptions. Overall, the instrument is quite effective for determining student misconceptions. In order to assess students' misconceptions about acids and bases, this instrument might be used as a substitute test.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and parenting style on adversity intelligence. The population in this study were teenagers who attended junior and senior high schools in Jakarta. Testing the validity of the construct and statistical analysis of Structural Equating Modeling (SEM) obtained a fit model of the influence of emotional intelligence, parenting, and demographic variables on the role-influence of adversity-fit intelligence with empirical data. The results of the study show that the emotional intelligence variable evaluates other people's emotions; parenting style is not involved; and the demographic variables of gender and education level have a significant effect on adversity intelligence. Evaluation of other people's emotions has a negative direction towards adversity intelligence. That is, a high evaluation of other people's emotions has an impact on a low adversity quotient. As with uninvolved parenting, gender and education level have a positive relationship. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and parenting style on adversity intelligence. Abstract

It still has to be enhanced since students' critical thinking abilities on the subject matter of rotational dynamics and equilibrium of rigid bodies are still an issue. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of the probing prompting learning model on students' capacity for critical thought with regard to the rotational dynamics and equilibrium of rigid bodies content. A total of 90 children from one of schools made up the sample for this study, which was performed there for four weeks in January 2023. The study approach employed was a quasi-experiment with a design for the control group that was not comparable. The Mann Whitney U examine was used to examine the validity of the hypothesis, and the findings revealed that Ho was rejected. The critical thinking abilities of students who study using the probing prompting model are significantly different from those of students who learn using traditional learning. In the experimental class, students' critical thinking scores increased more than those of the control class students. More than 80% of students expressed interest in using the probing prompting learning methodology. This study demonstrates how the probing prompting learning paradigm significantly enhances students' capacity for critical thought
