Abstract

This article explains on how effective performance management and employee engagement are likely to have an important and unique influence on high employee performance. The result shows that effective performance management has directly and indirectly influence on employee performance and directly influence employee engagement, it also was proved that employee engagement has directly influence on employee performance. Then, to produce some employee performance increments may be best achieved by integrating employee engagement to the performance management system at the organization. Employees who are engaged in their work and committed to their organizations give companies crucial competitive advantages, including higher productivity and lower employee turnover.  To this end, a new approach is introduced to the performance management process that includes employee engagement and the key drivers of employee engagement at each stage of performance management.

Abstract

This paper investigates the implemented a new Rp1,00 tick size on December 16, 2006 in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The empirical research was conducted using the cross-sectional multiple regressin from daily/intraday data. The new tick relative spread (RS) and depth-to-relative spread (DRS). From cross-sectional analysis, our findings indicate that trading frequency significantly affect the liquidity while stock prices and volatility does not affect the relative spread (liquidity)

Abstract

This paper investigates the day-of-the-week effect in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) returns and conditional variance (volatility) front October 2005 to October 2008. The empirical research was conducted using the AR, ARCH, and GARCH model and not the usual linear regression method. The results obtained indicate the GARCH (1,1) model is capable to capture the most empirical features observed in stock return data (leptokurtosis, skewness and volatility clustering); the results also shows the signifcant presence of the day-of-the-week effect on both stock returns and volatility.

Abstract

Objective ot this study was to determine whether SMEs in Bekasi has made the financial statement for a basis tax reporting,  basis for decision making in business management, credit application to financial institutions as well as to determine whether SMEs have been aware of any enforcement that ETAP GAAP has become effectively January 1,  2010. The other objective is to determine whether the user  ETAP GAAP in this case SMEs in Bekasi have undertood and prepare for implementation of ETAP GAAP. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The result show that most of SME in Bekasi has made the financial statements and tax reporting as a basis basis tax reporting,  basis for decision making in business management, credit application to financial institutions (60%).  However most of SMEs (65%) did not know  that ETAP has apply as GAAP effective January 1, 2010. Most of SMEs in Bekasi merely know enough  about the accounting treatment under GAAP ETAP with score 1.8. However, SMEs in Bekasi ready and willing to implelment ETAP GAAP with score 3.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah indicator intellectual capital prodi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja prodi. Dengan analisis PLS diketahui bahwa dari indicator intellectual capital yaitu learning and education, pelangalaman dan keahlian, kreativitas dan inovasi, sistem dan program, riset dan pengembangan, paten, strategi kemitraan, hubungan dengan pelanggan dan pengetahuan pelanggan hanya 2 indikator yang berpengaruh yaitu : learning and education dan kreativitas dan inovasi sedangkan indicator yang lain tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

The pulp and paper industry contributes to the Indonesian economy, especially to the non-oil and gas processing industry. Empirical research shows that pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) indicated financial distress. This study aims to find the effect of liquidity, leverage, profitability, and efficiency on pulp & paper companies' financial distress listed on the IDX. Using the Altman Z-score as a measure of financial distress, it was found that profitability, efficiency, and liquidity had a significant adverse effect on financial distress. In contrast, leverage had a significant positive effect on financial distress. Profitability has the greatest influence on financial distress, so it needs the primary intention of management. Abstract

Abstract— In every business there are requirements of the assets and resources. So, the supply chain managing links properly these areas to each other to make the efficiency. These resources can be financial, intangible and physical resources. If the resources are not available for the organization at the time when it require then it might be the reason for degrade of that business. The study of the relevant resources is very necessary, that take a role in the literature of business management. The intellectual capital is the aspect of impalpable assets, and its relational capacity promote the efficiency and profitability of the business. The intellectual capital known as the effort or work that a member put into the organization as intangible resources.  These resources include knowledge resources like copyright, patents, trademarks and other human’s ideas and experiments. So we can say that intellectual capital is the collection of all resources like relational capital, supply chain managing, structural and human, these are the resources that set the organizational competitive value.

Abstract

Employee satisfaction can improve organizational performance. There are various factors that can influence employee satisfaction, such as compensation and work discipline. This study purposed to analyze the effect of compensation and work discipline on job satisfaction at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Bekasi. There are 150 permanent employees at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Bekasi that used as a population. The study was carried out in 2019 on a convenience sample of 109 respondents. The data analysis used statistical tests with Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 23 program. This research model used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that compensation and work discipline had significant effect on job satisfaction at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Bekasi.

Abstract

Financial distress is a decline in the company's financial condition that occurred before bankruptcy. This research was conducted to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, activity leverage and agency cost on financial distress. This research was conducted at retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. The sample used in this study were 14 companies selected using purposive sampling. The analysis technique used is logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis of this study state that liquidity and leverage have a positive effect on financial distress, activity has a negative effect on financial distress, profitability and agency costs have no effect on financial distress.Keywords: profitability; liquidity; leverag; activity; agency cos; financial distress.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the ability of financial rations in measuring financial distress. The financial ratios used in this study are return on assets, current ratio, debt to assets ratio, and total assets turnover in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2017-2020. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling method and Z’-Score with  < 1,23 that obtained 66 data. The data used in the form of secondary data from www.idx.co.id. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. According to the results of research that has been done, the variabels of are ROA, CR, and TATO had a significant adverse effect, while variabel DAR had a significant positive effect on financial distress
