Abstract

Abstract: the purpose of this research was to find out whether the use of two stay two stray cooperative learning can improve students comprehension in Japanese adjective of the Japanese language student level I FKIP University of Riau. The research was experimental research which used the matching only posttest control group  design. The object of this research is a Japanese student level I Riau University consisting of 45 samples of the research. Data collection technigue used this research was test and questioner.  Post-test to find out students comprehension in Japanese adjective after two stay two stray cooperative learning was learning process. The result of  post-test were statistically analyted using to formula manually to know the improvement of students’ comprehension after two stay two stray cooperative learning was learning process Based on statistically analyzing data using t formula it was found that <(0.65 1,68) it means that there was not significant difference between students’ who taught by and students two stay two stray cooperative learning was learning process who taught by did not use that learning process. . questioner to find out students respondens and reason after two stay two stray cooperative learning was learning process. Based of questioner result, all of students attract to this learning method because student can improve the learning motivation of student, easly understand subject of learning and gain students memorize. Abstract

Abstract: In Japanese linguistics, there is a word called josuushi or said auxiliary numbers that are used in a manner combined after numeralia principal to declare the class or set of objects, animals or humans, stated frequency or frequency, stating the size or degree, shows the shape of an object, and can also claimed the life of a person. Besides humans, animals, and objects, one other object that can be used to assess the use of josuushi are mythological creatures that can be found on minwa or folklore. This study aimed to describe josuushi used to calculate the mythological creatures in minwa and use the josuushi terms of semantics of the language units. This research is a descriptive study with data collection through library research (library research), which is looking for and collecting data from various sources related to the research. Data obtained from 14 pieces of literature which consists of 12 short stories and two novels that tell about mythological creatures and mentions josuushi used to calculate the mythological creatures. Mythological creatures contained in this study, among others, mermaids, kappa, tengu, and the dragon. Based on the analysis, it can be seen that the mermaid can use 2 forms josuushi namely nin (人) and hiki (匹), kappa only use one form josuushi only that hiki (匹), tengu can use three forms josuushi namely nin (人), hiki (匹), and wa (羽), and the dragon can use 2 forms josuushi namely hiki (匹) and tou (頭). Josuushi use to calculate the mythological creatures based on characteristics represented by each of mythological creatures that can be seen from the physical characteristic, trait or habit, environment, conditions, and so forth.Keywords: Josuushi, mythological creatures, minwa

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how grammatical competence or knowledge of Japanese grammar in particular areas of syntax and semantics at third level students of academic year 2015/2016 and the factors that influence it. In this study, the method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach and data was collected through tests and questionnaires. Results of tests and questionnaires are calculated using a predetermined formula to determine the average and the percentage level of mastery the syntax and semantic aspects as well as the factors that influence it.Based on the calculation results of the test answers, it can be seen that the students have enough knowledge on the level of both the scope of competence of grammatical (syntactic-semantic) for elementary-secondary level. Counting results of the questionnaire answer indicate that there are several factors both internal factors and external factors are not functioning optimally in the process of learning Japanese grammatical.Keywords: grammatical competence, learning Japanese grammar (Bunpou).

Abstract

Abstract: This research is about idiom ki ni naru, ki ni kakaru, ki ni kakeru, and ki ni suru. The purpose of this research is to find the classification of these four idioms based on term and appropriate with used method. This research is qualitative descriptive research, cause describe of these four idioms with using words and analys and the datas be in form sentence from corpus of data. Analysis method uses theory advanced by Masahiro Oku (1992) in his journal “Methods for Analyzing Japanese Predicate Idioms and Function Verb Expresions”. The instrument is idiom control table in the form of schema and table as a guide to processing these four idioms with three terms. Result of this research is these four idioms just complete the third term. That term is meaning from one of idiom forming elements can be affected by other words beside the forming elements.Keywords: Idiom, ki ni naru, ki ni kakaru, ki ni kakeru, ki ni suru.

Abstract

Abstrak: The purpose of this research is to discover communication strategy used by japanese learners. This research divided the learners onto two groups, Elementary level learners and intermediate level learners. On this research, student on 4th semesters are elementary level learners while 6th semesters students are intermediate level learners; each group will be taken 10 people as object which make 20 people in total. Data collected using roleplay as a form of conversation As results this research found that elementary level learners tend to use intralingual strategy asking for help and intralingual make new world strategy; intermediate level learners tend to use intralingual restructuritation strategy. Generally speaking, intralingual strategy often used by both groups followed by form reduction strategy. One of the reason why that happened is, even though student already understood the language most of them practice their japanse as a tool to communication. This makes the student to feel nervous or doubt what kind of words or grammar they should use next.keywords: communication, strategy, intermediat, elementary, learners, japanese

Abstract

Abstract : This study discusses the writing of Indonesian vocabulary into Japanese katakana are motivated by the many tourists who come to Indonesia, which easily can get information - Indonesian tourism information available on websites today. Website - the website is presented in Japanese, which provides a wide range of offers and explanation of the tourist attractions, cultural, and others - others regarding Indonesia. Issues addressed in this study is how the writing vocabulary Indonesian into Japanese katakana which has a [n] caudate / ng / [η] and which has stemmed over the sounds of the letters h / h / [ħ] In this study, the method used is deskripftif. Data collection techniques will be studied and the data processing starting from finding and collecting websites that offer and explain the nature, culture, and the food contained in Indonesia by using a variety of languages in particular, the websites that use Japanese. Then look for the vocabulary of Indonesian origin, either using the local language and the national language of Indonesia itself by using the technique of choice directly through the discourse contained in this website that has been read and analyzed. The results of this study indicate that the use of writing vocabulary Indonesian into katakana Japanese who have a [n] caudate / ng / [η] and which has the sound of the letter h stemmed on / h / [ħ] influenced by the sound of the Indonesian who later will be adjusted to the sound contained in the Japanese language itself.Keywords : vocabulary, katakana, Japanese

Abstract

Abstract: This research discuss about the effectiveness of think pair share technique in increasing the mastery of Japanese vocabulary for XI IPS 1 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study to determine whether the technique of think pair share effective to improve mastery of Japanese vocabulary class XI IPS 1 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. In this study, the writer used a weak experimental research design with marked by the absence of class comparison. The technique of collecting data by giving a test. The test results on pretest and posttest are increase, on pretest the students'average score is 66,5 whereas on posttest is 83. The test results are processed using statistical t-test manually to find out how much significant level of students learning outcomes when using the think pair share technique. Based on statistical test data processing found to = 7.78 and tt = 2.85 (5% significant level), to tt then H0 rejected and Ha accepted, it means that significant influence on the effectiveness of think pair share technique in increasing the mastery of Japanese vocabulary class XI IPS 1 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Learning Vocabulary, Technique Think Pair Share, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru

Abstract: This study discusses the use wasei-eigo contained in the book Japanese language intermediate level for foreign learners/chuukyuu. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between gairaigo and wasei-eigo and how to classify wasei-eigo according Shibasaki Tamaoka and Takatori Yuki. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The object of research is the following text books Minna no Nihongo Chuukyuu I and Dekiru Nihongo. From the result of research, author found there are four kinds of wasei-eigo, they are wasei-eigo wich changing the meaning, wasei-eigo which shortening of the word, wasei-eigo which combination of some of the morpheme and wasei-eigo not originating from the English original. In this study there is also a wasei-eigo which changes the meaning as well as shortening the word. The use wasei-eigo most commonly found in the book Japanese language intermediate level for foreign learners/chuukyuu are wasei-eigo which changing the meaning and wasei-eigo which shortening the word. This is because when a foreign language is adapted in Japan, it does not just change the pronunciation, but the word itself could change in meaning and in function.Key Word: Gairaigo, Wasei-eigo, Chuukyuu, Intermediate

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the type of speech act of apology in motion ojigi (お 辞 儀) with sociolinguistic approaches and to describe the situation by ningen kankei (human relationships). This study subject is film Shazai no Ousama by Nobuo Mizuta on 2013. The study used descriptive qualitatif approach and analyzed by Dell Hymes‟s “SPEAKING” theory and Kabaya‟s “Ningen Kankei” theory. As the result we discovered that there are some various apologies with various politness level that has been used in dayly life. The level of polite is use in the speech apology with movement ojigi a have relevance to the situation and ningen kankei between speakers. There are 8 speech act of apology to the movement ojigi that is: moushiwake arimasen (saikeirei), sumimasen deshita (saikeirei), shitsurei shimashita (saikeirei), moushiwake arimasen (keirei), moushiwake gozaimasu deshita (saikeirei), moushiwake arimasu (eshaku), gomen (eshaku), dan sumimasen (eshaku).Keywords: speech act, apology, ojigi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the use of UNO Stacko game in learning Japanese vocabulary in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference between student’s learning outcomes between classes using the UNO Stacko with a class that did not use the UNO Stacko. The object of research is the students of class XI high school Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru of the academic year of 2017/2018 consisting of two classes, namely class XI IPA 3 and class XI IPA 5. This research uses pretest-posttest design, conducted on two classes of experimental class and control classes. the results of study found that the game UNO Stacko can improve student outcomes in learning japanese vocabulary rather than conventional methods. It’s seen from the evaluation value and the difference of pretest and posttest result of the experimental class has increased, that is 80 for the average value in the experimental class and 62,5 in the control classKeywords: Japanese vocabulary , uno stacko
