Abstract

New personnel in the TNI operations staff environment are expected to have sufficient skills and knowledge to be able to complete the assigned tasks. However, several factors such as complex tasks and lack of educational experience can affect the ability of new personnel to carry out these tasks. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of task experience and education partially and simultaneously on the adaptation of new personnel assignments in the TNI Operations Staff Environment. The research method uses a survey with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The sample size was 44 respondents. The results showed that a) task experience had a positive and significant effect on the adaptation of new personnel assignments; b) Task experience and education together have a positive and significant effect on the adaptation of new personnel assignments. It is recommended that in the selection of new personnel within the Indonesian Army Operations Staff, those who already have duty experience and education will support each other to facilitate the process of adjusting their duties. Looking at the dynamics of tasks in the TNI Operations Staff environment, it is recommended that task experience with the priority of work mastery and education with the priority of developing science and technology is the most ideal combination for accelerating adaptation. processes within the TNI Operations Staff so that they can subsequently smoothly carry out their duties within the TNI Operations Staff.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work quality and employee competence, individually and collectively, on the professionalism of human resources at the Planning and Finance Bureau of the Ministry of Defense. The research method uses a correlational survey with a quantitative approach; the sampling technique is simple random sampling, namely simple random sampling. The population in this study were employees, as many as 78 people. In contrast, the sample in this study was 65 respondents, with the percentage of inaccuracy determined to be as much as 5%. The results showed that: a) quality of work on the professionalism of human resources had a strong and significant positive influence with the results of a correlation coefficient of 58.6%, while other factors and tests influenced the remaining 41.4%. Significant (t-test) tcount 9,439 > ttable 2,000; b) employee competence on the human resource professionals has a strong and significant positive influence with the results of a correlation coefficient of 57.6% while the remaining 42.4% is influenced by other factors and significant test (t-test) tcount 9,247 > ttable 2,000; c) work quality and employee competence together on the professionalism of human resources has a strong and significant positive influence with a correlation coefficient of 61.8% while the remaining 38.2% influenced by other factors and significant test (F test) Fcount 50,073 > Ftable 3,15. The implication of this research is the importance of work quality and employee competence in increasing the professionalism of human resources in the Planning and Finance Bureau of the Ministry of Defence.

Abstract

Security method of data transmission process has been growing rapidly with the science of cryptography. Cryptography can provide security services that includes security aspects like confidentiality, data integrity, authentication and non-repudiation. Modern cryptography uses a key that must be kept secret to overcome the problem of cryptographic security. Problem in the use of the same key by two entities that communicate with each other in exchanging messages is a way to distribute the key. This problem can be overcome by using public-key cryptography, which allows users to communicate securely without a shared secret key. Digital signature is the application of public-key cryptography. When accessing important digital documents, it is necessary to verify the signature given. Implementation of digital signature always requires a hash function. Hash function used in this research namely SHA-256, SHA-384 and Tiger. Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) set the cryptographic standard for digital signatures is the Digital Signature Standard (DSS). Algorithms included in the DSS are the Digital Standard Algorithm (DSA), Ron Rives, Adi Shamir, and Leonard Adleman (RSA) and Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA). So it is necessary to test the best digital signature implementation strategy that can be used by optimizing the performance of the hash function. Performance testing of the three algorithms is done by making an application using a computer programming language C++. Implementation program using C++ class library for cryptographic scheme that is Crypto++ Library 5.6.0. Class libraries used in the classes functions for digital signatures. On the application of digital signatures generated, conducted tests is done by combining each hash function algorithm with each of the DSS in order to compare their performance in terms of time and memory usage. Against the test results are then analyzed using statistical tests. The result shows that pair of Tiger hash function and DSA algorithm is the best combination.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide a structured literature review on the constructs of organizational justice, work discipline, employee performance, and empirical evidence on the relationship between organizational justice, work discipline, and employee performance in Indonesia context of Indonesia. 25 (twenty five) papers published during 2018-2022 that investigates organizational justice, work discipline, employee performance, and empirical evidence on the relationship between organizational justice, work discipline, and employee performance were reviewed. The results of the literature review regarding the effect of the organizational justice on employee performance show different results. The majority (66,67%) indicated that the organizational justice has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while the remaining (33,33%) indicated that the organizational justice has insignificant effect on employee performance. The effect of work discipline on employee performance also shows different results. The majority (76,92%) indicated that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance and the remaining (23.08%) indicated that work discipline has insignificant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide a structured literature review on the constructs of work environment, work conflict, employee performance, and empirical evidence on the relationship between work environment, work conflict, and employee performance in Indonesia context. 24 (twenty four) papers published during 2018-2022 that investigates work environment, work conflict, employee performance, and the relationship between work environment, work conflict, employee performance were reviewed. The results of the literature review regarding the effect of the work environment on employee performance show different results. The majority (83.33%) indicated that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while the remaining (16.67%) indicated that the work environment has insignificant effect on employee performance. The effect of work conflict on employee performance also shows different results. The majority (91.67%) indicated that work conflict has a significant effect on employee performance and the remaining (8.33%) indicated that work conflict has insignificant effect on employee performance. Of all the empirical results showing that work conflict has a significant effect on employee performance, it is obtained evidence that 54.54% has a positive effect, while 45.46% has a negative effect. For this reason, it is recommended that organizations 1) create a work environment (both physical and non-physical) that is conducive to improving employee performance; 2) manage conflicts that occur in the workplace effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of the people of DKI Jakarta with the implementation of public services during the Covid 19 pandemic in 2021, especially services at the Urban Village level. The level of community satisfaction was analyzed through a survey conducted on 3,510 respondents from all areas in Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative method, while the community satisfaction survey uses an interview method using a computer via the jakevo.jakarta.go.id website or commonly known as Computer Assisted Web interviewing, for 107 permits and non-permits surveyed. In this way, the characteristics of each service level will be known, making it easier for service managers to know the strengths and weaknesses of the services provided to the public. The results of the study indicate that there is a need for efforts to maintain the quality of existing services, by making efforts to consistently improve service quality. Services that need to be maintained are not charged outside the provisions and what needs to be improved is that Jakevo information is clear and easy to understand.
