Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to determine the effect of either partially or simultaneously of the variable product variation and service quality on customer satisfaction Design/methodology/approach: The data used of primary data which obtained by questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation methods. The sample is 96 customers done by accidental sampling method. The data analysis tool used multiple linear regression model, while hypothesis testing was done by F test and t test at five percent alpha Findings: The result reveal that the product variation and service quality had a significant simultaneous and partial effect on customer satisfaction, furthermore there is evidence the strong relationship between the variables of product variation and service quality with customer satisfaction Research limitations/implications: This research is only carried out in one company as the object of research. Further researchers can conduct research from several companies so that the study results can be generalized Practical implications: The results of this study will provide to the management and the company in increasing profitability through consumer satisfaction. The results of the study also provide theoretical implications as a reference in costumer satisfaction. Originality/value: Determine the effect of product variations and service quality either simultaneously or partially on customer satisfaction. Paper type: Research paper

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of raw material inventory control using the Just In Time (JIT) method at PT. Johan Sentosa Bangkinang so that it can be a reference for the company in the future. The results of the study note that PT. Johan Sentosa in controlling the supply of raw materials is still not optimal, seen from the total inventory costs incurred is still quite large, namely Rp. 253,297,450. While the total cost of controlling raw material supply using the Just In Time (JIT) method is Rp. 71,167,800 and using the EOQ method of Rp. 170,802,719. By using the Just In Time (JIT) method the company is able to save costs by Rp. 182,129,650 or around 72% and using the EOQ method saves inventory costs by Rp. 82,494,731 or around 32%.

Abstract

Research to determine the effect of advertising, product superiority, life style and price on the purchase decision of the le-minerale mineral water brand (case study on Malaya Mart and Ranggon Mart in Bangkinang City). Types and sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, while data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, file research, observation and interviews. Based on the Slovin formula, the number of samples in this study was 100 consumers consisiting of 60 consumers at Malaya Mart and 40 consumers at Ranggon Mart. The sample was taken using accidental sampling technique. Based on the simulthan and partial test results, the variable of advertising, product superiority, life style and price have a significant effect on the purchase decision of the le-minerale mineral water brand (case study on Malaya Mart and Ranggon Mart in Bangkinang City).The closeness of the relationship that occurs between the atractiveness of advertising, product superiority, life style and price on the purchase decision of the le-minerale mineral water brand (case study on Malaya Mart and Ranggon Mart in Bangkinang City) is very strong with a correlation coefficient R of 86%. While contribution of independent variables to the dependent variables is equual to 72.9% while the remaining 27.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the financial performance achieved by the Rimba Beringin Autonomous Business Unit Cooperative in 2016-2019 and the strategies used to achieve financial performance that meets the standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia No.06/Per/M.KUKM/V/2006. This research is a descriptive study. The method of data collection used is research and observation files. The data analysis method used is the financial ratio consisting of liquidity ratio and profitablity ratio. The results showed that, the financial performance of the Rimba Berin Autonomous Business Unit Cooperative as measured by the liquidity ratio of current ratio and cash ratio showed poor performance. Judging from the profitability ratio, returnt on assets and return on equity shows excellent financial performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the application of the product quality control system at PT. Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa pekanbaru. With the total production data for box culvert products from January to July 2019, there are 20 defective products from the total production of 488 with a percentage of damage of 4.08%. The technique of collecting data using the method of interviewing, observation, and documentation at the company. Data processing is performed using tools found in Statistical Process Control (SPC). Based on the results of research with the Control Chart and Fishone Diagram. Based on calculations with the Control Chart, it has a control limit, namely the lower control limit (LCL) 3.02 and the upper control limit (UCL) 11.02. Based on the results of the fishone diagram analysis, it is known that the factor causing product defects is Human.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors that affect customer satisfaction in JNE Bangkinang Kota Branch delivery services. JNE branch population bangkinang city in 2019 as many as 18,884 people, the population in this study is people in bangkinang city who have visited and used the services of JNE. The sample was determined using accidental sampling method with the number of respondents in this study as many as 100 people with multiple linear regression analysis. The data type used consists of primary and secondary data. The data were collected using questionnaires and research files. From the validity test results, all items of the statement submitted to the respondent are declared valid. Reliability test results also showed that each item item has a good level of reliability with alpha cronbach's value above 0.5. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that variables free of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, warranty, care and tariff simultaneously affect customer satisfaction in using JNE delivery services and partially physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, care and tariffs have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, while the collateral variable does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction in using JNE delivery services. The correlation coefficient value states that the relationship of free variables with bound variables is classified as very strong with a contribution of 58.1 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance at PKS PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Tandun Tapung Hulu. The sample of this study used a technique using the Slovin formula so that the sample in this study were 49 employees of PKS PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Tandun Tapung Hulu. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and research files. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis with a significant level (α) of 0.05. The results of this study concluded that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at PKS PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Tandun Tapung Hulu, with a significant value less than 0.05. The contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is strong.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the discipline and work environment on employee performance at the New Hollywood Hotel Pekanbaru, the analysis used in this study is multiple linear analysis. The population in this research is all 42 employees at New Hollywood Hotel Pekanbaru. This is called the census technique. The data collection technique used is the method of observation, questionnaires and file research. Hypothesis testing was carried out with the F test and t test. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that simultaneously discipline and work environment on employee performance, while the partial test of discipline and work environment has an effect on employee performance, the close relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is very strong with the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable of 80.1%. The results of this analysis indicate that discipline and work environment have a significant simultaneous and partial effect on employee performance at the New Hollywood Hotel Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of product availability, selling price and service simultaneously and partially on the purchasing decisions of Padang cement products at the Reza Bangunan Store in Airtiris. The population in this study were all consumers recorded in July 2021, namely as many as 247 consumers. The sample in this study was determined using the Slovin formula so that as many as 71 respondents were obtained. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of simultaneous hypothesis testing, the variables of product availability, selling price and service are proven to have a joint effect on purchasing decisions for Padang cement products at the Reza Bangunan Store in Airtiris. Based on the results of partial hypothesis testing, the variables of product availability, selling price and service are proven to have an individual effect on the purchasing decision of Padang cement products at the Reza Bangunan Store in Airtiris, with the service variable as the dominant variable that influences purchasing decisions. The close relationship between the variables of product availability, selling price and service on purchasing decisions is very strong with a correlation coefficient (R) of 95.8%. While the contribution of product availability, selling prices and services to purchasing decisions is 91.5% while the remaining 8.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, price and promotion on the sales volume of catfish nuggets at UPR CV. Graha Pratama Fish in Koto Mesjid Village, XIII Koto Kampar District. The population in this study were all consumers who bought catfish nugget products at UPR CV. Graha Pratama Fish in Koto Mesjid Village, XIII Koto Kampar District in 2020, totaling 1,244 consumers and based on the Slovin formula it is known that the number of samples in this study amounted to 93 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of simultaneous and partial tests, the variables of product quality, price and promotion proved to have an effect on the sales volume of catfish nuggets at UPR CV. Graha Pratama Fish in Koto Mesjid Village, XIII Koto Kampar District. The close relationship that occurs between the variables of product quality, price and sales volume of catfish nuggets at UPR CV. Graha Pratama Fish in Koto Mesjid Village, XIII Koto Kampar District is very strong, while the contribution of product quality, price and sales volume variables is in a strong category.
