Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to determine whether intercropping planting patterns affect the level of coconut production and income of coconut’s farmers and which cropping patterns intercropping will result in bigger production and coconuts’farmer incomeThe research result showed that intercropping cropping patterns provide different levels of coconut production. Cropping patterns that affects most large coconut production was coconut-corn cropping pattern. Intercropping cropping patterns affected the income of farmers. Cropping pattern that gives the biggest farmer's income was coconut-rice cropping pattern.

Abstract

SUMMARYChichi Srijayanti Tamaweol Kansil. Level of Costumer Satisfaction Ica Fruit Soup in Boulevard Manado (Guidance of Grace A. J. Rumagit as chairman, Charles R. Ngangi and Ellen G. Tangkere, as members).The objectives of this research is to analyze the level of costumer satisfaction based on aspects of product, price, place and services in Ica Fruit Soup, and to know the effort that will take to maintain and to improve those four aspects in face the dynamic of this business competition.The research is conducted over three months from November 2014 until February 2015, started from preparation until undergraduation exams. The data used in the form of primary data and secondary data. The used Sampling is accidental technique sampling that is sample based on chance, anyone by chance met with researchers can be used as a sampel. Samples were taken for one week and obtained a total sample of 93 people .The analysis is done using a likert scale and followed by analysis of costumer satisfaction index.The result showed that consumer satisfy about the aspect of product by average score of 79.60 percent, consumers satisfy about the aspect of price by average score of 75.70 percent, consumers satisfy enough about the aspect of place by average score of 64.5 percent, while the aspect of service is consumer satisfy by average score of 68.4 percent.Keywords : Consumer Satisfaction, Product, Price, Place and Service

Abstract

ABSTRACTJuwita Walewangko. Organic Vegetables Farming Development Strategy in Kakaskasen Two village, District of North Tomohon in Tomohon (under Guidance Juliana Mandei as Chairman, Lyndon Pangemananan and Ellen G.Tangkere as Members).The purpose of this study is to identify the internal conditions: strengths, weaknesses, and external: opportunities, threats in the development of organic farming of vegetables in Kakaskasen Two village of North Tomohon district in Tomohon city and to formulate the development strategies of organic farming of vegetables in the village.Data collection was conducted over three months, since november 2014 until the month of February 2015. The data collection method is a survey method. The data obtained are primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and interviews directly to the department of Agriculture, Head of Kakaskasen Two village, farmer groups, farmers and consumers. Next the secondary data obtained through Badan Penyuluhan Pertanian Perikanan dan Kehutanan (BP3K) of North Tomohon in Tomohon. The sample were 30 respondents of organic vegetable farmers in which consist of 5 people tomato farmers, 15 farmers cauliflower and cabbage 10 farmers. SWOT analysis were used in this research to analyse the data.The results of this study indicate that a force for the development of organic farming vegetable farmers have experienced and mastered the technology, has a cooperation agreement with the Department of Agriculture, Head Kakaskasen two, and BP3K, organic production facilities are available and that the weakness is the future land conversion requires considerable time that is 2-3 years old, organic productivity is low, there is no labeling of organic products so the price is the same as the inorganic. Organic agriculture has the opportunity to be developed in the Village Kakaskasen two is the support of the government, increasing the public keasadaran to consume organic vegetables but face a threat that is the competition with other local farmers and reduced consumer confidence in the market because it is generally not 100 percent organic. Agricultural development strategy of organic vegetables in the Village Kakaskasen two are improving the ability and skills possessed by farmers, organic vegetables and quality assurance in cooperation with the Department of agriculture, and the labeling BP3K colored according to the levels of organic vegetables, to socialize constantly, and expand organic vegetable farming to benefit from access to capital as well as increased public awareness to consume organic products. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the use of agricultural land to food security. This study was conducted in North Minahasa Regency, and the data used was collected from various government agencies in North Minahasa Regency, including the Food Security Agency, Agriculture and Livestock Office, and Building Permits Office. The data was then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the use of agricultural land in North Minahasa decreased due to the increase in non-agricultural use, and could affect the food security. However, the current food security in North Minahasa was still in positive trend because due to the increase in productivity and the effect of growing season change.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPurpose of this study is to describe the profile of the business of “ Bawang Goreng Garuda Jaya" CV. Duta Agro Lestari based on the aspect of management, availability of raw materials, production processes, marketing, and finance.Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the CV. Duta Agro Lestari as a fried onion processing industry are included in the category of the industry. The company has 28 workers which divided into 7 permanent workers and 21 casual workers. The main raw materials used by the CV. Duta Agro Lestari is Sumenep red onion obtained from farmers, and supervised directly by the company. The production processing done daily during 3 days for each period of activity. All Fried onions product is packaged in a variety of models and sizes of packaging. Product marketing reach of the CV. Duta Agro Lestari is quite extensive, not only in the city of Palu, but also on the island of Sulawesi and Java,and singapore, Malaysia, Korea, and Japan. The faculty has two models of marketing channels.For one month, CV. Duta Agro Lestari receive a profit of Rp. 9,520,201.67 and the Break Even Point (BEP) of the business achieved with production of 1,274 kg.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Willem Nicolas Siwi. Factors that affect the collectability of farmers in East Tomohon BRI bank branch. Under the guidance of Dr. Ir Tommy Lolowang, MSi (Chairman), Ir. Eyverson Ruauw, MS (Member), and Ellen. G. Tangkere SP, MSi (Member).   The purpose of this study is to determine what are the factors that affect the ability of borrowers to repay loans of farmers, particularly in the BRI bank branch tomohon. This study uses a sample is not likely. The data used is primary data obtained through interviews with Bank Employees Field collector, especially on the characteristics of farmer customers who struggle to pay loans, and secondary data is primary data that has been processed. The variables measured were age, sex, marital status, education, long occupied dwelling, possession of a residence, a distance of BRI with the location of the home and the number of family dependents, other loans, business experience, business turnover, collateral, interest rate, and term credit payback time. The data has been obtained from BRI bank over the last year, were analyzed to determine the characteristics of the debtor where the most significant effect on the collectibility of the loans of farmers. Results of the study determined that the BRI branch captive eastern Tomohon experiencing nonperforming loans are largely at the age of 31-40 years, with female sex, having the status of married, graduated from high school education, long occupied a place to stay for 1-10 years, ownership of residence is a self-owned, has a location within the house with BRI as far as 1-10 km and has a number of family dependents of 2-3 people, have other loans, between 0-10 years of business experience, has a business turnover of between 1,000,000.00 - Rp20 .000.000,00 per month, has a household collateral, high interest rates and are in a payback period of between 7-12 months credit. And the factors that influence the real (significant) towards repayment of credit is long occupied dwelling, other loans and interest rates. Advice can be given by the researchers in this study that, when considering the value of the variable long odds ratio occupied dwelling, other loans, and interest rates on the loans at BRI branches east Tomohon can be focused on prospective borrowers with long residence occupies more than 1 years, has no other loans and debtors of understanding regarding his willingness to pay the installments with interest charges apply. BRI should Tomohon eastern branch is expected to be more selective in deciding which prospective borrowers may receive loans by considering various things in particular turnover of the businesses owned by prospective borrowers and frequency / intensity in obtaining loans. Business condition of borrowers in the future have to be predicted because there is a possibility of success or failure of the business in the future and it affects the value of the business turnover is becoming one of the benchmark loan repayment capacity.  Keywords: Credit, BRI, Collectability

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze the factors influence the conversion of agriculture land to non agriculture in Northern Districts Minahasa. The variables analyzed were total population, the GDP per capita and the number of industries. Data used for ten years from 2005 to 2014. This research was conducted in December 2015 to January 2016, from preparation to preparation of the report. The data used are secondary data obtained from relevant agencies such as the Central Bureau of Statistics North Sulawesi, Northern Districts Minahasa and the Department of Agriculture of Northern Districts Minahasa. Secondary data were collected that the number of inhabitants, the GDP per capita and the number of Northern Districts Minahasa industry with the time series data (time series). Data analysis was performed using the Linear Regression Analysis. Analysis was performed twice. The results of multiple linear analysis first on a variable number of the population, the GDP per capita and the number of industries that don’t get a good result so needs to be re-done with respesifikasi models by removing one of the variables is the variable the GDP per capita. The results of multiple linear analysis after removing the GDP per capita variable indicates that the number of significant effect on the decline of land in Northern Districts Minahasa. The population continues to increase making the demand for real estate increasingly led to the development of the settlement require land that would utilize agricultural land, agricultural land resulting in a downward trend.Keywords : Northern Districts Minahasa, Conversion

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis trading system is built to generate high agro commodity competitiveness through increased market access. To support the trading system then this system must have some advantages. This writing aims to describe the number of commodities and products transacted in the Auction Market of Agro Commodities as an alternative to the marketing of agricultural products. This research will be conducted for 3 months from May to July starting from preparation of data up to the preparation of research result report. The research is located in North Sulawesi Province. The data used is secondary obtained from the Department of Industry and Trade Pronvinsi Sulawesi Utara with existing data. The data obtained in this study will be analyzed by using descriptive analysis and will be presented in tabular form. The results of this study can be seen from describing the transactions that occur Hybrid Corn Commodity is consistently available and create a contract agreement, while Kopra commodity although not consistent but the contract agreement is greater than other commodities.Keywords : Market, Commodities, Agro

Abstract

The objective  of this research to determine the exchange rate of household income of rice farmers in Tolok Village, Tompaso Subistrict. The study was conducted for three months, from May to July 2018. The research site was conducted in Tolok Village, Tompaso District. The method of data collection in this study uses a survey method with the data used in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained by direct interviews with respondents based on a list of questions that have been prepared. Secondary data is obtained from relevant agencies. The exchange rate of farmer household income (NTPRP) on farmer expenditure is greater (>) than 1, namely 3.7 farmer's expenditure on food, namely 4.7 and the exchange rate of farmer household income on non-food expenditure, namely 2.1. this means that the average farmer household in Tolok village in Tompaso sub-district can be called prosperous because the income of the farmer's family can not only buy basic necessities but also meet the needs of other farming families.Keywords: Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP), Farmers Income
