Abstract

Seni khususnya seni musik mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat. Hal ini bias dilihat dari semakin banyaknya jenis aliran musik seperti dangdut, pop. rock, jazz, country, kroncong dan lain sebagainya, Selain banyaknya jenis aliran musik yang berkembang, juga semakin banyak bermunculan group / kelompok musik di kota-kota hampir di seluruh Indonesia.Hal ini menimbulkan persaingan antar kelompok musik yang membuat masing-masing kelompok harus mencari cara untuk tetap eksis di dunia hiburan musik. Irama permainan musik kroncong yang inovatif dan juga tetap menjaga keaslian musik kroncong serta manajemen yang baik dalam kelompok Tawang Musik membuat kelompok ini tetap eksis di dunia hiburan musik Kota Semarang sampai sekarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif artinya, dalam penelitian kualitatif seorang peneliti harus mampu menjelaskan semua bagian yang bisa dipercaya dengan informasi yang didapat serta tidak menimbulkan kontradiktif dengan interpretasi yang disajikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan irama permainan musik kroncong yang menghibur dan inovatif serta manajemen grup yang baik dapat membuat kelompok musik Tawang Musik eksis dan terus berkembang dalam dunia hiburan musik Kota Semarang. Peneliti menggunakan teori fungsi manajemen George Terry, yang didalamnya mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakkan serta evaluasiArt , especially the art of music has developed quite rapidly . It may be seen from the increasing number of musical genres such as dangdut , pop . rock , jazz , country , kroncong etc. , In addition to the many musical genres that evolved , is also a growing number of emerging groups / music groups in cities across Indonesia.Hal almost raises competition among groups of music that makes each group must figure out a way to exist in the world of entertainment music . Kroncong music rhythm game and also innovative while maintaining the original music and sound management kroncong in Tawang Music group makes this group still exist in the world of music entertainment Semarang until now . This study uses qualitative descriptive approach means , in qualitative research the researcher must be able to explain all the parts that can be trusted with the information received and does not give rise to contradictory interpretations presented . The results showed that the rhythm music game kroncong entertaining and innovative as well as good management group can make music groups Music Tawang exist and continue to thrive in the world of music entertainment Semarang . Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe the meaning symbols of Penyambutan Pengantin dayak Taman dance costume in Kapuas Hulu. The research focused issues related to meaning symbols about color, motifs, and forms in the dance costume of Penyambutan Pengantin Dayak Taman Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu.Method used was a description with a qualitative form, the approach used is semiotics. The sources data in this research were the results of interview, firld notes and documentation with the speakers, namely Eugene Yohanes, Yuliana Langki, and Yakoba. Validity data testing technique used was source triangulation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are the sistematic compiling and analyzing. The results from this research was a Batang lalo that has the meaning symbols of gathering of men and women in a marriage that is a complete and unbroken and also as a symbol of fertility and a prayer for the bride and groom?s new life. Motif kaki burung that have the significance of the symbol as a foothold or power to build a home that will have many obstacles in the future that a family must face. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the existence of Tari Jepin Tammbong Enam in Karimunting village. The problem of this research is related to the existence of Tari Jepin Tammbong Enam and the factors that affect the development of Tari Jepin Tammbong Enam. This study uses descriptive method with a qualitative form and ethnographic approach.  The data source of this study is approach colleted from the interview, the observation draft and the documentation of interviews with Suratmi, Mat’ani and Ruslan. The validity of data in tested by using triangulation techniques of the sources which compiled and analyzed systematically. The result of this study indicates: (1) Tari Jepin Tammbong Enam is still preserved by Sanggar Rukun Bersama since 1995. (2) The support systems of the existence of Tari Tammbong Enam are Sanggar Rukun Bersama, society, and government. (3) The obstacle factors of the existence of Tari Jepin Tammbong Enam is not interested to learn and nowadays young people assume that this kind of dance is outdated. (4) To built the awareness of young generation to involve in regional traditions especially Tari Jepin Tammbong Enam.Keywords: Existence, Tari Jepin Tammbong Enam

Abstract

AbstractThe musical composition of Double Concerto for Oud and Cello is a musical manifestation of the development of western music in Pontianak. Concerto is a form of western music in which there is a soloist as the principal role that is accompanied by orchestra. The cornerstones of the theories as a reference in term of music creation are concerto, music composition, elements of music composition, music composition techniques, and the writing of music notation. This composition, the music, consists of three movements. The method used in creating the music is transference. The creation stage uses several steps namely, observation, exploration, composition, and evaluation. As an absolute music, the discussion and analysis that the author focuses on each movement is on tone and harmony processing, rhythmic processing, timbre processing, tempo processing and tension, and music form. This piece is expected to provide an insight in the development of music science, especially in the form of concerto music and how to compose music through the traditional instruments of West Kalimantan and Western instruments.Keyword: Manifestation, double concerto, oud, cello

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the desire of researcher to know the structure of the presentation of Belenggang dance in the ceremony of paying intention to the Dayak Kanayatn community in Paku Raya Village of Kuala Behe District, Landak Regency, to describe the presentation structure that has characteristics both in terms of motion, music, make up and clothing, and poetry in it. . This research includes some theories such as dance structure presentation, elements of dance presentation and implementation.This research used descriptive method with a qualitative research form and choreographic as approach of the research. This research contained some datas about facts of structure of presentation of the dance in the paying intention ceremony in the Dayak Kanayatn community in Paku Raya Village, Kuala Behe District, Landak regency. The data were analyzed qualitatively, with Mr. Bulup, Mr. Daud and Mr. Sudimanto as the dancers, shamans and musicians who were knowing better about the Structure of Belenggang Dance Presentation.Based on data analysis, it can be concluded as follows. The structure presentation of the Belenggang dance is the arrangement of a single presentation or appearance which has three main parts contained in the presentation structure, such as the beginning, middle and the end. The main elements of structure of presentation such as dance moves that was intend  to describe something known as meaningful motion, floor design on the lines through which dancers, accompaniment music, poetry, themes, make-up and clothing, as well as venues are danced in open space because this dance was a dance that depicts gratitude towards Jubata. Keywords: Structure of Performance, Belenggang Dance, Landak

Abstract

AbstractBatu Bejamaban by legend of Paloh District, Sambas Regency. Legend is a folk tale that is considered truly happening, whose story is connected with historical figures, has bees flavored with miracles, and the characters special the South Coast Queen visting Paloh’s Kingdom. This becomes a working idea from the dance work Batu Bejamban which is presented in the form of dramatic dance or dance that tells stories. Batu Bejamban choreograph applies and goes throungh some methods, in its making – process such as exploration, processing, application, evaluation, and revision. It is necessary because in writting as weel needs a systematic process simplify the writing in order to make it proper as determined concept. This is not just an enteraining performance, but it consists innovation in developing traditiona dance, educational aspect and as well morality massage. This work is expected to be reference in developing dances from West Kalimantan and could be implemented in art and Culture subject for 2nd grade students in school. Keyword : Batu Bejamban, Legend, Method and Creational Process, Dance Analyzing.

Abstract

AbstractThe uniqueness Tebah Gendang of Iban Sebaruk Dayak tribe in Sekayam District Sanggau regency. This study aims to analyze the beats patterns and the technique of playing Tebah Gendang. This study was conducted using the descriptive-analytic method in the form of qualitative research. The approach used in conducting the study was musicology. The researcher acted as the research instrument. The data were gathered from the public figure in the community and the kendang craftsmen and players, of which they were collected using observation, interviews, and documentary study techniques. The data were validated by sources triangulation and technique triangulation and. were analyzed by adapting the technique from Miles and Huberman such as data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The findings show that there are eight patterns of tebah gendang beats; they are tebah pekak ayam, babi makan belaut, tungkat tebuh betung, pelebar, gendang nait, kuntau, ngajat and banong belit. In addition, there are two sounds produced (“dup” and “pak”), which were formed from being hit using the palm. This artistry is unique because it has a variety of different beat patterns with other musical instruments. AbstractThe Background in this research content was for created a documentary of  Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak. General problems in this research were : How is the musical accompaniment of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak description? The Purpose of this research was: 1) Described and denotated the Musical accompaniment and vocal of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak, 2) Describing music form of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak. The method that used in this research wasqualitative descriptive method and used musicology approach. The datas of this research were the result of the wich direct observation and interview to the informant about the System of Violin Melody, system of Gendang Panjang, Tawak and Vocal. The Data Analysis doing with the qualitive method, with the informant data, Jerie Anwar, Herman, Ilham Setiawan, S.Sn, and Yoga Kharisma, S.Pd who always active in artistic activity and know about the musical accompaniment of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research are to  know and to understand deeper about the form of the performance of JepinLangkahGersikPantai dance, including the range of motion, accompaniment music, cosmetology, and the clothes Also, upper and under design, and the place to show. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative method with choreography approach. The results of this research are 1. JepinLangkahGersikPantai at Pontianak West Kalimantanis represented the life of the people who live near the beach. 2. JepinLangkahGersikPantai is divided into three categories those are first movement (pantai) second movement (nyusorarus), last movement (nyusorgelombang). 3. The numbers of the dancers should be in even numbers and consist of men and women. 4. The instruments of this dance are beruas, violin, accordion, and gambus. 5. JepinLangkahGersikPantai dance is using realistic cosmetics. 6. Abstract

 AbstractThe Background of this research was to archieve the poem of Generasi Penerus Musik Iringan Langkah Jepin Gersik Pantai Kota Pontianak. The common problemsfound in this  research were: How is the description of music in the Generasi Penerus poem. Then, the purpose of this research were: 1) Descriptions of vocal melodies in Generasi Penerus poem, 2) Descriptions of accompaniment music in Generasi Penerus poem. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method with a musicology approach. The data contained in this research were the result of direct observation and interviews with informants in the form of a violin, selodang, marwas, tambourine and poetry melody pattern. The data were analyzed qualitatively with data sources, namely Yusuf Dahyani, Anwar Djafar and Reza Zulianda, S.Pd who had played and active role and learned about the poem of Generasi Penerus Musik iringan Langkah Jepin Gersik Pantai Kota Pontianak.
