Abstract

AbstractThe creation of this work aims to allow individuals or groups of different cultures and comprehensionto open minds for a renewal for groups or individuals who will develop their knowledge, especially in the creative process of creating musical works.Lawang is a music program that includes extra musical objects that are realized into a work of musical composition. In the context of the musical aspect of this work is more dominated by occidental instrumentation (European-American) which is integrated into local cultural understanding in concept, technique, and philosophy. Lawang's works will be presented to the mixed musical ensembles. The steps used in the creation of this work include: preparation, incubation, illumination and verification with transferen and syncretic approaches. The Lawang music composition is a response to the intercultural phenomena which has the effects to the process of evolution of music science, especially, the creation of the music composition in Pontianak. The intercultural phenomena is the perspective that has been adopting as the framework of thinking in the creation of music which includes several characteristics such as open mindset and response to the coming and the development of the new knowledges which then realized.  Keywords:       Intercultural, Pontianak, Music Composition

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning model on STAD type on students’ absortion in learning pianika ensemble Grade VIII of SMPN 1 Ledo.This research was an experimental study using research design of one group pretest-posttes design. The independent variable in this research was the cooperative learning model of STAD type while the dependent variable was students’ absorption. The subjects of this research were students of Grade VIII A as many as 33 students. The data collection techniques used were interviews and tests. The data analysis techniques consisted of three stages. Those were  the stage of data description, the stage of analysis requirement test and the stage of hypothesis test. The stage of data description included the distribution of students’ absorption data. The stage of analysis requirement test included normality test. While the stage of hypothesis testing used Paired T-test with a significance level of 5%. The calculation process used the computer of SPSS program version 17.0 for windows. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model of STAD type had a better performance towards increasing the students’ absorption in the learning of pianika ensembles in Grade VIII A of SMPN 1 Ledo.Keywords: model of STAD, absorption, pianic ansemble.

Abstract

AbstractThis study analyzed the form of Betaja dance presentation in the community of dayak kancikng in Meliau, district Sanggau, which is based on the desire of researchers to make complete documentation about betaja dance. the problems in this study were, 1)what is the form presentation of the dayak betaja dance kancikng, 2)what is the betaja dance teaching material about art and culture lessons skills at the level of the class x senior high school. the purpose of this study was 1)describe the form of presentation of the betaja dance of the Dayak Kancikng tribe, 2)describe betaja teaching material for art and culture lessons and skills at class x senior high school. This research used descriptive method with qualitative research as well as used the choreographic approach. sources of data in this study and use choreographic approach. the data source in this study was Yohanes Aben male dancer male and musician, Tang S. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the function of srakalan music at wedding reception event at Sungai Raya Village Sungai Raya District of Bengkayang Regency. The reason researchers choose art Srakalan in Sungai Raya Village because the function of srakalan music as a means of da'wah and entertainment. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative research form. The approach used is the ethnographic approach.The results of research are: (1) music function Srakalan is as a means of entertainment and religious. (2) Srakalan music in Sungai Raya Village originated from the 70s until now and still maintained its existence. (3) this research can be implemented to school on cultural arts subjects or in extracurricular activities in school. Given the function of music Srakalan play an important role in the wedding reception is expected art of music Srakalan no future generation.Keywords: use, music, srakalan, wedding reception.

Abstract

AbstractThis research analyzing about Meaning of lyrics the Serakalan in Sungai Jaga B village at Sungai Raya sub-district, Bengkayang District. The problem of research in this research is 1). Meaning of the lyrics the Serakalan in Sungai Jaga B village at Sungai Raya sub-district, Bengkayang District. 2). How were implementation of result the research done the Meaning of the lyrics to the Serakalan for learning in the school. This research used descriptive methods and a research reom used was qualitative research. In this research used sosiology approach. The source of data in this research is Darmawan and Muaiyat. The data in this research is interview results, observation results, sound recording, notebook, foto and video about Meaning of lyrics the serakalan at Sungai Jaga B village in Sungai Raya sub-district, Bengkayang District. Data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique to test the validity of data used was source an extension of observatioin and data analysis tecniques. The result of this study is lyrics of serakalan, lyrics navigate is Asyroqol. Meaning of lyrics Asyroqol is worshiped for Nabi Muhamad Saw, excrescent Nabi Muhamad Saw, and praise Nabi Muhamad Saw. perfomance (the presentation will be sempa mask, betel leaf, areca nut and others). Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksistensi, faktor yang mempengaruhi eksistensi, dan upaya mempertahankan eksistensi Grup Nada Irama. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Mendeskripsikan eksistensi Grup Nada Irama didapat melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap narasumber, mendokumentasikan partitur, prestasi, kegiatan dan pemain musik Grup Nada Irama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Grup Nada Irama masih eksis sampai sekarang (2016), namun mengalami penurunan dikarenakan beberapa faktor. Faktor yang mempengaruhi eksistensi diantaranya kebutuhan masyarakat akan musik tanjidor, kebudayaan turun temurun, faktor ekonomi, kurangnya minat generasi muda dan belum pernah ada bantuan dari pemerintah setempat. Upaya mempertahankan eksistensi dengan mengajarkan notasi balok kepada generasi muda, mencari anggota arisan, menyisihkan uang hasil tampil dan menggunakan tanjidor sebagai sarana hiburan pada acara yang diselenggarakan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan dipelajaran Seni Budaya SMP kelas VII semester I serta dapat menjadi referensi bagi penelitian lanjutan mengenai musik tanjidor.   Kata kunci : Eksistensi, Grup Musik, Tanjidor. Abstract : This research aims to describe the existence, factors affecting the existence and effort to maintain the existence of the Nada Irama Group. Researcher used descriptive method in this research. Describing the existence of the Nada Irama Group obtained through observation and interviews with informants, documenting scores, achievements, activities and music player. The results showed that the Nada Irama Group still exist until now, but declined due to several factors. Factors affecting the existence of which community needs tanjidor music, cultures heredity, economic factors, the lack of interest of the younger generation and unprecedented support from lokal government. Efforts to maintain existence by teaching notation to the younger generation, looking for members of social gathering, set aside the money to appear, and use tanjidor as a means of entertaiment for the event. The result of this research are expected to be implemented in a cultural art lesson on senior high school 7 th grade one semester and it can be refrences further analysis about for tanjidor music. Abstract

Abstract The background of this research was the researcher desire to ducomentation process of making sape to keep it sustainable and growing.  Sape is a traditional dayak musical instrument in Kalimantan Indonesia and Sarawak Malaysia made from wood, in addtiion, sape music instrument also has a unique music and melodious. The problem research was the tools used and the process of making sape.This research aimed to described the tools used and the process of making sape instruments in the capkala village. The research method was descriptive qualitative with organological approach. Data collected used was observation, interview with speakers was Dominikus Uyub, and documentation technique. Based on the data results of research, the tools used of making sape is sinso, ax, ketam, chisel, hammer, meter, electric drill, saw, sandpaper, carving tool, and knife. Abstract

 AbstactThe type of research is Research and Development (R & D) in stage 2  in which the researcher did not make product design through research but only made or tested the effectiveness, efficiency and practicality of the use of existing products. The steps used in developing this instructional media use the steps of Borg and Gaal (2003) that have been simplified by Tim Pusjaliktnov (2008). This media had been validated by the material and media experts and small-scale field testing phase. Material and media experts stated that this media was suitable to be applied as a medium of learning material of beam notation. The average score of the material experts is 3, which is in the category of "very good" and the average score of the media experts is 2.78 which is included in the "very good" category. The results obtained from this small field trial stage are divided into two namely, the average score of the learners and the extracurricular builder of the art of music. The average score of the learners is 2.26, which is included in the "good" category and the average score of the extracurricular musical art coach is 2.6 which is in the "excellent" category.Keywords: media learning, audio-visual media, beam Notation

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is low student creativity  in dance. This is due to a lack of stimulus to motivate students to do a dance. The purpose of this research is to describe the learning process and increasing student creativity in dance used the Teams Games Tournament learning model. The method used in this research is descriptive method and qualitative approach. The form of research is classroom action research. Research subjects are grade X MIA 2 students of Senior High School 9 Pontianak. Data collection technique in this research is closed observation directly, interview technique, documentation and skill test technique. In this research used triangulation technique to test the validity of data. The researcher used 3 steps to analyze the data, that is : reduction, display data, and verification.The results of this research are shows an increase in dace creativity to students from learning process that has been carried out. The process carried out on students grade X MIA 2 of Senior High School 9 Pontianak used Teams Games Tournament learning model. The researcher gave a competition consisting of 3 games with they teams. The games are to develop malay dance basic. There are 3 steps of research, that is Pre Cycle, Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. After learning process from cycle 1 to cycle 2 and step student creativity in develop malay dance  basic increase with an average value of 68 on cycle 1 still in the “Unskilled” category to average value 76 on cycle 2  “Skilled” category.Keywords : Learning Model, Teams Games Tournament, Dance Creativity.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was based on the poor cognitive learning achievement of seventh-grade students in SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. The aim of this research was to describe the design, the process, and the cognitive learning achievement in music lesson which students had learned using Teams Games Tournament learning method. This research used descriptive method with a form of classroom action research. Data in this research were collected by observation and test. Research instruments included the sheet of observation manual and learning achievement test. The result of this research showed that the students’ cognitive learning achievement had been increased during the process. At the first cycle, the sheet of observation manual scored 93.57% with a rate of excellent. There are 21 students (53.85%) who surpassed the test. The average test score of this cycle was 73.85 with a rate of average. At the second cycle, the sheet of observation manual scored 95% with a rate of excellent. There were 37 students (92.5%) who surpassed the test.
